“Highly recommend coming for the Dungeness crab without having to venture out to San Francisco 🫪

We tried the peppercorn crab. The batter was perfect, it was white (meaning the oil is new). Again, I don’t like using my fingers to eat, but PPQ makes it easy. They give you a bib, sanitizing wipes, and napkins to keep your fingers clean. We will be back to try the salted egg and curry options 😊

We also enjoyed their beef papaya salad prior to the crab. It was refreshing and delicious. In addition, the garlic noodles are highly recommended too. To finish it off, we ordered a bowl of white jasmine rice to eat with the crab seasoning.

There is also a parking lot, but look for parking further away if none is available instead of circling around. It’s a pleasant walk around the nice neighborhood.“

“Really good Chinese BBQ place. All of the bread items we tried were flaky and tasty, highly recommend the brown sugar one. The skewers were all solid, and I appreciated that the beef had a more teriyaki-style flavor, because too much cumin starts to get a bit sameish. In that regard, you should consider getting an order of the lettuce leaves to use as a wrap for the skewers, it's a great palette cleanser and adds some nice texture.

Would love to go again, but it's a bit far from my house and Chinese BBQ isn't something you can do too frequently.“

“You go here for the food, not so much the atmosphere. I had the pan fried noodles with bean sprouts and soy sauce, as well as the egg tofu with pea sprouts.

Both were so yummy! Big portions, well-seasoned and skillfully cooked. Would def come again.“

“Found this little gem while on a layover at SFO and the food was amazing! I had the Curry Sliced Beef Ramen and it was probably the best I’ve had. The ordering technology threw me off but I got over it quickly, it is 2025. As far as atmosphere…..just a bunch of people quietly eating lunch. I only gave the service 2 stars because it is an online order and someone just deeply it off at the table. Would definitely recommend though.“

“Chicken Pho You is a small hole in the wall restaurant right along Broadway in Millbrae. Super convenient parking, and it was quite busy during the morning hours!
They have a few breakfast sets to choose from, and they're all very reasonably priced. I ended up getting the satay beef noodle, a classic Cantonese dish. There was a good amount of beef, and it delivered flavor wise!“

“Our hostess Jolly was pleasant and friendly! The service was impeccable and the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! We are from the East coast and this restaurant was on par with some of the best restaurants in New York City. It's difficult to find a clean, quiet, premium hotel on site of an airport with an equally top notch restaurant. The Hyatt is the place to stay at SFO and enjoy a great dining experience at Quail & Crane! We will be back!“

“I love this place! I come here all the time to do homework. The menu is well rounded, the noodle plates are bomb. They're always served fresh and hot. As a sago lover, their mixed fruit flavor is one of the best, you have to try it if you're a fan of boba vibes and want to try something new. The staff is always friendly and they're open late. I shared a bingsu for the first time and it was a fun experience all around. This is genuinely one of my favorite places in West Portal.“

“Easily one of the top 5 pho bowls I’ve had an I’m Vietnamese. I had a lot of doubts about so many different Asian ethnicities represented as dishes here but from the few we samples (Japanese, viet, Thai), it did not disappoint. Also the craft beer selection is *chefs kiss*

There’s a public parking garage behind the restaurant. Parking is free after 6 pm. You can enter the restaurant through the back door.“

“Their Champa Sampler is absolutely delicuous with the fried rice ball salad as a true showstopper. We also tried the Larp Lao style salad with duck, which wasn't the most interesting dish, and the Lad Na had good flavor but a little too much gravy.

Portion sizes were great for the price and the staff were very quick with providing napkins and utensils. Phenomenal service.“

“This is definitely a hidden gem in a small strip of San Carlos. My bestie took me here for a birthday dinner, so it was as my first time. The sushi is so fresh and everything we ate tasted delicious, melt in your mouth!!! The staff was fun and had great energy! “I order from Cafe Bunn Mi regularly, and they absolutely nail it every single time. The food is always great and incredibly fresh. It’s rare to find a spot that is this consistent with their quality, but they never disappoint.

On top of the excellent food, the staff is always super friendly and welcoming. The prices are also totally fair and appropriate for the solid portions and quality you get. If you’re looking for a reliable, delicious meal in South SF, this is definitely the place to go!“

“From the moment we walked in, everything about our experience was wonderful.

The ambiance was warm, inviting, and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy dinner. It had a welcoming atmosphere that made us want to stay and take our time.

The food was excellent. My favorites were the Truffle Scallop, the Shinjuku Roll, and the Bluefin Lovers Roll. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Each roll had its own unique taste, and I would gladly order all of them again.

The service truly made the night unforgettable. Eric was our server, and he was absolutely amazing. He has such a positive energy, and you can genuinely tell he enjoys being around people. He made us feel welcomed from the start, checked on us throughout the meal without ever being overbearing, and made the whole dining experience feel personal and like we were guests in someone's home rather than just customers in a restaurant.

“Came for a killer burger and got exactly what I wanted — a classic diner style smashburger made-to-order, all tied together with their signature house sauce. Absolutely a win!!

This burger was incredibly filling, and at about $12 per burger, it’s one of the best deals in the Bay. We added some Cajun fries and got two sides of their interesting fusion sauces to try — the wasabi aioli and banana ketchup aioli. Both had distinct Asian inspiration, as did their entire menu (lumpia, Vietnamese pork burgers, kimchi burgers, you name it) and that really made the place stand out.

The service was quick and friendly, and we ordered at the counter near the back of a bar. The joint had an admittedly hole-in-the-wall feel; it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I enjoyed the grungy neighborhood feel to the place.“

“Earlier this week on Sunday, I was craving some Korean fried Chicken, which I never had before. I did a search on Google and came across Bonchon in San Mateo. The first experience I had, I was not happy with my order because it was not accurate. I ordered an 8 piece, but only received a 4 piece and because it’s through a 3rd party nothing could be done. I decided on Monday I would order this time directly from the restaurant. Everything worked out, and I have to tell you even though my order was not right the first time? This did not take away from the quality of the food. I ordered the drumsticks extra crunch? No sauce, and the first time I ordered with fried rice, both were excellent. The seasoning, it was rich with flavor, and I have absolutely no complaints. The second time on Monday I ordered the same chicken a 4 piece, the corn with the mayonnaise, cheese and red pepper flakes, with a side of steamed rice. Everything was just perfect. I’m not kidding you it’s taking everything in me to control myself from ordering more today, and it’s just Tuesday. It’s just that good! Whoever the chefs are, you can taste the love in their cooking, it’s not just thrown together. There is Love in their food, and know this because my Mom’s food is just the same. Every bite is good. I don’t say these things lightly when it comes to restaurants. There’s not too many that impress me like this. All I can say is keep the love in your food, and don’t change the quality even if you have a million customers, don’t change your food. 5/5 for me, it’s a must try if you love fried chicken or Korean food. I don’t have pictures this time, maybe next time if I can upload I will. The chicken is so crunchy that even when it’s cold it’s still good and crunchy and not soggy. “Disclaimer, I'm not a milk tea snob. I love trying out the variety of drinks that Quickly provides, as well as the variety of snacks and meals. I only get to visit this one when I'm visiting a friend, cuz the ones around my neighborhood unfortunately got closed down due to bad people. No other milk tea cafe I know of is a one stop shop like Quickly is in my opinion (e.g. has milk tea, flavored milks, bubble waffles of more than two flavors, popcorn chicken, etc), and I don't think any of it is poor quality imo as long as you've set your expectations correctly (like it's not a tea house).“
