They could make Jain food for me and also adhere to it strictly even when I order from Doordash and call and let them know about my allergies and Jain religious dietary restrictions. The front desk person is so friendly and helpful.“

“Great food and friendly service. The tables are unfortunately permanently tacky/sticky which never feels good as you're eating. Our waitress was very nice and cleaned it again to make sure that's all it was. But it would be good to fix that.

“Highly recommend coming for the Dungeness crab without having to venture out to San Francisco 🫪

We tried the peppercorn crab. The batter was perfect, it was white (meaning the oil is new). Again, I don’t like using my fingers to eat, but PPQ makes it easy. They give you a bib, sanitizing wipes, and napkins to keep your fingers clean. We will be back to try the salted egg and curry options 😊

We also enjoyed their beef papaya salad prior to the crab. It was refreshing and delicious. In addition, the garlic noodles are highly recommended too. To finish it off, we ordered a bowl of white jasmine rice to eat with the crab seasoning.

There is also a parking lot, but look for parking further away if none is available instead of circling around. It’s a pleasant walk around the nice neighborhood.“

“Great selection of food, the house special pork pan fried bao is delicious -- one of the best outside of China. Love its tapas style, you can get a lot of smaller dishes to share and try a lot of different items! Service is outstanding!! Every server is so hospitable and you can tell they care about their customers.

We tried a lot of their items, would totally recommend the dumplings, XLB, wonton in chili oil, pan fried bao, skewers such as the ox tongue, salmon and chicken. Kids loved the porridge and ramen too. We got a bottle of sake, it comes with the coolest chilling/dispensing device -- it's an experience!“

The food was excellent. My favorites were the Truffle Scallop, the Shinjuku Roll, and the Bluefin Lovers Roll. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Each roll had its own unique taste, and I would gladly order all of them again.

The service truly made the night unforgettable. Eric was our server, and he was absolutely amazing. He has such a positive energy, and you can genuinely tell he enjoys being around people. “Earlier this week on Sunday, I was craving some Korean fried Chicken, which I never had before. I did a search on Google and came across Bonchon in San Mateo. The first experience I had, I was not happy with my order because it was not accurate. I ordered an 8 piece, but only received a 4 piece and because it’s through a 3rd party nothing could be done. I decided on Monday I would order this time directly from the restaurant. Everything worked out, and I have to tell you even though my order was not right the first time? This did not take away from the quality of the food. I ordered the drumsticks extra crunch? No sauce, and the first time I ordered with fried rice, both were excellent. The seasoning, it was rich with flavor, and I have absolutely no complaints. The second time on Monday I ordered the same chicken a 4 piece, the corn with the mayonnaise, cheese and red pepper flakes, with a side of steamed rice. Everything was just perfect. I’m not kidding you it’s taking everything in me to control myself from ordering more today, and it’s just Tuesday. It’s just that good! Whoever the chefs are, you can taste the love in their cooking, it’s not just thrown together. There is Love in their food, and know this because my Mom’s food is just the same. Every bite is good. I don’t say these things lightly when it comes to restaurants. There’s not too many that impress me like this. All I can say is keep the love in your food, and don’t change the quality even if you have a million customers, don’t change your food. 5/5 for me, it’s a must try if you love fried chicken or Korean food. I don’t have pictures this time, maybe next time if I can upload I will. The chicken is so crunchy that even when it’s cold it’s still good and crunchy and not soggy. “Disclaimer, I'm not a milk tea snob. I love trying out the variety of drinks that Quickly provides, as well as the variety of snacks and meals. I only get to visit this one when I'm visiting a friend, cuz the ones around my neighborhood unfortunately got closed down due to bad people. No other milk tea cafe I know of is a one stop shop like Quickly is in my opinion (e.g. has milk tea, flavored milks, bubble waffles of more than two flavors, popcorn chicken, etc), and I don't think any of it is poor quality imo as long as you've set your expectations correctly (like it's not a tea house).“

“Really good Chinese BBQ place. All of the bread items we tried were flaky and tasty, highly recommend the brown sugar one. The skewers were all solid, and I appreciated that the beef had a more teriyaki-style flavor, because too much cumin starts to get a bit sameish. In that regard, you should consider getting an order of the lettuce leaves to use as a wrap for the skewers, it's a great palette cleanser and adds some nice texture.

Would love to go again, but it's a bit far from my house and Chinese BBQ isn't something you can do too frequently.“

My passion fruit slush with double aloe was really good, though it started melting pretty fast. My husband's Jasmine milk tea was exactly as advertised. The popcorn chicken was really good, even if it took some time to make (which they do warn you about, so I'm not mad). I will definitely return to this Quickly in the future.“
