We had a reservation for 5 but were seated at a 4-top with five placemats at it...not ideal but we made it work. I think they were a little understaffed as it took a while to get drinks, waters, etc. But they were quite busy. The food is excellent...fresh, flavorful, interesting. The service was better on a previous visit when the restaurant wasn't as crowded. I will definitely go back.
One of my favorite restaurants, ever. Always the same crew, small kitchen, small menu, satisfying food. I love the cochinita pibil because it's not replicable at home and their tacos with homemade corn tortillas. If you're gluten free this restaurant is safe!!! The horchata is more complicated with coconut milk, and the michelada is my husband's fave. The cauliflower appetizer is comforting and vegan!
