“It was cold out, the wind was coming off the bay and it was a damp wind, the kind that goes all the way down to your bones and make you think of having pot roast or a hearty stew for lunch....But no....she wants a salad....a salad, I said! A damn salad! Take this exit, she pouts out...we'll go to MoBowl and get a salad, they're the best in the area! You'll like it she said.
So when it's cold out, and you have your heart set on pot roast, and she says...it's salad! It's gotta be MoBowl.

“Had a super crispy super burrito. It was very delicious. The avocado was very good and I love the fact that there is no rice in the burrito. Would definitely recommend. There was a line for sitting but I took it to go. The wait wasn't too bad.“

“Always a superior fine American dining experience at Spruce. This place needs its Michelin star back...maybe add another. Our server, Michael, was incredible, and the tasting menu, from the Parker House rolls to the desserts was perfect.

We went for the supplements, which I recommend as an actual additional course, rather than a substitute, as the tasting menu itself is so thoughtfully curated that you don't want to miss out on the chefs rhythm.

Decor remains relaxing and peaceful....my only quibble (and this is of ALL san Francisco restaurants) is that the pacing can feel a wee bit rushed, between courses, especially if you're used to fine dining in other cities, such as New York. But in terms of service, food, and atmosphere...

“Mensho is definitely not worth the wait in my opinion. The line is usually 45min-1hr long. Coupled with the fact that parking is hard to find and the restraunt is tiny and cramped, you are better off going to marufuku or hinodeya.

I had the spicy GKO. Compared to the other garlic ramen I have had in ramenagi this was ok. The chasu is belly slices like marufuku and not the spiral rolled belly cross section which I prefer since it falls apart more easily.

They don't give you a lot of toppings on the ramen. There is no ajitama or menma in the default. Given that the price point is higher than other sf ramens this doesn't seem like value for money.

Clearly other people disagree since there is a line out the door but also the restraunt is tiny so this could be artificial scarcity and the insta hype cycle.“

“It's soo hard to find good vegan tacos. I am very picky and a vegan meat snob. Visited this place for the first time today. The mushroom pastor tacos were PERFECT. So good. Portions are great, reasonably priced. Only thing is finding parking is a little tricky but that's typical of anywhere in the bay. Will be back for sure.“

“Had a luncheon @ Perbacco with my 9 coworkers and Manager to say “goodbye & farewell” to a retiring coworker and “welcome” to a new coworker. Started with a round of hors d'oeuvre’s. The thin sliced veal with a sauce and capers was delicious! The fried shrimp, veggies and olives/anchovies…also with a sauce was awesome as well. For my main, I had CRESTE DI GALLO - semolina pasta - wild mushroom ragu - spinach - ricotta salata. Our waiter was the best! I saved one of the sugar cookies from my deserts…Burnt Carmel Gelato. Mentioned it to our waiter and as we were leaving, I heard “Sir! Sir!” He brought me one of their meringue cookies to also share with my partner! I thought that was just awesome! The restaurant staff was very friendly and welcoming to our pups, and they arranged our seats in a corner so the dogs could use more space to rest. The food is exquisite as usual.
