“We tried the Gyu King Ramen and the Original King Ramen.

The Gyu King (limited edition) was amazing!The broth had such a rich, deep beef flavor and tasted super comforting. Definitely worth trying while it’s available.

The Original King is always solid. I like adding a bit of the spicy sauce which cuts the richness and makes the soup feel lighter and more balanced.

Would happily come back again!“

“I came here for a school field trip. The trip was amazing and super fun. Basically we tested their new robot system, and it was really cool. After we finished, we fought each other (the other kids). Also, the cafeteria was great, the “vending machines” were well stocked, and overall I had a great time. I wish I could go back and relive that day.“

“YUM!! This was a delicious meal. I had a spicy chicken sandwich and my husband had a burger, which he said was the best he’s had in a long time. I loved my chicken sandwich. Our fries were SO tasty! I couldn’t decide between the strawberry and chocolate shake and they were kind enough to give both to us. They were both PERFECT!! I liked chocolate better but the strawberry was still fantastic! Great service!!“

“My partner and I recently found this spot on her lunch break because we were craving soup and wanted to avoid dealing with parking downtown.

We both ordered the momo (buffalo) noodle soup and were blown away! The noodles were similar to mama/indomie rather than fresh, but I ended up loving it regardless. The broth was very light but super flavorful and savory. AND THE MOMOS!!! Absolutely to die for; I think they were the best I've ever had. Not to mention it was very fairly priced and lasted us both for two meals.

Not to mention, especially in the South Bay, most Nepalese/Himalayan restaurants heavily feature Indian food. Rara stands out to me because Nepali food is absolutely the star here. I wasn't familiar with a majority the menu and that's a great thing because it means they're offering unique dishes you can't find everywhere. Plus, the service was incredibly friendly and kind.

“I ordered Veal schnitzel and beet salad.

Overall the schnitzel had a gentle texture, however some small parts were a bit chewy, for this price I expected to melt in ny mouth.
Beet salad was good, I like the addition of pistachios, however some greens were not fresh, I could taste it.

“Great experience at World Wrapps in Palo Alto.

The food was fresh, quick, and exactly what you want when you’re looking for something healthy but still filling. The menu has a lot of variety, and everything tasted well put together.

What really stood out though was Angel. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers and takes pride in what he’s doing.

Service like that makes a big difference. Will definitely be coming back.“

Had the silver spoon chicken boti roll, paneer tikka masala, naans and I can’t recall the last dish but it was the rotisserie chicken style ( oh that was so great). Their tea was so also awesome.

“Kanji Sushi and Ramen took over the location of the former Sushi Tomo, which we loved. We have been really happy with the new owners. The staff is so accommodating and nice, the Sushi and orders have been terrific and the atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. We have been very happy with dine in or take out.“

“To be honest this place can be the best place for me in Palo Alto! As a person who was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey this place is a gem for me. I love the variety of the food, their espresso tastes awesome (better than some other chain stores) and stuff is always so lovely and caring. Their breakfast is the closest breakfast to real Turkish cuisine. They even brought İzmir boyoz before! The store can be small but very bright and airy. Highly recommended!!!“

“Sweet Maple, a chain brunch restaurant, is not only available in Palo Alto but also in Cupertino and San Francisco. Every weekend, there are long lines of people waiting.

For a period of time, I often went to Sweet Maple in PA for brunch. I tried many dishes but couldn't figure out what made it so special. My personal experience was that it was functional, and perhaps a workermanlike approach is what customers need!

Sometimes success doesn't require your plating to be as exquisite as Michelin-starred restaurants, because your competitors are IHOP and Denny's.

The abalone dish is easily one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. Perfectly prepared, rich, and layered with flavor. It’s the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after the meal ends.

What really stands out is the consistency. Both visits delivered the same high level of freshness, execution, and attention to detail across every plate. Nothing felt rushed or overlooked.

The sake flight was another highlight, thoughtfully curated and pairing effortlessly with the variety of dishes we ordered. It elevated the entire experience and gave us a chance to explore different profiles alongside the food.

Their house specials I’ve tried have all been great, the Super Savory fried chicken sandwich is outstanding (eat your heart out, Popeye’s), and the beer and cider are interesting, very good, and only $5 each. This is one of the fast casual projects that share the same owner as the Michelin-starred Mister Jiu’s in SF’s Chinatown, and the food quality reflects this.“

Jianbao is still delicious. I’ll probably skip the hot and sour soup next time. It’s tasty but too much for one person. Also, there’s a lot of soup and I don’t think it’s worth the money. OK if you’re sharing.

“We got the brioche french toast and the corned beef hash!
The Caribbean french toast sounded really good but I can't eat bananas so I asked them to just add coconut to the brioche french toast. I'd highly highly recommend ordering the french toast that way cuz it was really delicious and flavorful!
The corned beef hash also tasted really good and hit the spot.

Honestly there were so many options in the menu that looked really yummy, so you could order anything and come out satisfied.
