“Wow! I love this place! I finally got a chance to go here since they are not open everyday and close at 4. I almost missed them but was able to pick it up right at closing since I called in letting them know my eta. They were so kind and wonderful people! Then I tried the food. Now, I have tried a lot of raw vegan places and I'm vegan and before, I had wanted to be raw vegan. Raw vegan places can be definitely hit or miss. I never really liked Cafe Gratitude but this place?! WOW!!! EVERYTHING I tasted was amazing!!!! I had yummy corn chips, amazing bean hummus, great guacamole, the yummy salmon nori wraps, the delicious cucumber soup, the tasty and addicting sunflower power salad, the incredible raspberry cheesecake and delightful chocolate chip cookies. I can't wait to go back again! The food is fresh, tasty and left me feeling GREAT! Definitely high vibes eating. I'm all for having all sorts of vegan options to eat but honestly I have been a little tired of the junkfood vegan places popping up because although I want to support, sometimes I don't feel so great after I eat there. But this place, I feel great, eat healthy, support local and support women-owned! And help the animals! I'm so happy to finally get to eat here and can't wait to go back! homecooked healthy and tasty vegan "uncooking" at it's best!!!“

“It was fun going during the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!“

“The food was excellent, the atmosphere is casual with lots of seating and nice decor. I got the mixed Gyro plate with chicken and beef. The meat is flavorful and the salad is fresh. Comes with fresh pita, hummus and paprika sauce, with hot sauce at the table. The servers gave us a free slice of baklava drenched in honey and pistachios, and hot tea. Would eat here again!“

Super cozy small shop ran by a local couple. The prices are super cheap and the Chai is delicious! I think it's a house blend. It's a bit sweet but the spices are on point! Highly recommend. 10/10“

Had your fill of whack Carne Asada burritos? Subway’s Subs not quite a foot long? The last thing you wanna see is another lemon pepper chicken wing? If you answer yes to any of these questions, then it’s time for some Middle Eastern cuisine. Most times I’ll just get a Felafel. But while choosing a place to grab a bite from, I decided to eat at MPG.
I ordered the Kofte Plate. In the picture it looks good. It came with a nice portion of delicious fresh bread. It was delightful and held me. The staff was kind and restrooms are available.“

“The people that work here are super friendly and hospitable. They knew me by name after the first visit and were extremely accommodating, even when ordering food like 15 min to closing. The food is also very good. We picked up food from here 3x in one week. ? The "mild" is definitely more like white people medium, but the flavor is very good. The stand out dishes we've had so far are the masala fries, butter chicken, and chicken biryani. It's also a good amount of food for the price in my opinion. Highly recommend this place!“

“Yan gon is a family own Burmese restaurant on broadway Burlingame. The owner and the entire staff were extremely friendly , attentive , courteous . helpful, and welcoming . Their dishes are delicious . I have tried their Burmese Style Curry Lamb , Singapore Street noodles, Deep fried Chicken Wings , and Wor Wonton Soup. All four dishes were delicious, but my favorite is the won ton soup . This soup is perfect , it's so healthy and brothy. The broth is so rich that left a long lasting mouthwatering and coating sensation lingering in my tongue. The wontons are so tasty , juicy , and flavorful with the right amount of , I believe was pork , ginger , garlic ,chopped onions , sugar, salt , pepper , and shrimps . . The shrimps were very tastey and fresh . It didn't have that strange scent of ammonia or fishy smell like spoiled shrimps . The restaurant is simple , bright , clean , casual ambience with ample seatings. I have been here many times and got seated right away. No wait . This restaurant is a must try if you have the craving for Burmese food or just want to try something new.“

“This is seriously some of the best breakfast and lunch food my family and I have ever had. If you can’t tell by the name we are from Cleveland, OH and this place beats out all of our breakfast spots with ease. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here. When we came it was on a Sunday morning right at their “busiest” time and still there was plenty of room and never felt too crowded. Also the pancakes are as big as my head.“

“Was here on a Friday night for dinner - there was a wait even with a reservation but the staff was nice enough the people in line free wine and a seat at the bar. We were seated shortly after and went with the ribs and paella - both were good and portion was hearty. Food took a while to be prepared. Busy and tables were pretty close to each other. “The restaurant is located inside a plaza and there are a lot of parking spaces. We arrived there right after 6:00pm, and there were a few people waiting inside. After I put my name on the waitlist, we were able to get our table very quickly. We ordered the Sliced Beef & Ox Tripe in Chili Oil, Cucumber Salad, Chicken & Corn Dumpling in Chili Oil, Napa Cabbage & Pork Potstickers, Pork Xiao Long Bao, and Iced Assam Milk Tea. They served the food pretty quickly and all the staff were friendly. Those dumplings were freshly made by the chef because you could see the back with an open kitchen and watch them making all the dumplings. Dumplings and Xiao Long Bao tasted pretty good except the sliced beef and ox tripe and the drink was just ok. Highly recommended for the dumplings and Xiao Long Bao :)“

“EDIT: Went back once more for a second chance and I’m glad i did. Got a different sub (roast beef) and it was made well. Tried again and got the chicken and it was great. My first visit was definitely a mistake but the following visits more than made up for it.

The person making my order misheard me several times. The sub I opened up when I got home was not even close to what I wanted. The bread was completely soaked through and it had items I didn’t ask for. I couldn’t imagine anyone wanting this much liquid on a sub. I’d like to say they gave me the wrong order but I don’t think that’s the case. Please make sure there is no communication errors before leaving the store. $20 down the drain.“

Then we got the cinnamon roll, citrus scone, and almond croissant for sweet. They boxed them separately, and omg they are all so good!“

Great communication with Fabiana all throughout the weeks leading up to our party to the day before. We were able to have our entire party seated in the covered patio right outside of the restaurant, which allowed our guests to freely roam around and chat with everyone. It was a little warm that day but they provided 2 fans to help cool off our guests. Our guests also were coming in and out and arriving at different times, but Bella was so patient in taking everyone's orders and making sure everything was accurate. They were so helpful with providing everything we needed, I couldn't ask for more! Aside from the amazing service, the food was also delicious. The Outlaw might be one of the juiciest and most flavorful burgers I've ever had, I will definitely be coming back even if not hosting a party. I couldn't recommend this location enough!!“

“Delicious food, great atmosphere, great service! I've tried the Premium Ox bone noodle soup, bibimbap, jjajangmyeon, kimbap, and tteokbokki, and all are absolutely delicious! In fact, the tteokbokki is some of the best I've tried. I live out of town, but I will go back here every time I visit here.“

“Blue Line is my favorite pizza place in the Burlingame Avenue area. Their individual pizzas at lunch are perhaps the perfect size. They also always have good beers on tap. Service is expedient and they always do a good job topping off your soda and getting you more drinks as desired. As a plant-based diner, I particularly appreciate their vegan pizza option.

I also use Blue Line for throwing company parties. The truffle mushroom grandma style is the crowd favorite at these events.

It was a team event so we requested a prix fixe menu and budget control. The restaurant was very responsive and go above and beyond to help us with the arrangements. The menu options was good. “We came here after visiting Washington Park with 6 people on a Sunday afternoon. It was hot and we wanted something small and quick to eat and drink while the niners game was on. We originally wanted to sit at the bar but since we had a larger group we opted to sit at a table. We got a round of shots and a Prickly Pear Margarita that was really good. We got the signature French fries flight (truffle, rosemary garlic, bbq) served with herb ranch, chipotle mayo, and ketchup. We also got the Chicken Wing flight (Buffalo, salt n pepper, honey habanero) that came with 9 total wings. And we got a chicken fettuccine Alfredo. It was a good little snack for all of us, service was great. There was air conditioning, but there was a quick black out during the game but it came on pretty quickly! There’s street parking and some lots nearby.“

I had the exotic cocktail (which was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while), The calamari which they also put fried artichoke in it *chefs kiss* and those sauces!!! My goodness the SAUCES separate or together my taste buds were very happy. Last but never least the lobster bisque…. I about picked up the bowl and licked it clean…. “I moved to Burlingame in 2020 and found Fuumi as I was walking down Broadway. It quickly became a favorite with great quality sushi from a very friendly and efficient team.

Over the past 4 years I've probably had more than 50 meals from Fuumi and they've never put a foot wrong with my order and it's always been delicious.

Sadly I've now moved out of state so my Fuumi habit has ended... But to quote Douglas Adams, "so long and thanks for all the fish!"“
