“The burrito was okay. The good is the size — it’s pretty big. The bad part is the taste for me. The chicken had too much BBQ sauce and wasn’t fresh I think. I didn’t finish it because it was very mid. Nachos were good. I think if you are in between choices at that place, get something but burrito because my colleagues got other food and liked it more.“

“By far my favorite place to eat on campus, if not in all of Palo Alto. For how affordable it is, the quantity and quality of food you get is unparalleled. My favorite items are the chicken burrito bowl, the Aztec salad, and the pastrami banh mi, all of which are between $11 and $12 after tax. Oftentimes, one burrito bowl will last me lunch and dinner. “It's inside the building for graduate students to meet and attend certain activities. They offer a variety of food with reasonable prices. There's no table service. After done eating, you need to bring your own plates to the collection trays. Good place to grab something if you're on campus but too far away from the tresiddor union. There are not many places open on weekends. This is one of those.“

It is a gas station with limited parking there ara a couple of tables and chairs but it's mostly to go.

The green salsa is the best, super spicy if you don't like spicy don't even try that one, the one on the top right corner is the nonspicy.“

“I have been here a couple of times. Today, I asked by an order of three al pastor and one of chorizo. But when paying I did not realized the chorizo one was not included. When received the order I noticed chorizo was missing but was not charged neither. So the person kindly told me no worries I will do it now. And when I was going to pay he was don't worries is ok. “Walked over from my hotel during a business trip. Unassumingly in a strip mall, the inside is bright and colorfully decorated. The margarita was very tasty - I'm not sure what was added beyond the usual recipe, but it had something extra and was delicious. The enchiladas and relleno were also tasty and the servings were large - I was too stuffed for dessert. Did see a number of tables with happy young kids, so I assume the kids' menu is good too.“

“Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. I know it seems like I’m exaggerating, but it’s really that good! My only wish is that they had seating nearby & a second location closer to Oakley.“

The majority of their dishes are elote based. They do not have your typical tacos and burritos but I have an obsession with all types of street corn so I had to give it a shot.

I got the papa elote with steak. It was HUGE and delicious. I added a bit of salt but other than that I loved it. I did not finish it at lunch but had more for dinner that night. It reheats well. I still have some leftover and will likely bring it with me for my work lunch tomorrow!

I only gave the food 5 stars because a) the price (20 bucks for the potato with steak, I think it was 14 or 15 without). Although, in retrospect, since this is now going to be 3 meals for me, the price is fairly reasonable !!! B) the lack of other options. While I'm really into street corn, the rest of my family is not. So this will prevent me for visiting this establishment more frequently.“

“Amazing house made tortillas, thicker and puffier than normal. Note that the portion sizes here are huge so don't be turned off by the prices. The regular taco is probably the same as 2-3 normal sized tacos and you get your money's worth for sure.

“I had a regular burrito at Mexcal Taqueria and it definitely hit the spot. The tortilla tasted fresh, the ingredients were well balanced, and everything was packed with flavor without being overdone. You can tell they care about the quality of the food. His tequila selection was a pleasant surprise with some rare gems, and he makes a margarita so good my wife mandated a weekly visit. He did not skip a beat on the service side, which is why we followed him to his new place. We met some friends for dinner and had a large party, and he and his entire staff were on top of every table making sure everyone was well taken care of. The place seems small, but it is deceptive and very quaint with a nice bar and 2 separate seating areas inside with a nice, spacious patio area outside. Seems like he picked a gem of a location! They're parked up on the curb where the car wash is so no parking lot but you can park on the street but be careful when crossing because people drive a bit reckless in the area and aren't paying much attention.

“I saw a worker from another place come back from break holding a churro. I had to ask where, this shop was two doors down. First I ordered the churro and then I saw the fun ice cream varieties. Settled on a refreshing soursop, it had seeds! My friend got a dried fruit and he said that grew on him. There are many other flavors to try next time. Service was nice, there are a couple of tables to sit and eat other snacks that they make as well. PS the churros were OK, crispy and sweet but the middle was not as crispy as fresh out of a fry vat in Mexico.“

It's across the CVS since Google seems to have changed the location pin for the taco truck for some odd reason to next to the tandoori pizza place. I told someone about it and they couldn't find it.“
