“Loved everything about our visit. Great spot for authentic Korean fried chicken and more (we ordered bibimbop and ttoboki as well). We enjoyed them all. The service was quick and friendly too. We'll definitely be coming back next time we're in town.“

“So....ended up at this place after going to a concert at Levi Stadium, heading home to the North Bay and needing some extra late night dinner. If you like Korean food the place won't disappoint. Had the army stew, which my 17 year old son had been wanting to try for a while now, plus some kimchi rice, short rib stew and a bowl of spicy edamame that the server brought us as a free treat. Service was amazing, especially for an after midnight visit. Next time we have to try Andy's fries because I saw someone at the table next to us order them and I'll he honest, they looked like late night foodie heaven.“

“Ordered the Soy Garlic and Sea Salt & Pepper wings. Since it was my first time, the employee gave me 4 of their signature wings on the house for free! Massive W. And all the wing flavors were delicious. Will come back again for sure! 💯“

“Food: one word, AMAZING. From banchan to tofu soup, everything tasted like I had in Korea. The flavors are spot on and portion is good. Their bibimpap is highly recommended!
Service: one of the warmest I’ve had in Bay Area for sure. The guy was very welcoming, attentive and helpful! Makes the overall dining experience better.
Ambiance: I love how the name of the restaurant and “delicious” in Korean is corresponded. Overall it’s casual but I hope the kitchen vacuum is better so we don’t get too stuffed by the smell.“

“The Kimchi Jjigae with glass noodles is unbeatable! I honestly prefer the kimchi jjigae here than a lot of restaurants in Korea… The servers are so sweet and attentive. I also recommend the fried dumplings; the sauce is so good! Prices are on the lower side so if you’re looking for a good bang for your buck, this is your spot!!“

“Oh my god, this place is a hidden gem! I love Korean cuisine and this place is by far one of the best!
We stumbled upon it by accident after getting a flat tire and were looking for food near the repair shop. The service was fantastic, and the food was amazing! I would easily travel a long distance just to come back here.“

“I only write reviews when it’s super good or super bad. My only regret is that I didn’t come to this place sooner! Super fresh, tasty, handmade food at peak of authenticity. What a hidden gem in Fremont. With this place around, I don’t need to go to Korea for such good food!
Just note it opens 7am-3pm.“

“One of the few authentic Korean restaurants in the Bay Area that doesn't skimp on the food! The Seolleongtang is delicious, but the Dogani Seolleongtang is incomparably rich and savory. The Doenjang Bibimbap truly deserves to be called a signature dish. I would also like to thank the staff for always treating customers with bright smiles and sincerity.“

“Great place to get a meal, whether you need a shopping break or are just in the area.
Well sized portions. Not too expensive.
I tried the saucy asian wrap with tofu. Very flavorful, gochujang aioli and spanish rice were the highlights. Seasoning was perfect.
Tortilla chips need more salt though.“
“Truly authentic Korean food!
It tastes exactly like the food I had back in Korea — comforting and full of real Korean flavor. I ordered kimbap and Korean fried chicken, and both were delicious. The kimbap was fresh, and the chicken was perfectly crispy and satisfying.
I got it to-go for my hotel, and even after it cooled down, it was still very tasty. Perfect for takeout and enjoying at a nearby park on a nice day. 🌿“

“SO. MANY. SIDE DISHES!!! It’s hard to find good authentic Korean food but this place has my seal of approval. The owners/servers speak Korean and I believe they are sisters, hence the name. They do their Soondubu (spicy tofu soup) and meat dishes right. Atmosphere and service is just okay, but really it’s about the food. Happy to eat here for a third time. They play golden age 80s-90s kpop which I loved.“

“Bob Sang Restaurant is a hidden gem near the Tesla plant in Fremont. So far, I've tried the Galbitang, Kimchi Jigae, Bulgogi, Spicy Pork, and the latest is Seoul Style Bulgogi – really great with very tender marinated beef – tasty!
Very friendly service with the small side dishes happily refilled. This restaurant has found its way into my list of regulars.“

“Hansang Tofu – The Hidden Gem of Milpitas 💎🇰🇷
This place is almost hidden in plain sight, tucked right behind the McDonald’s everyone in Milpitas knows. It’s one of those true “if you know, you know” spots that locals swear by.
My girlfriend and I have been coming here for a while now, and the reason we keep coming back is simple: quality. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care.
What We Ordered 🍽️
Special Combo #35 – Galbi & Seafood Tofu Soup (Medium Spicy)
The portions are on the smaller side, but honestly, they’re perfect for two people, just enough to leave you satisfied without feeling stuffed.
The Galbi is beautifully marinated and grilled to perfection with that irresistible sweet and savory balance and a hint of char.
The Seafood Tofu Soup is our favorite, clean, rich, and full of depth. It’s easily one of the best versions around.
Pairing these two together is a flavor explosion, comforting, savory, and perfectly balanced. Add in a scoop of rice and some kimchi, and it’s game over. 🔥
Mandu 🥟
Freshly fried to golden crispiness with a juicy pork filling inside. The vinegar-based dipping sauce cuts through the richness perfectly, it’s tangy, addictive, and keeps you reaching for more.
The Banchan (Side Dishes) 🥢
Hansang nails their banchan every single time. From the kimchi to the seasoned sprouts, everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. You know a Korean restaurant is good when even the side dishes shine.
If you’re looking for an authentic Korean spot that hasn’t blown up yet, this is it. Come now (or better yet, yesterday) before everyone else finds out. Huge thanks to the Hansang staff for always taking care of us and keeping the quality top-notch. 🙌🇰🇷“

“Great restaurant for authentic Korean Food. The location was filled with patrons. The other dishes I saw looked delicious. I had the Beef Soup with Seaweed and Egg. Along with Purple Rice and other sides. The food was amazingly good. This was my 2nd visit.“

“This is our go to place for korean food in Fremont for years. The food has been consistently good. We always order beef bulgogi & tofu soup combo for our family. We love the beef bulgogi. It has sweet savory sauce with tender beef. The tofu soup can be hit or miss. We got seafood white soup (not spicy) for our kiddo - it was good but I personally prefer medium spice for more depth of flavor.
The only downside was the parking. The parking was limited and got crowded during lunch or dinner time. So, most of the time we parked on the street nearby or we just do take out.“

“We went here with our 1 year old and it was a great experience! Staff was very friendly and the ambience was good too :)
We tried the heart attack sushi and the mango crunch sushi and both of them were very tasty.
Would definately recommend this place!“

“Tasty and plentiful Korean food. We had a great meal this evening again, having come here many years ago when or kids lived in Palo Alto.
The side dishes are delicious, and we were attended to very well by several servers asking us if everything was okay. They replenished the pickled cucumbers we really enjoyed and offered to bring more other sides.
We ordered edamame to start, followed by chicken bibimbop for my spouse and udon tofu bowl for me, medium spicy. Both of us were very satisfied with our orders.
I'd recommend this place to anyone who likes Korean food or who wants to try it.“

“Ttobongee is the KFC champ of the East Bay! 🏆🍗
If you’re hunting for the ultimate Korean Fried Chicken, this is the spot. The chicken is bomb—so crispy and tasty! Even the radish is spot-on (though the kimchi is just average). The shop itself is small but has a great outdoor patio. I love this place, but I do wish they would dress up the interior with some cool Korean chicken-pub style decor to match the amazing food. Definitely a must-try!“

“One of the best place for soft tofu soup. It’s always wonderful to have a bow of hot soup on a cold day.
The place is not too big but can seat a good amount of people due to efficient seating arrangements and ordering system. They take your order before you get your seat so by the time you seat down your food comes out almost at the same time. They always provide a few side dishes as well so it’s great to sample on them before your actual meal.
Their menu includes soft tofu, varieties of meat, and other Korean dishes like bibimbap. Their price is decent but could be on the expensive side if you try some meat dishes. We paid about $54 total for two with two sold tofu bowls.“

“If there was ever a Union City spot that deserved more attention it’d be this one. I’ve tried many things on the menu on various visits and have been satisfied every time; pretty much everything on the menu is solid, and the portions are great. The workers are very good about checking in on tables and can give recs for first timers.“

“Not only is the sushi fresh with generous amounts of fresh seafood, but the to-go containers are actually biodegradable! No massive amounts of single-use plastic containers that break your heart!!
I highly recommend Sushiko for their creative rolls, fresh ingredients, and eco-friendly to-go packaging! So grateful“

“I haven’t had Von’s Chicken for a very long time and I wanted to come back again because I was told that the chicken is super good there.
Honestly, I never step foot into their restaurant but had mines since my parents ordered a take out and come back home to eat their chicken. It’s my first time stepping in as of today. The interior looks alright. It’s just mediocre but at least they have pictures hanging on the wall. It’s not really a best place to really dine in unless you’re into quiet places.
I ordered lunch combo with Soy & Garlic boneless chickens with rice. I had no idea what that fruit was but it was colored light purple. They put the rice and chicken into one small container and the rice was sticky. The good news is that the chicken tastes really good. They really did put much effort into adding flavors to the chicken. I also like the fruit too. It came with a very small container and went with that first since I wanted to finish vegetables and fruits first.
The food is good but I don’t think it’s worth dining in especially if you’re into atmospheres. Yeah, I’ll try and order like a shareable versions of those chickens if I come back.“

“Had an excellent experience at Hungry Cow! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.
The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the portions were generous. It's hard to find anything to complain about because everything was done so well.
Overall, an outstanding dining experience. No complaints at all—just great food, great service, and great value. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Hungry Cow to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!“
“First visit to Stardust on a Saturday around 11 AM. There is a good amount of indoor seating. We tried the the purple moon (ube, taro, coffee), nutty by nature (black sesame, coffee), and strawberry collagen latte (strawberry puree, coffee, collagen foam). We all loved our drinks. The coffee is good and all of the flavor additions were tasty. The purple moon (ube taro) was the weakest of the bunch - it kind of tastes like an ube taro flavor you might get in milk tea so not very strong and generic. However, the nutty by nature was well balanced between the coffee and black sesame flavor. I could taste the black sesame, which was important to me. The strawberry latte was surprisingly good - I don't often think of coffee and strawberry being a combo. Overall, would definitely recommend coming here for coffee. There are food options as well but we didn't try any.“

“I like how juicy of the boneless is and garlic soy sauce is my forever favorite. The portion is huge, the small size can feed me up 3 meals. The service is fine, it takes longer time than usual to get my food ready. Anyway, I like this better than other brands now.“

“Lunch - 7/30
Ordered the Spicy Chicken BBQ, which was pretty yummy. It could have had a little more flavor, and some of the chicken got a little too charred on the sizzling plate, but it was still decent.
The bon chon was good. I liked the tofu bon chon and the Jap Chae.
Also ordered the tteokbokki (medium spicy), which was good too. I don't think I like it personal-preference-wise, but I can recognize it was well made.
Also, entrees like the Spicy Chicken BBQ had reduced prices for weekday lunch, so I recommend coming for lunch.
Overall, a decent spot. might come back again!“
