We went to eat early lunchtime on a Thursday. The restaurant was located in an area I usually not visit. So it was a surprise when my friend suggested this area to eat. There were plenty of free parking spaces. The restaurant was open and clean and at this time of writing they have been in the business for about 11 years.

Came here for a friends birthday, it was a pretty novel experience and fun to eat with my hands. While the meat was cooked and prepared well, it was relatively fatty and heavy food somewhat akin to kbbq. The egg drop soup and the pancit were both very good, and in combination with the service and atmosphere, are the reason I'm giving this place a 5/5 instead a 4/5. I believe we all agreed that on a future visit, it would be better to order some of the more traditional menu items.
I had a really great experience at Isla Restaurant. The food was delicious and everything we tried was well prepared and full of flavor. One thing that really stood out was how welcoming they were. They even allowed our dog inside, which made the visit extra special.
