Kyain Kyain Reviews
Based on reviews, I ordered takeout of the Tea Leaf Salad (A5), Chicken Noodle Dry (M2) aka Kyay Oh with the oil on the side and vermicelli/thin rice noodles, Mandalay Noodle Salad (M13) came sauce on the side, and Samosas (A10).

Curry had great flavor. Spice level was no joke though. Ordered medium. Pretty sure it was closer to hot. Still finished it somehow.
A small but cozy Burmese restaurant with good, flavorful food at reasonable prices. Plenty of menu choices to suit different tastes. Parking can be a bit hit-or-miss, but the food and value make it worth the visit.

Kyain Kyain is a homey, family-owned restaurant that serves authentic Burmese cuisine. The menu includes a variety of dishes, such as the best Tea Leaf salad in the Bay Area, Kaiser (chicken in coconut curry with noodles), and flavorful noodle soups. The food is solid, with generous portions and affordable prices. The tea leaf salad is a standout, featuring a warm, crunchy, nutty, and savory blend of ingredients, while the tomatoes add extra freshness. The chicken curry is tender and flavorful, perfectly paired with paratha and pickled cucumber and radish. The crispy fried potato wrap is a unique appetizer, though it could benefit from more ingredients or spices. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and offers quick service, making it a great spot for those who want to try Burmese cuisine. The staff are friendly and welcoming, contributing to the homey charm. This place is highly recommended for those seeking genuine Burmese flavors at an affordable price, especially for locals who appreciate authentic cooking.
