“From the super nice lady that took my order over the phone, to the friendly person at the register, I was impressed by the amazing service.

The food was tasty and fresh- especially all the veggies in our curry and garlic chicken - big pieces of fresh broccoli, carrot, and cabbage. The yellow curry was my favorite. I think I will ask for extra garlic on the garlic chicken next time- I love a lot of garlic.

“After spending some time at half moon Bay Area, we were discussing which ice cream place we would go, so we decided to try a new place and l started to look on Yelp while on the road. We found this fantastic place, we loved the welcoming and the good energy. The place was so clean and the staff were friendly. I believe was the owner who took our order, he was so nice to us that we ended up talking about soccer, it felt so much like home. Flavors were amazing, we could taste the fruit in each ice cream, not so sweet, just perfect for our palate. I’m sure we will come back.“

We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! “Sometimes great things happen in busy strip malls! The rolls were delish. Fresh, tightly rolled, flavorful with balanced cuts of fish and rice and seasoning. Sake was nice and hot. Everything was fantastic and the lady running the store was a sweetheart. Big windows looking out over the ocean, comfortable chairs, fireplace going, and a nice bar with a good cocktail list. We did a couple of drinks and small plates one night and afternoon tea another day, which was more fun than I expected nice way to kill a foggy afternoon. There was live music in the evening, mellow and not too loud, so you could still hear each other talk. Service was friendly and attentive. It's a bit more polished than the Ocean Terrace, but same great view without needing a blanket. Great spot for a relaxed drink any time of day.“
