“Dinner at Evvia more than lived up to its reputation. We ordered across the menu — the yiouvetsi (slow-cooked goat with orzo and artichoke hearts), a whole grilled fish with horta, lamb chops, and the lamb souvlaki — and there wasn't a weak dish on the table. Finished with the galaktoboureko for dessert, which turned out to be exactly the right call.
Proper Greek cooking, no shortcuts. I'd happily go back.“

Many tables ordered Al la car like I did & they’d leave early. Chef’s menu takes about more than an hour. Bite-size multiple tapa dishes.“

“We’ve been coming to Coconuts for many years! They’ve since reorganized their menu with way more reasonable portions. Quality is still the best around. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, be it the jerk chicken, jerk pork, oxtail, festivals, cornbread, or their housemade gingerbeer (non-alcoholic)“

“1st time in Cali , this place was a 3 min walk from my hotel . I had the adult grill cheese. It was delicious. The service was great and the prices were not bad at all . I definitely recommend and will be returning next time i’m on the west coast .“

“Always a good place to go especially in the winter for some warm comfort food! Indoor seating can be a bit smoky from time to time. They also have outdoor seating which is great during the pleasant weather of Bay area. Can get crowded during peak dinner time.“

Had the expresso chicken burrito with red sauce, pork expresso burrito with green sauce, and expresso chicken and steak burrito with red sauce all burritos topped with sour cream, guacamole, onions, and salsa. Had all el loco drink very refreshing and beers and their hot chicken wings served with ranch and Chile sauce along with carrot slices and celery very good. Restaurant very clean and service was great and quick.“

“My wife and I online-ordered some goodies from Deja Vu recently. The best Chocolate Babka ever with lots of chocolate, a hint of cinnamon and very moist. They must have used a high quality of cocoa. You can taste the passion and love the chef put into her cakes. This is a local hidden gem!“

“When the host (from Myanmar!) came out with our tea leaf salad and began explaining and mixing each ingredient, by the smell of the blended tea leaf dressing I knew it was spot on, authentic, just right.

The mango puree marinated chicken was very nice. My gin drink with Thai basil was unique and hit the spot. Our Burmese host and I connected over Myanmar, and she laughed at my pronunciation of different Myanmar states. She topped off a to go cup of their super duper spicy chili sauce on our way out.“

“I ordered a large pick-up catering order and it was exactly what I wanted. Mini burritos were a perfect handheld main for a party. And the mini tacos (crispy and soft shell) looked and tasted amazing and were a hit. Not something you see at a lot of places and a great option for catering. Also 2 large salsas were included with the order for free! I definitely recommend this place especially for planning an event.“

“I only order takeout from P.F. Chang’s, and while the food is always solid, what really stands out to me is the service. Every time I pick up an order, the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and makes sure everything is taken care of. The manager especially deserves recognition. She is always extremely welcoming and goes above and beyond to make sure I have a great experience. It’s honestly impressive to receive this level of service even when I’m just picking up a takeout order. The staff and especially the manager deserve a lot of credit, and they’re a big reason why I’ll keep coming back“
