Originally from LA and whenever I’m in the mood for Korean food Gangnam Tofu is the spot! Tried other Korean restaurants in the Fremont/Newark area and none of them compare to the flavor and quality Gangnam Tofu provides. Delicious tofu soup, meats, and banchan!
Whenever I travel to my bestie’s place at Fremont we always stop by at this restaurant for their Tofu soup and generous portions of side dishes. Loved the spicy kimchi today and the host served extra kimchi ? Love how great the folks were at this place. Stopping by again next time!!

One of the best hidden gems in the neighborhood. You will definitely missed it if you don’t look for it. This Gangnam Tofu House is located in a small mall at the end of the Thornton Avenue. Owner and staff are super friendly and food is always good. If you can’t take too spicy, ask them to tone it down to your level and enjoy. I have been here many times and will go again.
