“I was craving a good ramen for such a long time, and omg this place did not disappoint. We landed up reaching there a little after lunch time and still the staff was so nice and helpful. I ordered the tonkotsu tan tan ramen medium spicy (level 2) and it was soooooo delicious. I enjoyed each and every bite. The other person with me had the spicy miso pork chachsu ramen with level 3 spice. It came piping hot and hit the spot.
The ambiance was very warm and welcoming. Nice light music and great lighting.
I would recommend this place for a nice ramen experience, especially when they are so quick with their service. You will enjoy every morsel.
I am definitely coming back here for more ramen and trying other dishes. Looking forward to next time!“

“I usually eat at big chain restaurants, but finding Pupuseria y Taqueria Rosita during the 2026 World Cup was such a refreshing change. I stopped in to watch the Brazil vs. Morocco game and was so glad I did. Coming to a family-owned place like this was a completely different, better experience compared to the stressful and superficial vibe of major chains.

The vegetarian super burrito was meticulously prepared and absolutely delicious. Having lived abroad for a long time, being able to enjoy authentic food like this in our area feels like a real privilege. The atmosphere was incredibly family-friendly, and the service was just as great as the food. I truly hope this wonderful local business continues to thrive—they deserve it!

“Good place to take big groups, went with 11 family member on a Friday night for dinner and they accommodated well. The seafood tastes fresh and the portions are good.
The garlic noodles are a must try.

On the weekdays it's not busy for lunch and they have a great happy hour menu, M-F 2-5pm.
Oysters are fresh and creamy. Edemame came in a big sharing portion.
I like the shrimp and fish tacos, only on the happy hour menu.
The chicken can be dry sometimes but the flavors are good.“

The dining experience is very Chinese, from the way you order to how they structure the menu to how the dishes are served I feel like I'm back in PRC. Which could be good or bad depending on person. I ordered the signature spicy noodle combo. I agree with other reviewers that the noodles are the weakest link they are way too soft and wimpy. The soup base is good with the distinct spicy profile but the ingredients in there doesn't really get the taste integrated, they all just fell flat. Prices are on the slightly expensive side but portions are big, two people of average appetite could easily share a combo, and they have a condiments aisle you can add cilantro peanuts or whatever unlimited. Kinda weird for the noodles tho since they are already heavily seasoned, it's more of a hotpot thing. But I added some fried peanuts into my noodles nonetheless. Service was OK and vibe is family / locals.“

Content creators and musicians in the area visit sometimes: Herencia de Patrones (Clika), Rob the Original (master barber), and more have visited Los Gallos Taqueria.

Los Gallos Taqueria gives back to the community (i.e. turkey drive) and brings live music to Newark (corrido, grupo, mariachi nights).

We appreciate the occasional DoorDash deals! I wish DoorDash made it easier to DoubleDash EZBACHI (Newark) and Los Gallos Taqueria.

Tijuana Style tacos with Al Pastor meat are go-to, so are super nachos (custom order: add grilled onions and jalapenos, hold the sour cream).

It's easy to get here from the from Union City BART station on the AC transit 200 bus. The drive thru service is convenient for online order pickups.

We went to eat early lunchtime on a Thursday. The restaurant was located in an area I usually not visit. So it was a surprise when my friend suggested this area to eat. There were plenty of free parking spaces. The restaurant was open and clean and at this time of writing they have been in the business for about 11 years.

The food was fantastic, every dish was very well done and tasty. The waiter and waitresses were very attentive, and we could not be happier.

We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“
