“This is a take away place. We had the kouign amann and chocolate croissant. Excellent. Chocolate croissant is not sugary with dark chocolate. Could have a bit more chocolate but high quality chocolate 🍫🍫🍫. baguette tends to sell out early here.“

“I came in during a busy Sunday afternoon with a large group and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Armando was our server and too went above and beyond for us as well, evening splitting a complicated check to us . The food was outstanding, the pies to die for. Really impressed an thankful for the outstanding food and service“
“My wife and I online-ordered some goodies from Deja Vu recently. The best Chocolate Babka ever with lots of chocolate, a hint of cinnamon and very moist. They must have used a high quality of cocoa. You can taste the passion and love the chef put into her cakes. This is a local hidden gem!“

“Late December 2025 visit:
Dropped by on a Sunday morning when we visited the Cal Ave Sunday Farmer's Market. A bit hard to locate as the shop front didn't scream 'bakery' at us and we walked by at least 3 times looking for the address.
The young man helping us was very friendly and helpful in explaining the flavors to us!
We picked up 2 focaccia breads in black takeout boxes and ate them after a hike the next afternoon. Tasty but oily. Didn't find any truffle flavor but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough.
Fun memory made better by the staff and his opinions on the savory focaccia bread.
The shop had cake in jars and cookies available as well.
I'd be interested in trying the sourdough bread loaves next time!“
