“We do mostly takeout here and keep returning because the food is great. My family’s general assessment is that their sushi is better than most in the area. But I wanted to highlight their excellent customer service. We had ordered a 3 item bento box in one of orders and one item was forgotten. When it was brought to their attention by phone, they reimbursed the entire bento box, no questions asked. Good customer service is hard to find these days and just wanted to make sure they were recognized for that on top of the great food!“

“I travelled from Riverside County to come eat at this restaurant and have heard such great reviews about it from my relatives and friends who live all the way in China! It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back again. Each dish is unique and they also have gluten free options as well as requested options. (My f5 year old is Gluten free).The bamboo and mushroom dish had a hint of sweetness with an undertone of spice, the Chong qing 🌶spicy chicken was mouth watering, along with the eggplant 🍆 dish, dry stir fried fish, and glass noodles with pork! I enjoyed every dish and my kids enjoyed their shrimp fried rice dish and greens as well. Our family is a foodie family and we love ❤️ traveling far and near to try dishes from around the world. The Chef came out and greeted us and was So kind. The staff was very attentive and friendly with our children. I would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you!! 🙏💕😁“

“Got the Portuguese egg tarts here for a party. Convenience location and quick service. But it's quite pricey; each tart is $3.75. And I purchased 21 of them for over $80+ yikes. Plus they charged money for the boxes and credit card fees. A lot of nickle and diming here but it is what it is. We also tried this mocha like bread and it was pretty chewy and good.“

“It was my first time visiting here, and I came with my friend. We both had the Wuhan noodles the lady working there recommended us, and it was so delicious! She was also very kind and helped us by explaining the way to eat it. The atmosphere was nice with a warm atmosphere and had mostly families dining in.“

“What a lovely find! Han Sang is a welcoming Korean restaurant serving beautifully prepared, authentic food.

I ordered the Combo Suyuk and the Han Sang Guk Bap, and both were fantastic. The beef was beautifully tender, and the spicy soup was rich, comforting, and packed with flavour. You can really appreciate the care that goes into the cooking.

The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

“We were disappointed with our previous favorite Sichuan restaurant on our second visit there. We found this Michelin recommended restaurant as a replacement. We were very impressed. The quality was on par with the best restaurants in Asia, which is a rarity in the US. The beautifully photographed menu made item selection easy. The veggies even turned out better than the picture in the menu. They truly deserve all those awards on their wall. We will make it our regular chinese restaurant from now on.

The spanakopita has sesame seeds on it. This is new and delightful for me.

“I have tried this restaurant when they first opened and visited few times after that, enjoyed it every time.

We visited again today with our hiking group with someone who knows how to ordered with a group setting, we ordered half Hainan Chicken, half House Special Duck, two bowls of Hainan Steamed Rice, two bowls of Rice Noodles in Chicken Broth and one of their House Special Fried Tofu.

There was five of us in our group and we have left over enough for one more person to take home.

The price was beyond reasonable, it costed less than going to Fast Food chains.

Everything tasted fresh & delicious, especially their Hainan Chicken, I would say is the BEST in the Bay Area.

Service was attentive, the food came out fast, they were 90% full when we were there.

The dining area is clean even the restroom, keep in mind this is a family operated establishment, but is kept in a very professional manner.

Since retiring from owned & operated restaurants my whole life, I felt compelled to give them a Review that they so well deserved.

“You go here for the food, not so much the atmosphere. I had the pan fried noodles with bean sprouts and soy sauce, as well as the egg tofu with pea sprouts.

Both were so yummy! Big portions, well-seasoned and skillfully cooked. Would def come again.“

“Love this place. I have been coming here for over 20 years. the salt and pepper chicken wings/pork chops are awesome. the spicy seafood with fresh hand pull noodles are the best. The family also love the scrambled eggs and shrimp. Everything is really good, the only thing I don't like from them is the fried salt and pepper fish. That could use some work, but I would recommend everything else. The service can be a little slower when they are busy with take out orders. It's kinda of typical hole in the wall chinese restaurant. “First time trying Laka! I was really craving Hainan chicken, so I ordered half a roasted pork and half a Hainan chicken to go. Overall, the food was really good, and I’ll definitely be back! The gentleman who carved the roasted pork was also very kind, which I appreciated.

Just a heads-up for first-timers: the minimum order for roasted pork is half a pound, so you can’t order just a quarter pound. ( in case u try to order for 1 )

My only real complaint is the ginger sauce. For half a chicken, they only provided one container, which I felt wasn’t enough. When I asked for an extra one, I was told it would cost $1. Honestly, I think 50 cents would be more reasonable for a small container of sauce, especially when you’re already ordering a meal to go. I had also left a tip on my takeout order, so being charged another dollar for extra ginger sauce felt a little disappointing.

The food is delicious, and the service was kind for the butcher, the lady could have been more kinder but I wish they were a little more generous with the ginger sauce or included at least two containers with half a chicken. It’s a small detail, but it would make the takeout experience so much better! Total cost $32 takeout“

“If you are looking for that HK style but can't afford the airplane tixs or don't want to travel just to get it. This is the place for you. Came here on Sunday about 30 minutes after opening and 75% of the tables were full.

Their HK Milk tea is very strong and authentic. Not watered down at all. Comes with condensed milk already added. Just need to stir it.

We went for the beef stew noodle soup, Russian Borsch soup and baked pork chop over spaghetti.

Beef stew noodle soup - extremely tender and flavorful. The noodle had the right kind of snap and soup was very good.

Russian Borsch soup - was exactly how we remembered it. Excellent choice.

Baked pork chop over spaghetti- pork chop was meaty, tender, no fatty like a few other place. Great quality meat.

This is a definite place to save as a favorite to get your HK food and HK milk tea fix on.“

“We had one of the best experiences last night. Tim our waiter was one of the best we have had. He was able to find Sprite Zero for my wife's drink. He also delivered a warm chocolate chip cookie with a small scoop of ice cream for my wife even though it wasn't in the menu. His ability to go above the call of duty and not just say no I can't get that for you was so amazing it had to make sure it is recognized. Exceptional service needs to be acknowledge and rewarded. “Chicken Pho You is a small hole in the wall restaurant right along Broadway in Millbrae. Super convenient parking, and it was quite busy during the morning hours!
They have a few breakfast sets to choose from, and they're all very reasonably priced. I ended up getting the satay beef noodle, a classic Cantonese dish. There was a good amount of beef, and it delivered flavor wise!“

“The BBQ pork wonton soup was a lot bigger than expected; they give you twice the amount of noodles than a regular place. The broth was not that good, but the wontons were big and meaty. The BBQ pork had more fat than I would prefer and comes in a separate plate. Service is typical (crude) Chinese. Not bad.“
