“We stopped by here randomly and had steak and chicken tacos. It was very delicious even though I do recommend the beef taco more. The spicy sauce is pretty spicy, but I highly recommend it. I definitely recommend having the tacos with the sauce.“
“This is a great Mexican place to dine on California Street. With that street closed for Al fresco dining, there are plenty of parking spots available in the adjacent streets with a free parking garage as well. I went there with my family on a Thursday evening for dinner. The place was relatively full and it was easy to get a table. We got ourselves Chicken Chalupas, Enchiladas Al Chipotle with chicken and Camarones a la diabla. The delivery was quite fast with the chalupas arriving within 10 minutes. There were 3 chalupas there and each tasted unique in its own flavor. The enchiladas were usual as I would expect them to be with chipotle sauce. The highlight of the dinner was the Shrimp dish with quite a kick of spicyness. For people with less interest in spicy food, this dish might not be for you. However, I liked it a lot and tasted quite unlike anything I have tried in Mexican cuisine. Overall, this place is a must try and we had great experience dining here.“
“I came here for a school field trip. The trip was amazing and super fun. Basically we tested their new robot system, and it was really cool. After we finished, we fought each other (the other kids). Also, the cafeteria was great, the “vending machines” were well stocked, and overall I had a great time. I wish I could go back and relive that day.“
“We treated ourselves to a nice dinner at Reposado. The food and the beverage were perfect: pancitta appetizer and pollo con mole for me, and ensalada Cesar appetizer and crepas con mariscos for my wife. We match those with margaritas (spicy for me, and classic for my wife). The waiting staff was attentive and efficient. The noise level was relatively high, which is typical for this place.“
“Recommendations: All dishes! They’re good! Me? I was looking for Steak Fajitas.Server did great with leading me to fajitas options under Shrimp Fajitas. Perfect! I had myself Steak Fajitas. Great portion comes with tortillas rice, beans, and the work. The atmosphere is culturally AWESOME! Place is beautiful.Their service timing is above and beyond.“
““Experience” lunch was advertised on Open Table but not mentioned in the restaurant. We asked askedour server said they were no longer offering it. Because we asked, we were able to get the deal! Food was very fresh; tacos served with a variety of sauces - they should be labeled! Waiters don't write down orders to enter into the electronic ordering system. He had to ask twice and there was an error in one order, which they promptly corrected. We were there during a quiet time and service was very attentive.“
“Food was the best part of this placeHigh chairs were very uncomfortable for a table of six and we could not hear each other - if their goal was quick turn around - it worked ?Guacamole was really good, torta Cuba was delicious, quesabria was really tasty w lots of meet - stayed hot...“
“This grocery store is a gem! I love the masa to make the corn tortillas . You can pick up a 5 lb bag at the meat counter or if you don't need that much you can tell the meat clerks you only need 2 lbs and they will reduce it. If you need a lot for a certain event, call in or let the register know and they will take your info. I bought a tortilla press here and the store offers two kinds. The produce section is very clean and lots of assorted drinks . I really enjoy the small restaurant inside and order the soup or some tacos. The tamales are really good here too.“
“The best carnitas tacos around. Moist, juicy slow roasted and tender. Good portions. Two will do. Other meat and chicken are good as well. Very consistent and the Chef has been there for years. He loves his work and always has a smile for everyone.“
“Definitely one of the best taquerias I've had the pleasure of eating at in a very long time. The food is way above average good! And they do not skimp the portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be back for lunch.“
“We tried a beef and chick, with black beans, Spanish rice, onion, sour cream, and lettuce burritos from this place Taqueria and were very satisfied. The serving was also on the generous side and lucky enough we were hungry on that occasion.“
“This is the Best, freshest Mexican food I've eaten in Palo Alto, Peninsula and South Bay. Definitely underrated! I've been to many restaurants and Lulu's is by far the best. After eating this you can feel your body energized with excellent nutrition. I can't believe how many people give poor reviews that have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of food nor the customer service. I been to this place about a dozen times and every time I visit, Always consistent, fresh and delicious. Erica and the crew are always welcoming and friendly. I worked in the restaurant industry for 25+ years and the service is always impeccable. ? I came in today to buy food for my family whom my sister is at Stanford ICU and Erica was truly compassionate about my sister's well being. I wish there was more people like Erica who love what they do and show care for others in the world. I want to express my gratitude to all of the team and Erica for showing love to my family and delivering the quality of food they produce to keep us healthy. I'll be forever customer for now on! Thank you Lulu's for hiring a wonderful friendly staff. They treat you like family and that's the kind of family/business I rather give my money to. Once again Thank you from heart to yours! Stay Blessed“
“As soon as I walked in, I was greeted nicely and took a look at the menu. I ordered the chimichanga (carnitas) and the mole enchiladas. The food was amazing and the salsa bar had a nice selection of salsa (from mild to hot). Yesenia was very quick on the register and the place was nice and clean. Thank you for the fast and friendly service. Remember that they only accept cash!“
“A little cramped inside for eating but there is a back dining room and outdoor seating both in front and back. Make your order and they will bring it to your table.Hot salsa wasn't that hot next time I'll try the extra-hot. Fountain drinks and a few bottled Mexican sodas.Prices are about the same as everywhere else now, you're gonna pay around $12 for a super burrito. I had al pastor which was good. I will go back back, my favorite used to be El Conrro, Sancho's is a bit better. You can park by CVS or there are some spots in back.“
“The food is wonderful. My only complaint with a place is that it is pricey, and maybe overpriced for what it is. That said, it is very very delicious food. We came here for happy hour. I would say the happy hour selections are not terrific. We were happier when we got a table and ordered off the regular menu. The appetizer that is simply melted cheese is marvelous. And the tacos were delicious, but as I said probably overpriced. And the desserts were lovely. I hope this place makes it, but I think they need to have a better happy hour with good deals.“
