“Stopped by Taqueria Patzcuaro in Sunnyvale for lunch on a Monday and it did not disappoint. The line was huge when I got there, but the service was surprisingly fast — they move through the crowd efficiently. The meat on my tacos was amazing, generous portions, and packed with flavor. On top of that, it’s cheaper than most taco spots in the area. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic, well-priced tacos. Their al pastor is amazing! Also the grilled pearl onions is something I have never had elsewhere. Definitely a repeat for me. Three tacos and a drink was $13.“

“I've tried several taco places trying to find some super delicious ones, but this one always tops them (even though there are days when something goes wrong). They have a simple menu, freshly made tortillas, and no added oil, a variety of salsas, I love a super spicy one that's red (I think it's made with árbol chili).

“So, the recipes are long time family recipes. the Southern Mexico dishes are the ones to try! the red mole and the piping and pibil are amazing. The best red mole in my opinion. If you are watching Like Water for Chocolate, come check out some of the dishes in the movie! The Chile Nogada is good but I like it with Sour Cream on the side.“

“Best tacos in star idaho. Others complain there's too much flavor. Honestly they must have never had authentic Mexican food. Flavor is right. Heat level is perfect. Try it for yourself.
Probably the best burrito I've had in the Treasure Valley. Ordered a carne Asada burrito supreme. Meat was perfectly seasoned and the salsa has a nice flavor. The food truck was parked at Helina Marie's wine bar in Star tonight. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for them in the future. Highly recommend“

“I'm gonna really regret letting everyone know about one of my favorite spots cuz then it's gonna be popular, BUT I can't hide this one, not only do I want to see their business thrive, but I have to tell the community about the savings to be had with this place. In a world 🌎 full of 75 dollars for 2 burger meals, we have La Mexiqueña, I can get 2 Super quesadilla plates, it's called Super Quesadilla on the menu but trust me, it's a plate, you get your delicious authentic rice and beans, your yummy salad with avocado, lettuce and tomatoes, and a big ol' quesadilla with your meat (or no meat) choice, it comes with corn or flour tortilla, the corn tortilla one is aaaamaaazing. Big slices of quesadilla loaded with cheese also. So let me tell you, I got 2 of those orders okay, plus a tall size Mexican Coke... 34 bucks, ahahahahaha, 34 bucks!!!! And it filled us uP! “Put a DD order in 45 minutes before closing on a Sunday. Picked up the hot fresh food on time. Had reg. quesadillas, the 2 for 1 chilaquiles plate and french fries. Everything was great and was packaged with care. Nice and spacious restaurant layout. Professional service.“

“We are locals and found El Camino Cantina and are so happy we did!
It was a hot day and were hoping to find a pet friendly restaurant and they were perfect!
Indoor with ac and I asked twice if our 2 dogs were allowed inside and they were!

Danny the bartender was professional, hospitable and made us feel very welcome (plus provided water for our doggies).
The Happy Hour had a good selection of food and drinks and the prices were reasonable (the regular menu was good too).
We had the chips and dip (3 flavors of dip), and the street tacos.
I have to say, the Carnitas tacos were the best I have had in a long time, tender, crispy and so tasty! A big shout-out to Manny the chef!
We will be returning for more of those!

FYI - The Cantina is at a hotel with a pool, so we're planning on a stay-cation.

This bad boy was packed with flavors that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance. And don't even get me started on the spicy salsa they hook you up with. That stuff is the cherry on top, giving everything an extra kick that'll wake you right up.
The second I got close to the truck, the smell hit me like a delicious punch to the face.

“I’ve been eating at El Caminito twice a week (one lunch and one dinner) since 1998. I recently discovered a menu item I had not tried before, the chili relleno Del Mar. It is absolutely delicious! And whereas most of their dishes come with about a tablespoon of shredded lettuce with French dressing, this one has a proper side salad. I love French dressing and El Caminito is the only restaurant I found in the bay area that serves it, so to be able to get it on a real salad is a treat. The presentation is the most appealing of any of the dishes I have tried on their menu and the flavor is simply wonderful. The service is excellent (Hi, Stephany, Andrea, Gloria and Gabriela!) and prices are reasonable. They keep winning Best of Bay Area awards from the San Jose Mercury News and it’s easy to see why. They also have an excellent catering program, so get your company to hire them for your next function!“

“Best burritos I’ve had in the Bay Area, served toasted fresh and packed with a blend of flavors from the fajitas, rice, beans, pico and salsa and each adding their own element to every bite with the crispy tortilla. The salsas are quite spicy and served on the side but irresistible as well despite the burn on the tongue and mouth if you’re into that - if not the burrito is tasty enough by itself :)

“I drive by here all the time and I always see a huge line and today I happen to catch them when they had a very short wait time. Impulsively I decided to stop and wait and I’m so happy I did. The food was great.. five stars out of five stars. I am impressed.“

Some quick notes! This (plus Corazon) are our Mexican mainstays in the area.

++ Insane grilled chicken. Chicken usually just average but this is an outlier.

- Shrimp tough and mostly flavorless.

+ Churros are good but cream filled churros are next level.

+ Cute interior. It's never been crowded when I'm here.

+ They control how many little containers of salsa you get (you ask when ordering -- they're not out) but she always gives me 3-4 more containers than I ask for. Love the chipotle cream sauce. I put it on everything. I've tried to buy bottles of chipotle cream sauce and they don't compare.

+ Carne Asada plate is awesome. Lots of carne asada, eggs, beans, Mexican rice. Soooo tasty.

+ Decent prices.

Salsas (in order of mild to spiciest):
* Red, chunky.
* Green, clear. Pleasantly acidic. Fresh tasting. Tastes like tomato.
* Red, smoother. Incredibly smoky, like drinking an old attic. Kick.
* Green, creamy looking. Less acidic, hints of cilantro.“

My wife craved Taco Bell a lot while she was pregnant, but I haven't been here since my son was born 7 months ago, and the second Liliana saw me her face lit up and she asked how my wife and baby are, so I shared the latest pictures with her.
