“Great selection of food, the house special pork pan fried bao is delicious -- one of the best outside of China. Love its tapas style, you can get a lot of smaller dishes to share and try a lot of different items! Service is outstanding!! Every server is so hospitable and you can tell they care about their customers.

We tried a lot of their items, would totally recommend the dumplings, XLB, wonton in chili oil, pan fried bao, skewers such as the ox tongue, salmon and chicken. Kids loved the porridge and ramen too. We got a bottle of sake, it comes with the coolest chilling/dispensing device -- it's an experience!“

“The beef tongue was absolutely delicious! We ordered two servings, but the second one wasn’t as good as the first—it was a bit tougher.

The ramen and the beef rice bowl were both very tasty as well. However, the beef was a little too rare and had a strong bloody taste. We hope it can be cooked a bit more next time.

“My partner and I recently found this spot on her lunch break because we were craving soup and wanted to avoid dealing with parking downtown.

We both ordered the momo (buffalo) noodle soup and were blown away! The noodles were similar to mama/indomie rather than fresh, but I ended up loving it regardless. The broth was very light but super flavorful and savory. AND THE MOMOS!!! Absolutely to die for; I think they were the best I've ever had. Not to mention it was very fairly priced and lasted us both for two meals.

Not to mention, especially in the South Bay, most Nepalese/Himalayan restaurants heavily feature Indian food. Rara stands out to me because Nepali food is absolutely the star here. I wasn't familiar with a majority the menu and that's a great thing because it means they're offering unique dishes you can't find everywhere. Plus, the service was incredibly friendly and kind.

Our friends picked this place and we dropped in for a late night quick bite after their long flight, and it turned out to be a really good choice.

The Brussels sprouts were tasty, though a little heavy on the fried onions.

We had a small mix-up on our side with the Manchurian and realized it was chicken, not gobi. No fault of the restaurant!

My favorite was the pan-fried paneer momos—really good. Our friends enjoyed the chicken momos, and we also tried the black salt soda, with the black salt on the side first just to experiment ;)

Small, cozy place, friendly service, and perfect for a quick bite after an airport pickup. Would definitely come back!“

“Great food and friendly service. The tables are unfortunately permanently tacky/sticky which never feels good as you're eating. Our waitress was very nice and cleaned it again to make sure that's all it was. But it would be good to fix that.

I'm glad we sat outside, the music inside was nice but it would be far too loud to have a conversation in there.“

There’s a public parking garage behind the restaurant. Parking is free after 6 pm. You can enter the restaurant through the back door.“

“Onigilly is always my favorite quick, affordable lunch, especially when I want something nutritious and savory. I was in a rush today, so I UberEats, everything took like 30 mins, arrived warm and smell delicious!!!

Normally I would have ordered non vegan, but I would like to try the vegan onigiri this time and they were just as good. The rice was perfectly seasoned. For fillings, I had shiitake mushroom, teriyaki tofu, braised seaweed & nasu eggplant. Teriyaki tofu and nasu eggplant were probably my favorites, but all four were delicious. Each onigiri costs $3.99.

Overall, cheap, light, filling, and nutritious, super ideal for a busy day. Always recommendedddddd“

“I ordered the sizzling stonepot with galbi (beef) and an ube latte, and both were excellent! The stonepot had a generous portion, tasted just like Korean BBQ, and was packed with flavor. The ube latte had a great ube taste without being too sweet or overpowering. I'd definitely order both again and would recommend giving them a try!“

I got the Satori roll, and it’s the best - fish is fresh and it had the right amount of crunch and sauce to balance the tender hamachi. “So many creative and yummy options! We were lucky and able to get a same day reservation at 5:15 pm on a Friday.

Service is impeccable and it looked like there was more staff than tables when we arrived but over the course of dinner, as the rest filled up, it made more sense.

We loved the custard appetizer. So smooth with great textures and flavors from the potato, fish roe and everything else in the bowl.

The lasagna was very unexpected yet delicious with layers and ground meat.

The pawns had great flavor and we liked the sausages and tomatoes it came with. I also love that the bodies were de-shelled as already.

The cold noodle was very interesting with the foam. It's a very mild flavor so this dish is more about the presentation and textures.

The scallops were fresh but not that interesting. I love Hokkaido scallops but I prefer them raw. This cook was good, just not that interesting.

The spicy hot tofu soup was fine. It didn't feel different or elevated from what I've had at other places and a touch too salty for our tastes.

There's plenty to try on the menu and would have loved to try the kalbi but our bill was quite pricey already.

I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, it's a great treat and dining experience.“

“Earlier this week on Sunday, I was craving some Korean fried Chicken, which I never had before. I did a search on Google and came across Bonchon in San Mateo. The first experience I had, I was not happy with my order because it was not accurate. I ordered an 8 piece, but only received a 4 piece and because it’s through a 3rd party nothing could be done. I decided on Monday I would order this time directly from the restaurant. Everything worked out, and I have to tell you even though my order was not right the first time? This did not take away from the quality of the food. I ordered the drumsticks extra crunch? No sauce, and the first time I ordered with fried rice, both were excellent. The seasoning, it was rich with flavor, and I have absolutely no complaints. The second time on Monday I ordered the same chicken a 4 piece, the corn with the mayonnaise, cheese and red pepper flakes, with a side of steamed rice. Everything was just perfect. I’m not kidding you it’s taking everything in me to control myself from ordering more today, and it’s just Tuesday. It’s just that good! Whoever the chefs are, you can taste the love in their cooking, it’s not just thrown together. There is Love in their food, and know this because my Mom’s food is just the same. Every bite is good. I don’t say these things lightly when it comes to restaurants. There’s not too many that impress me like this. All I can say is keep the love in your food, and don’t change the quality even if you have a million customers, don’t change your food. 5/5 for me, it’s a must try if you love fried chicken or Korean food. I don’t have pictures this time, maybe next time if I can upload I will. The chicken is so crunchy that even when it’s cold it’s still good and crunchy and not soggy. We were at the place 6:30 pm on Tuesday. The only customers. The order took a loooooong time.

“Hand-pulled pan-fried noodles is one of my favorite dishes. I get it at every restaurant that sells it. This restaurant had the best version of that dish I have ever had, by a considerable margin. I have never written a google restaurant review before, but the food was so good that it motivated me to write one.

It was like every ingredient was the best version of that ingredient and all the ingredients were all put together into one symphony of flavor. I was reminded of the first time I heard the Beatles.“

“We’ve hosted two events at this P.F. Chang’s location, and it has become our go-to venue for large gatherings.

From the very beginning, Regional Manager Jay Jenkins was incredibly easy to work with. He was responsive, accommodating, and made the planning process seamless with his prompt communication.

We recently held a retirement party for 35+ guests, and the service was truly exceptional. Brenden and Anastasia were outstanding—they anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, kept drinks refilled, and made sure everyone was well taken care of throughout the event. Their attentiveness and professionalism made a lasting impression on all of our guests.

The large group menu offered plenty of delicious options, and we appreciated that non-alcoholic beverages were included, making it a great value. We’re also grateful to the manager for allowing us extra time beyond our reservation and for letting us come in early to decorate and set up.

This location is honestly a hidden gem for hosting events. Part of me wanted to keep it our little secret, but the team deserves the recognition. Thank you to Jay, Brenden, Anastasia, and the entire staff for making our celebration so memorable. We’ll definitely be back for future events!“

“Always like a place where the windows open up to the street, and there are a couple tables in front on the sidewalk you could use with your pup. The decor is simple but nice. The service a bit on the slow side, but nothing to complain about assuming you're not in a hurry. Food is very good and flavorful. But being Burmese don't expect your pad thai to be like in Thailand (here it is a little sweeter), nor your curry like India (not as spicy). We came for lunch midweek, and it is a bit expensive for lunch (because all they serve is off the same menu used for dinner). So your better value may be dinner. Our bill was $60 for two without tip or any alcohol.“
