“I was impressed with my passionfruit tea with a bit of real pulp and seeds. It was $5.50 for the standard large size (24 oz) with a topping, an amazing deal in 2026. They definitely back off the ice if requested, sweetness is slightly high (their 50% is closer to my palate's 70%), and I appreciate the option to choose between green or black teas. The strawberry jellies are tasty, but were harder to suck up the straw. Service was fast and the interior has some tables with C-pop in the background; I'd be glad to hang out with my friends here.“

The bulgogi was bit plain, not a lot of flavor and wish more meats too😊. There are both indoor and outdoor seatings.“

“I love this place! I come here all the time to do homework. The menu is well rounded, the noodle plates are bomb. They're always served fresh and hot. As a sago lover, their mixed fruit flavor is one of the best, you have to try it if you're a fan of boba vibes and want to try something new. The staff is always friendly and they're open late. I shared a bingsu for the first time and it was a fun experience all around. This is genuinely one of my favorite places in West Portal.“

They could make Jain food for me and also adhere to it strictly even when I order from Doordash and call and let them know about my allergies and Jain religious dietary restrictions. We tried the peppercorn crab. The batter was perfect, it was white (meaning the oil is new). Again, I don’t like using my fingers to eat, but PPQ makes it easy. They give you a bib, sanitizing wipes, and napkins to keep your fingers clean. We will be back to try the salted egg and curry options 😊

We also enjoyed their beef papaya salad prior to the crab. It was refreshing and delicious. In addition, the garlic noodles are highly recommended too. To finish it off, we ordered a bowl of white jasmine rice to eat with the crab seasoning.

There is also a parking lot, but look for parking further away if none is available instead of circling around. It’s a pleasant walk around the nice neighborhood.“

“My daughter and I love hitting up this quiet boba spot for some delicious and chewy honey boba after school. We've enjoyed their oreo brulee and oreo smoothie, but I plan on trying some fruit teas next time, which we just learned are made from REAL FRUIT! They don't use fruit syrups to flavor any of their drinks. The service is outstanding -- I accidentally ordered extra boba on a drink that already included boba, and they offered to refund me. “We decided to try Bon Nene a few weekends ago. Got there around 6 and ended up waiting for two hours for an indoor table. The atmosphere inside was top notch: warm, elegant, cool. Our servers were friendly and fast. Some menu items were a bit of a let down after two hours though. Highlights: the fried chicken and sauce were bomb, sake selection was nice, the wasabi was some of the best I've had, tuna was very fresh and nice thick cut. The cheesecake was the winner.

The mushroom pasta was disappointing - felt like butter noodles. The tuna avocado dish was 80% rice. Miso soup was not as traditional as I would like (chunks of carrot in the bottom).“

This burger was incredibly filling, and at about $12 per burger, it’s one of the best deals in the Bay. We added some Cajun fries and got two sides of their interesting fusion sauces to try — the wasabi aioli and banana ketchup aioli. Both had distinct Asian inspiration, as did their entire menu (lumpia, Vietnamese pork burgers, kimchi burgers, you name it) and that really made the place stand out.
