“This is a place to stop by once in a while, the food is good, service almost good, but on the weekends gets to crowded and since they sell hard liquor most of the times there’s drunk guys, and even that they state that is a family restaurant it is still some drunk people and that’s not a good example for kids, but if you wanted to take the food to go I totally recommended cause there’s food that you don’t find easily somewhere else.“

“I didn't know about this place until I did a deep dive on Reddit. This little hole in the wall is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants that I have ever been to. Being open since 1986, they know their way around a birria. I ordered a birria chivo burrito and I had to take breaks between bites to appreciate the flavor. I even thought about the food on the drive home. Even as I'm writing this, I crave another burrito. I ordered a carne asada burrito to take home, and even that was superb.“

“Great prices, and they have fresh meats. Besides the fair pricing, the butcher meat guy bringing quality meat is the food they make daily. The burgers are delicious, and the birria is my favorite. I walked in once for meats and they hsd ran out, and told me the carnicero (meat guy) arrived until 6pm. I like that the meat isnt injected with preservatives making it look fresh for longer than normal. Plus he offers to ore season it for you, perfectly ready for the grill. Convenient.“

I ordered a regular chicken burrito with no beans as wanting something light. It came out perfect. They brought out chips and salsa to my table on the patio. Was a great Saturday morning relax outside with some shade.

“The food was really good quality, lots of meat, tasted authentic, and good portions for the price. Sauces were also good with a mild kick. I appreciate when places provide extras like this place does with the extra onions, radish, jalapeños, and bean tacos. Consommé was really good too. Didn't wait too long for my order and it was convenient that I could pay with card, some taco trucks are cash only which can be difficult. Overall a really good experience and would definitely recommend.“

“TBH I was hesitant at first to eat at Acopia. As a vegan, most Mexican restaurants do not usually have options for me. Their menu is somewhat minimal and limited, so entered with few expectations or hopes that I could order anything more than a salad. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The owner came to our table and was most accommodating. I ordered a succulent nopales salad, street corn and some delicious blue corn sopes de calabasita (zucchini and flower). It was all quite tasty and I was even more surprised when she brought out some vegan mayo AND vegan cheese to top off my food with more flavor. The atmosphere is very modern and simply styled, mirroring their “chic” food menu. I found the food delicious though a bit on the bland side, but was grateful that they came through for me and my vegan diet. I left sated and happy that I could fully participate in the meal alongside my meat-eating friends. The owner was very thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of choices to order. Although it was a bit pricey, I will definitely go back again. The modern ambiance, the attentive service and the fancy yet rustic food combined to make a lovely evening meal.“

“Pretty dang good tamales overall at a good price point to boot.

Service was good and friendly, had one of each of their pork, chicken, and spicy short rib tamales.

Chicken was a lot better then most places I've had and their short ribs one was good too. Pork was a tad dry but still fine.

All in all would recommend.“
