“I live on the east bay but work in the peninsula. Was craving birra tacos and found them on yelp. My husband has food allergies but was willing to try the chicken soft tacos. I brought everything home across the 92. He didn't have an allergic reaction! He loved them so much, he asked me to buy them again afterwards work the next day! The birra tacos were delicious as well! The consume (dipping) is really good! Everything was wrapped nicely and still warm by the time I got home. The second day I tried a chicken burrito and that was delicious as well! I highly recommend!”

“In search of a late lunch and the gorditas here caught my attention. Order comes with 2, and I went with the chicharon. May look small, but it was filling. Loved the texture of the crispy masa shell. Flavors of the inside was good, too - would've liked more of the chicharon. I'd definitely return as there are other menu items I'd like to try.”

“What a great discovery for me! I was waiting to order a sandwich close by, but it was taking too long. So, I walked over to Big Brothers Burgers and ordered the classic with fries. Wow! It was so huge yet delicious! Great service, and the ambiance was nice too. Highly recommend!”

“We ate at La Viga Seafood & Cocina Mexicana. It was nice. I thought it would be a bit fancier because I saw it recommended somewhere. The seafood dish with different kinds was really good, especially the shrimp. The tacos cost $6 each, which seemed a lot, but they tasted great. The chips were the best part—they were not greasy and very crunchy. They gave us two kinds of sauce; the green one was the best. The cold beer was also really good with the food. Even though I expected something a bit different, we liked it a lot and want to go back to try more dishes.”

“We had a great dinner with old friends and it was quiet enough to actually hear each other! Beautiful spot by the water, great service, and the food was quite good. I had the teriyaki skirt steak which was perfectly done and delicious. My husband's halibut was good as well. The bread and Mediterranean platter were just ok but the Fritto Misty was good. If you want to go to a really crowded, noisy, popular place, this isn't it. But it's busy enough, the food is decent, the service is great, and the ambiance is really nice. I'd definitely go back.”

I asked about gluten free options since the menu was not marked, and he took me through the menu to explain what could and could not be safely prepared without cross contamination. Unfortunately, not many safe options! There are very few gluten-containing items, but they spoil most of the menu for me due to a shared fryer - so no homemade tortilla chips for me! The cocktails were great, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were friendly. I just wish they would modify kitchen practices to be more celiac friendly.Dietary restrictions: Minimal truly gluten free items due to cross contamination”

“Bagels are tasty but small and expensive. The lox was good enough but again the sandwich was pricey for the amount of bagel and lox you’re getting. It’s the only bagel spot around so it’s got us hooked there. Two bagels (only one lox) cost me $16 and change.”

It was a total blast, and the staff went out of their way to address my vision for the event without any hesitation. This is a great space for any up and coming musical artist that is looking for an intimate venue with flexible options for stage/furniture layout, sound equipment, lighting and more. I didn’t have to bring any of my supplemental audio equipment to the gig as a lot of it was provided by the venue - that was super convenient!My audience had a fantastic time and I will definitely be playing more DJ gigs here!”

“Sushi Shin is an amazing premium sushi experience. The seafood is extremely high quality. Most fish are from Japan but are super fresh. Seasonality of seafood is also emphasized. Highlights of the meal were "fish cheese" and monk fish liver. The space is cozy and elegant. Sake list is quite impressive. Chef was fun, personable, and did a great job on explaining the food. Service is top notch as well.”

“We dined on a Thursday it wasn't very busy due to rain. However we were kindly waited on and served in a timely manner. The bathrooms were also clean! There is a front and back entrance and pickup is on the left side of the front entrance when you walk in about halfway through the restaurant. (Saw many people confused by this) They have many dishes that are classic takeaway options. We didn't try anything too spicy but will have to when I return. We ordered the double mushroom chicken, veggie and brown rice fried rice, pan fried pork dumplings, and scallion pancakes( who doesn't love fried dough?) . Everything was tasty and as expected. This may be become a regular takeaway spot if I'm in rwc!”

“We wandered in to Milagros for lunch and were soon greeted and taken to the cute patio area. We ordered chips and salsa, and got three delicious salsas and a bucket of fantastic tortilla chips. My niece had a fish taco and I had the chicken taquitos. She loved her taco, and the taquitos were absolutely perfect. Jose 'el diablo', ? was our waiter. He was entertaining and likeable, very sweet and funny. The service was beyond reproach.”

“My favorite item on the Carl Jr. menu is the Western Bacon Cheeseburger. The Carl's Jr. Redwood City location is very spacious, clean and usually not too busy. I hope this Carl location never goes out of business because nearby is In/Out Burger and Chick-fil-A.”

“I went to Redwood City Costco this morning and on my way there at the corner of Middlefield and Willow. I think the street, there is man standing there waiting to cross the street. I said OK no big deal he has the right away. He still standing there he just staring at nothing I thought that's a little strange, so eventually he does cross the street and I just kind of ignore him. No big deal I go park my car go inside and shop coming out of Costco on the same corner almost, the same man standing there I'm like that's odd. Why is that guy just standing on the corner of Middlefield and Willow, then I thought about it. This is a very busy busy intersection and I've seen people, do fraud cases by making accidents looking like they got hurt on this corner I know it happened to a friend of mine who hit a bicyclist on this corner, beware people. Drive Carefully watch out for fraudulent persons pretending to get hurt to try to sue you. It's a very busy street/corner. Call the police get a hold of me. I will testify against this guy. Maybe I'm just paranoid. But still I've seen it happen to my friend years ago. Be careful of this scam.”

“I can certainly count on a 5 star experience at my local Jack in the Box on 5th Ave, in RWC - the fast food service is on point and my vanilla shake are out of this world and are served with the biggest smile. My treat today a large vanilla ice cream shake and a big Cherry on top. “This McDonald's is right off of Woodside Road. It has a small parking lot and a drive thru. I haven't been inside but have done drive thru a few times and it's been quick and efficient.They do have some (limited?) breakfast past 10am or whatever their cutoff is so you can always ask if they have your favorite breakfast item. I got a bacon egg and cheese McGriddle recently which is my go to and I like how crispy the bacon is. The pancakes are a tiny bit too sweet if I had to critique it, but that's okay I will still enjoy it!”

“Great little coffee shop for simple drinks and beans. Beans and coffee were really well priced!! The owners are really friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t expect fancy drinks, but just good coffee. The mocha and cappuccino were both quite good. We’re excited to try the Ethiopian Guji beans. There are lots of cute mugs for sale, too. There isn’t much seating inside, so don’t expect to bring a book or your laptop. Parking can be tough, but if you’re patient you can find a spot on the street. Lots of food options around. “One of my go to Boba places in Redwood City. They have consistent quality tea drinks with chewy boba. They also have long hours of operation Great for a late night boba. I usually have the jasmine green tea. They also have good coconut milk, tea with red bean topping. There's no place to sit but it's right in front of Redwood city Hall.”

“Just got back from Taiwan and was missing my 飯團。 I happened to be in Redwood City so found the place on Google. I was very surprised to find a food establishment that is between all these auto collision and hauling businesses. I wasn’t sure I was going into the right place because nowhere on the façade did it say it was called taiwanese eats. Luckily, someone appeared at the window right away and told me that I needed to order first. I ordered two rice burritos for $7 each and could only finish one. The glutenous rice was delicious and the fish (魚鬆） and boiled egg inside was excellent as well. I will definitely be going back when I’m in the area. Lucky for me, I have another rice burrito to eat later tonight.”

“Been here twice now, the fries have been solid both times so always get those.We've tried the Chicago, Italian, and Kraut dogs, and the cheesesteak sandwich.Chicago dog is the best of the 3. Cheese steak is a good size. I wish they toasted their buns, everything was soft but I like crispy edges. Their milkshakes tastes like it's made from real ice cream and apple pie slices are large! The pie was cold so I don't recommend if you're craving hot apple pie right away. Luckily I live near by and we were able to reheat the pie and enjoy it at home”

“Obviously, this is still a Taco Bell and so the food is never going to be considered gourmet, but I am giving five stars for the consistent quality and service of this particular location. Every other Taco Bell that I have been to always end up making some kind of mistake, whether it is forgetting to put something in an item or just messing up the order entirely. Due to working nearby, I have frequented this establishment and my order has always been correct. The food here, at least for me, always comes out hot and fresh. This is especially apparent when I order the Nacho Fries or Fiesta Potatoes, which often comes out cold and stale at other locations. While this review may have been written after some herbal influence, I honestly do feel that this place is one of the better Taco Bell locations.”

I will not use the kiosks again. There were problems with the order and the cashiers could not help because we used the kiosk. The food is good though. “We landed at SFO, and my California-born husband immediately requested that I place an online order to pick up Round Table pizza on the way to visit family in Woodside. “Well, everyone who knows me well knows that my go to stress food is a 3 crunchy taco supreme meal and I blame my childhood eating habits. Pros: Definitely fresher and better put together than the one on el Camino real. Because it's more out of the way, there's pretty much never a wait in the drive through, at least in the evenings. I was very surprised to find a food establishment that is between all these auto collision and hauling businesses. I wasn’t sure I was going into the right place because nowhere on the façade did it say it was called taiwanese eats. Luckily, someone appeared at the window right away and told me that I needed to order first. I ordered two rice burritos for $7 each and could only finish one. The glutenous rice was delicious and the fish (魚鬆） and boiled egg inside was excellent as well. I will definitely be going back when I’m in the area. Lucky for me, I have another rice burrito to eat later tonight.”
