“Great location for lunch with reasonable prices as compared to the rest of campus. The food isn't amazing, but it is still good for lunch and quick. The staff is always great and accommodating. If they take food menu requests, I would absolutely love it if they carried Sonoran dogs at this location!!!“
“Daniel, who took my order over the phone was super polite and accommodating! I ordered one of my favorite items, the Hawaiian Teriyaki Bowl with brown rice. I had just tested Covid positive, and Daniel was willing to let me drive up with a mask on, and open the trunk where he put my order!“
“Update - new vegan empanadas are great! They are filled with mushroom and vegan feta, very filling and tasty. They have always had vegan options since they opened, delicious plantains rice and beans. It's a local small business with an owner who cares. They added vegan meats now as an option which was something I've been asking for. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-24“
“In search of a late lunch and the gorditas here caught my attention. Order comes with 2, and I went with the chicharon. May look small, but it was filling. Loved the texture of the crispy masa shell. Flavors of the inside was good, too - would've liked more of the chicharon. I'd definitely return as there are other menu items I'd like to try.“
“We ate at La Viga Seafood & Cocina Mexicana. It was nice. I thought it would be a bit fancier because I saw it recommended somewhere. The seafood dish with different kinds was really good, especially the shrimp. The tacos cost $6 each, which seemed a lot, but they tasted great. The chips were the best part—they were not greasy and very crunchy. They gave us two kinds of sauce; the green one was the best. The cold beer was also really good with the food. Even though I expected something a bit different, we liked it a lot and want to go back to try more dishes.“
“For a taco truck, Paper Platez is a fine choice! Tacos, burritos, and quesadillas are all good. I haven't yet tried their tamales or pupusas. They have some picnic benches under a tent canopy. (Does that count as "dine in?") Or take it to go and walk to the nearby Heritage Park which has picnic benches.Right in front of O'Malleys there are a couple handicapped parking spaces. It's a tight spot to turn around given the tent. So if you don't have a handicapped placard, enter the driveway just north of the taco truck for parking.Parking: Pull in to the driveway just north of the taco truck. There is also about 3 parking spaces on the south side, right in front of O'Malleys. Note that most or all of those are handicap spaces, and the room to get in and out is cramped.Wheelchair accessibility: The menu is on a screen that's positioned low enough for wheelchair riders. The counter is higher up but they handle that well.“
“Very interesting place, I would say very Mexican, but don’t quote me on that, because never been in Mexico. We got chips and salsa for free as a starter. We asked also for water. We ordered this new dish with instant noodles, which can come in different spice levels, but it was a bit too salty and sour for our taste. It came with 2 side quesadillas. For the steak, it was quite good, we got a fresh corn bread. And you can ask for souses, there are 4 different ones and the green was really good, very lime like:) we also got Shrimp tortillas, they were delicious!Wheelchair accessibility: You can use wheelchair inside“
“My son and I were Eating beef and steak tacos and the tacos were great but could have a bit more spice, the service wasn't bad either we got our food in a minute or two and the tacos were different than any other tacos we have tasted and the salsas were great btw we will come back soon.Great foodTacos differ ncwSalsas was goodWe will come back“
“We live in the neighborhood, and simply love this place. Service, food, family atmosphere is great. Really a great experience, and hope that they become a permanent part of the community. Might be a great place for Saturday afternoon meal after a nice bike ride through the valley. We really appreciate the people who work here. Best of luck to them !“
“Where to begin with La Familia? Truly one of my favorite food trucks... everything deserves 5 stars. My go to is usually the carnitas torta but the birria is also very hard to beat! Be sure to wash it down with the tamarind agua fresca Not only that but the service is perfect. They are so sweet and friendly! side note: they also do catering so i recommend checking them out if you're in need of a caterer“
“This was a special treat because I hadn't decided on where to eat and we figured that's pop in here when the other place that I wanted to go was full and so it was a pleasant Experience for all that it served -- great food, great ambience, lovely presentation and very pleasant folks who attended to our every request. While we were having brunch I wasn't too keen on having a tequila; which is part of what they also offer and they have their own distillery and make some of the finest mescal according to the owner who was also there. Overall a great place for any occasion. #TheBrokerWithAHeartParking: Small lot which fills up fast.“
“I absolutely love this place, the food is great, good quality and reasonably priced.I frequently order for lunch or dinner, and food is always SO GOOD.Visited the place for the first time and is a very clean place, with good energy, and these lovely ladies that were on top of my order and treated me like a queen.Highly recommend the Super Burritos (is my favorite dish here) and quite unique, have not found another place as good as them.“
“Totally enjoy meal with family here - the service was brisk & cheerful, the food was well & the tostadas and wraps were light, crispy, tasty ….. had to go for my half portion as it was a big plate. Love the chips & salsa dips.“
“One of the best tacos in the South Bay. Please go out of your way to come this particular Lopez Taqueria location. The others are just not as good. The al pastor marinade was unique from other taco spots and had depth. The lengua tacos here are my favorite in the South Bay. It had a unique sauce it was stewed in and the texture is perfect. I like my lengua with a little chew and this was right up my alley. The chile verde was tender (and not the dry kind of tender). It was slow cooked and moist while the other location felt like it was boiled hard. Carnitas tasted good, it's standard, not the best I've ever had. Avoid the fish tacos - it's just bunch of dry fish sticks on a tortilla, not a big piece of juicy fish like most people expect. I like how they have chili oil on the tables. It adds a nice smokey touch. I wish they had orange sauce like the other taco spots in SJ (Spartans, La Vics, etc). The service here is extremely friendly. I come here pretty occasionally and the food is consistent. I'll definitely be back!“
“Six stars! After greeting us, our waiter asked if we had any allergies--so appreciated since I have celiac. He told me they are careful about cross-contamination, don't use shared friers, and can make most things on the menu gluten free (menu is well-marked, too). Our tastey food and drinks came out almost immediately, and we weren't sitting around forever waiting to pay when we were ready. The whole staff was cheerful, the space had cool decorations, and the interior was naturally lit. Such a nice date brunch spot.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan marked on the menu, plenty of optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free marked on the menu, plenty of options, celiac friendly kitchen practices“
“Don't get me wrong, this was a good place to eat, even without a sweeping 5 stars. The location is pretty out of the way compared to a city, but was close to the job we were on. The client that took us there was familiar with the menu and was known to the waitress. The menu had all the usual entrees, so I picked some enchiladas to be safe. They were delicious. I think I'd you're in the area this would be a good choice for a meal. I would recommend it and I would return.“
“I am from Texas and we have amazing Mexican food there, but las chiquitas exceeded my expectations! I had the chicken chile relleno, and it was delicious! I love their pozole too’ you can’t go wrong with this place! Great food, prices and service!“
“Phenomenal tacos!!!! So much flavor and fresh ingredients. Great serving sizes, great price! Ordered a Carne Quesadilla and 2 chicken tacos! Not sure what the drink was, but it’s pineapple flavored and delicious as well!! Highly recommend!!“
“I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Their food is exceptional and their service is 10/10. They recognized me from a previous time and comped my meal because they gave me the wrong order last time. Thank you so much, guys! My favorite Mexican spot from now on. Homemade tortillas are also amazing!“
“Stopped by this place to grab some dinner, and their "wet style" super burrito sounded like just the thing. Me and my girlfriend both got one with different meat options to split. The service was not particularly friendly, but that may not be the case if you happen to speak fluent Spanish. So, your mileage may vary there. That said, we were absolutely not prepared for how super the "super burrito" actually was haha. You can see in the pictures I took, the burritos were enormous. They were really good, though! Just prepare yourself for one of the largest burritos you've ever seen in your life if you order the super burrito.“
“Near a curve on a four line road is an eclectic older Mexican restaurant with artistic merit, interesting landscaping outdoor dining and several different kinds of tables and chairs indoors, including a bar.The menu has several options many of which I had not seen in Mexican food places before. I have tried their tamales, chili relleno, black beans, pinto beans, rice, grilled chicken, quesadilla, pico, guacamole, and the provided chips and salsa. All of the flavors are excellent. The green sauce and masa of the tamale, and the firm aged relleno cheese filling were outstanding.Indoors is Mexican music, while outdoors there is traffic noise. The tortilla chips are the thin triangle bagged kind. The restroom has an old sink and fixtures. But the custom artwork, high ceilings with paper fiesta decor and painted furniture are classic south of the border. The seats are all flat wood, no cushions. No sauce bar or extra hot sauce present. Will need another visit to try the mole.Vegetarian options: Enchiladas are great.“
“Their tacos hit a little different. It’s hard to explain but their flavor and salsa combination on their tacos resonate with me. Give them a shot, get at least 1 taco, customize it how you like, if you don’t like spice, ask for green salsa. Prices haven’t gone up over the years, great restaurant.“
“One of the most authentic mexican restaurants I have tried in the bay so far.I got the chicken enchilada which was super yummy. The portions are generous for the price.Specially love the variety of self serve salsas they have. Also liked the ambiance of the restaurant which does justice to the type of cuisine served.Would recommend dining.“
“Literally a HOLE in the wall spot lol. Service was quick and easy, wait times were reasonable and there is a lot of parking. Because they only do takeout, it's easy to pop in and out. The Beef Birria was so good; full of flavor and meaty. The taco was thick and cheesy. So glad we found this! I highly recommend this place!“
“Updating my older review: I've been coming here for years, since it's a reliable place with fair prices and quality food. (Sometimes I eat here once a week when I'm in town for work). In recent months, though, I've noticed a subtle change. The tomatillo soup (a longtime favorite) is now thinner, with less flavor. I've still been ordering it, but it's not what it was. And now, tonight, the bowl had substantially less soup- about 3/4 of what it usually is. And I also noticed the burrito was a little bit smaller. I'm always satisfied and don't get hungry for the rest of the night after eating here, but not this time. Shrinkflation? Hmmm. I give 4 stars, but I hope they continue the great quality and portions that I've grown to rely on at Aqui. If so, I'll gladly give them 5 stars again.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families with kids here.“
“Food was great. Filled with fantastic flavors. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Many great options to choose from. From a burrito, enchiladas, or the bowls.Kid-friendliness: Has many great food for kids. The quesadilla was great as well a the enchiladas.“
“3/16/24.... update. recently their salsa roja has been watery and lacking in flavor. not sure what is going on but the last 6 purchases as been a little lack luster and somewhat disappointing..... bummeralways get the salsa roja. the burritos and refried beans are great. chips and salsa...the best“
“I love their tacos and grilled chicken burritos. Every time I go there I get their super burritos and some tacos on the side. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for some delicious tacos and burritos!Parking: Can park at the parking lot and on the street right by the taco truck.“
“The caldo de pollo (Monday's only) and caldo de res (Tuesday and Friday only) here is amazing. Agua fresca flavors are delicious too. If you go there for lunch dine in, it's best to go early or later (not exactly at 12) or get takeout.“
“Stopped at Regan's to shop for some roses and noticed that this highly rated taco truck was parked next door. Decided to give it a whirl. Ordered tacos dorado (a crispy shell and a soft torilla with melted cheese in between), one asada and one al pastor. They were a tad on the salty side, but were the perfect balance of succulent, juicy and crisp. I couldn't get the best read on the flavor of the proteins since there were so many elements going on, but I didn't come across any pieces of gristle so that is a good sign that they are using quality product. Recommended.“
“Do not order online. You will not receive an itemized receipt, or an email confirmation, and you will be charged $2 for the "convenience" of ordering online, which is actually more convenient for the vendor.I ordered four tacos and did not get even a few chips with it, and had to practically beg for enough salsa for the tacos. And the tip jar was pushed into my face before I even saw the food. Incredibly rude.“
“Fantastic food truck with a unique mix of Mexican and French dishes. The chicken tacos were amazing - fresh and flavorful. The beignets were also delicious - nice and airy. The chef has experience cooking at a French restaurant, and that shows in the quality of the French items.“
“The menu at Rincon Sabroso is a masterpiece in itself, showcasing a wide range of dishes that highlight the richness of their cuisine. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients were evident in every bite. I had the pleasure of sampling several dishes, and each one was a work of art.“
“Good flavors. Awesome costumer service. Relatively inexpensive prices for the portion sizes. Several indoor seats & a nice patio. The patio isn’t heated, so probably best on a sunny and/or warmer day. Overall solid taqueria restaurant in the area — would love if they had an expanded drink menu beyond soft drinks.“
“The guajillo sauce is reason enough to come here, but everything we've tried here is amazing. This is my favorite Mexican place.Great upscale food, excellent atmosphere. The decor inside is gorgeous. During nice weather, the outside seating area is very nice as well.I've been coming here for more than 10 years now and it is always excellent.“
“Great tasting tacos, enchiladas, burritos - and excellent value. Pastor, carne asada, camarones, tripas-yes, yes, yes, yes! Good, fast, friendly service. Parking can be tricky at Chevron, so park at McD's. They're only open until 5pm, so get your taco fix early.“
“Delicious, fast, and friendly. Exactly what you want in a taco truck. I got the bean burrito and taco plate. To me, if they can care enough for the simple items to make them good, everything else has the potential to be great. Will definitely be back“
“The food is delicious- consistently. It is a bit of a hole in the wall , but again delicious food. My only gripe is the consistency with the cashiers. One time in particular, one of the brothers was training a new girl and she didn’t ring in one taco i ordered. Once my food arrived and I noticed , the brother said I wasn’t charged and when I went to pay with my card he enforced the minimum card purchase rule. This was extremely annoying because 1. This was the their error 2. I’m a regular. He should have either made an exception or given me the taco at no charge . Instead I got no taco . This made me not go back for over a year. This lack of customer service could really detour business. I have not had an issue since starting back and the food is just delicious“
“First time here. Got a Rusa and a strawberry crepe. The Rusa is delicious. There is so much packed into one thing (pineapple, mango, orange, tamarindo straw, chammoy, tajin and squirt, and it is so delicious. Tart, sweet, sour, and most importantly, refreshing. The crepe was soft and warm. Freshly made, too. Next time i go, I'll definitely try the ice cream. They have so many flavors to choose from. The staff were very polite and attentive. I'm coming back for sure and you should go too.Bonus points: 2 pictures of Sonic the Hedgehog on the wall.“
“Standard taqueria fare, but very high quality. Super fast and friendly service. Meat and tortillas are top notch. The chile oil is amazing and really sets them apart. Fair warning, it's sooo spicy... it will hurt you. It's worth it though.“
“We wandered in to Milagros for lunch and were soon greeted and taken to the cute patio area. We ordered chips and salsa, and got three delicious salsas and a bucket of fantastic tortilla chips. My niece had a fish taco and I had the chicken taquitos. She loved her taco, and the taquitos were absolutely perfect. Jose 'el diablo', ? was our waiter. He was entertaining and likeable, very sweet and funny. The service was beyond reproach.“
“I can't say enough good things about this Mexican restaurant. The service was outstanding, with a staff that treated us like family. The food was a true Mexican culinary journey – the mole sauce on the chicken enchiladas was rich and flavorful, and the churros for dessert were the perfect ending to a delicious meal. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with vibrant colors and artwork that transported us to Mexico. It's a must-visit for any food enthusiast!“
“I used to love this place. They had the best margaritas and in town. But over the years they got greedy, prices keep going up and quality going down. Even service isn't what it used to be. It's still one of the most iconic Mexican joints in Mountain View, but I feel less inclined to keep visiting them as time goes by.Vegetarian options: Veggie burrito in a bowl is pretty decent.“
“Love this place so much. We just discovered it, and have been twice. They have lots of good options, and everything is seasoned so well. It also tastes low salt, which is great for my family. This is our go-to Mexican. It's super relaxed, order at the counter.“
“Elvis for Lunch! Pliny draft beer! First Wednesday of the month! FUN, Friendly crowd sang & danced as we had delicious Fries, Chili, Pulled Pork & coleslaw- Salads ? good!Parking: Small lot, plenty of street parkingKid-friendliness: Family friendly with kid menu items! Decor is makes for. Great game of “I Spy”Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access- accommodating respectful, friendly customers.“
“As a vegetarian who craves authentic Mexican food, this restaurant has become my go-to spot.My personal favorites include theFiesta Enchiladas (it’s tangy) and Grandma's Special Enchiladas. The Burrito Puya Burrito (little spicy) is another standout.“
“The owner gave us an excellent service, he is very nice and polite, food is delicious, my husband ordered a combo taco plate, we get a carne asada taco for our baby and I ordered enchiladas michoacanas it take a little long to get our food but it was worth it, definitely we recommend it.“
“When you see there is always a line of Mexican people waiting for food, you know you should check out the place. I usually get their lengua tacos, and I recently tried their California burrito, I really like the crunchy fries in it my only complaint was the portion of carne asada in it, a little stingy in my opinion. I think I will stick to their tacos in the future“
“It was absolutely delicious. My only pick is the cost of the food, but what do I expect as a visitor of Stanford. Anyways, I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, 5/5.The restaurant feels a lot like a street food place; a bit more hidden from the eyes of the public.“
