“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. “I have been Jonesin for for a lobster roll. I ordered the lobster and cheese sandwich, thinking it would be a grilled cheese with a dash of lobster. Boy, was I wrong! It has a generous helping of lobster, the right amount of cheese and perfect on sourdough! This went well with a black and tan, along with some delicious cheesy tots! This is a really nice, friendly pub and I will be back!!“

“I was there on Saturday with hubby just trying to find Gallina but I guess they changed the name. This location is in close proximity to the beach. The burrito was delicious, but it's quite expensive. I was surprised when I got there, as their prices were higher than on their website. The cashier was not friendly either. The one who handed my order was pleasant and quite engaged. It was packed; it might be quite a popular spot. They have a salsa bar with unlimited salsa and chips, which is nice. I'd recommend this because of the salsa bar and delicious food, but they need to update their online pricing and improve customer service.. When I say that their burrito is delicious it's really is… I am quite picky and my Mexican hubby is too. Our favorite burrito is at Joya taqueria and it's comparable wit them… it's the regular carne asada with everything on it burrito.“

“I was traveling through California and was pleasantly surprised at the baked goods I purchased here. I got a cheese Focaccia, a jumbo chocolate chip cookie, and a ginger pumpkin cream cheese cookie. Everything was fantastic and the lady running the store was a sweetheart. “Hubby and I come here about once a year because we liked their clam chowder, the atmosphere, and the proximity to the beach. The service was excellent as always, friendly and engaged. I was there yesterday and was so excited for my cup of clam chowder, but I found it watery, and I think it was not the usual one they had. They might have changed the recipe or the cook. I did not like it at all; I will probably come back and try something else.“

“We had an amazing time! The waiter and wait staff were exceptional. The food was delicious! We had a guest/friend of ours for dinner and we tried many different dishes. All were superb. The bar area was a little noisy with a football game and the manager spoke to the fans that were sitting in the bar and the noise level decreased.
