“Pasta Moon continues to deliver exceptional menu items utilizing local produce and proteins and creating seasonal specialties. We enjoyed local asparagus and spring onion fritti, beef bone marrow angliotti and pear and prosciutto pizza and they all were on point. We shared their massive lasagna(still to date the best lasagna I've ever had) and the papperdelle pasta with mascarpone, pine nut and pancetta in a tomato sauce. Incredible. When it comes to serving pasta, making it fresh as they do creates a perfect dish.“

“When you arrive before opening and see a line that's usually a good sign, and it was no exception here. The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly. We mainly got the hamburgers / special burgers and the herb salad. However, we'd love to try the other items on the menu as everything else had was tasty.“

“Celebrated my 57th here. Really chill Place. We sat outside with friends. It rained while we were there but it wasn't an issue. The drinks were good. The hummus appetizer is good but looked kind of blah. The decorations etc really make the place feel comfortable All good Had a great time even though it start to pour during our time.“

“This review is for take out, but either way this place is GOOD! I want to actually eat here sometime but I had to write this because I enjoyed it so much. My friend and I got take out and placing the order online was super easy, but you do pay at the restaurant and there was no option for Apple Pay or to enter your CC number. I got a dinner bento box with gyoza and tonkatsu. The gyoza was good, fairly standard but good! I really enjoyed the Tonkatsu, it was breaded lightly to perfection and cooked really well. The prices seem fair and comparable to other spots in the area. The restaurant itself is small and they only have a few tables but that's okay! Everyone I interacted with was super sweet, I can't wait to go back!“

“I've had carryout from Hangetsu before but have never eaten in before. That was a mistake. Eating in, especially in the VIP room, is to be experienced. The room aside, I really enjoyed my meal. I had the miso black cod, which is a favorite and was as good as the best I have had (at Morimoto Philadelphia). The nigiri sushi were all fresh and delicious. I had the mackerel and salmon belly, and my son shared his o toro with me. Finished off with some mochi ice cream. And a Sapporo. What's not to love. See you again next visit!“

“This brewery really checks all the boxes -- cozy ambiance with ample seating, excellent variety of delicious brews, live music, plus food truck options if you are feeling hungry! We tried the Venti is Large (stout) and Uncle Pen's (pale ale). Both were refreshing and balanced beers. Definitely worth checking this spot out next time you find yourself in scenic Half Moon Bay.“

“Beautiful area ,Half Moon Bay, beautiful place except the dining room where we were seated was in the back and our view was basically the parking lot even though we had said I was a birthday celebration I had hoped our table would have been the view of the water scenery. We definitely enjoyed our meal, calamari delicious appetizer“

“Indian Beach is one of our favorite local spots. The service is excellent, the food is delicious. It's a very nice family run restaurant. My favorite dishes are the Saag Paneer and my son loves the mix seafood grill. The lamb is excellent as well. Many people pick up food for takeout there, but I love the atmosphere and really enjoy dining in. It's less than two blocks from the harbor, but because it's not on a major Road, I think most people don't know about this little gem so you can usually get seated right away . “

“Food was excellent. Service was good but not great. Our server was not totally with it. He kept calling for a chicken sandwich when I clearly ordered a chicken salad. The salad was great. We made sure the chicken sandwich we did not order was taken off the bill. Our appetizer never came. We made sure it was not in the bill. Ambiance was good. We like the HMB Brewery, have been there many times over the years and plan to be back. Food is fresh, well prepared, and well presented. We hope the server at our table gets better over the weeks to come. The four stars given for the server missing his mark over the appetizer and the sandwich we did not order. Otherwise it would have been five stars.“

“Excellent spot for a quick lunch in Half Moon Bay. We went to the food truck. I ordered the lomo saltado with shrimp and the cheesy yuca. I loved the lomo saltado with shrimp but would skip the cheesy yuca next time. My bf ordered the lomo saltado with steak, which he liked. I had a bite of his & it was good, but if you like seafood, shrimp is the way to go. They also serve Mexican food here, which I didn't try, but if I were in the mood for Mexican food, might be worth a try.“

“This is one of my families‘s favorite restaurants. The food is so fresh, so flavorful, and so authentically Nepalese. it is a family owned and run restaurant and the service is friendly and excellent. It feels like we are in Nepal enjoying a home-cooked meal. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!“

“I've only been a handful of times, but every time has been wonderful! The food is always delicious and fresh, and affordable.The inside seating is cozy and quaint with a dark ambiance, including a piano!The bartenders are always really nice as well. All the staff have very welcoming and friendly energy.The outside has nice fire pits and it's quite literally right by the beach. You can literally walk right into the sand about 100 feet away.I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves delicious and affordable food with a comfortable and cozy atmosphere✨ Plus the beach?! “We drive all the from foster city to hmb, because this place has the best pizza from all the others round tables places … the pizza is great the services is amazing, the make two cheese slices just for my daughter, the salad bar is always full and clean.“

“Easter Brunch at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. We have been going to their Easter Brunch since I was a kid but this is my first review. RC Easter Brunch is one of the best in the world and definitely the BEST Ritz Carlton Brunch anywhere...and I have tried oh so many! We ordered for appetizers: Pan seared Scallop, Smoked Salmon, Flavored Oysters, Flight of Caviar (two), Flight of Marin County Cheese, Classic Benedict and Blue Prawns with cocktail sauce. They were all petite sizes which were meant to tease and tickle our taste buds. For entrees tapas sized we had Westholme A9 Ribeye, Lobster Tail and Wagyu Beef Sliders. Lastly we ordered the Cake Tower for two with Four different desserts. We were also given a piece of Chocolate in a fancy Ritz Carlton box. The Easter Brunch was so worthwhile in driving distance, bespoke service and exceptional food quality. We dined at 10am and did not eat anything else for the day.“

“I've been coming to Straw Hat Pizza for years and love the fact that we have one nearby. They're know n for their classic light California crust and fresh ingredients. You'll find specialty, deep dish, sandwiches and wings that are good as well but I prefer the original recipe. If you like a classic California pizza, this is the place and they deliver.“

“This restaurant is always great. We like to sit outside on the patio even if it's cool because they have fireplaces and heaters, and the space is quiet. (Though if you're not at the back of the restaurant it's relatively quiet inside too.) Service is always good. They have gone back to their previous salmon preparation, which is wonderful. “There's always a line here so be prepared to wait. Fish and chips, calamari, clam chowder and the salad Louie are some of our favorites. You can opt to buy from the counter outside as well. Friendly and fast service. We've not been disappointed here.“

“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant on the coast. The food is always good and served promptly. The service is quick and the restaurant is very clean. “We came here on a semi-rainy day with our dog and sat in the large back yard! I was craving seafood so we got the fish tacos Baja style grilled (yum! The red cabbage was almost creamy) and the fish and chips were a bit more decadent but with a hell of a lot of fish. We also split a grilled cheese which was surprisingly delicious and came with a side of fries. We chose to get the vegetable of the day which was as Brussels sprouts. They were topped with Parmesan and were a good attempt although a little greasy for my liking. The woman at the counter was super nice and answered all my questions about the different fish options. You can even order a side of cod on a salad if you want something super healthy. I thought the backyard was nice and there was a fire pit. There was some seating with an overhang which is good for rain. You pick up the food yourself and get your own silverware. Overall, would come back.“

Nonetheless, that is not caused by the hotel and restaurant.No worries, you can take your drink downstairs. “I got the burrito with carne asada, rice, and beans mainly as something to pile lots of tasty salsas onto, and I was not disappointed! The green and smoky / spicy red salsas were both really good. Still, I miss San Diego Mexican food menus with California burritos and plain meat burritos (i.e. just meat, no rice and beans). Probably wouldn't return unless the menu changed.“

“this is an old school Mexican restaurant of the exact type my parents used to take us to in the 70s. the food is amazing and hearty af, the service is friendly without being overbearing, and the ambiance is...it's obviously an old house that got turned into a restaurant and i have no idea how they make such great food in such a small space but they do it, and they do it well.“
