40 Best Vegan Restaurants in San Bruno

“The best Palestinian/Jordanian/Lebanese food ever! So happy it’s open again in San Bruno 😍“

“Great crispy carnitas. Huge and well constructed burritos. Amazing salsa bar. This is a perfect taqueria.

When we went it was crowded and took a while to receive food. To me this is a good thing, because they took their time to prepare good food. Also parking was somewhat hard to find in its industrial neighborhood. Plan accordingly!“

“Great tasting authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. Owners from Gaza Strip originally.“

“Atlas is a unique place. I’ve stopped by with friends for an event but not really had the full Atlas experience until tonight. I had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The Italian garlic combo! Friendly staff, wine and beer, tonight there was live music on the patio area. Max the owner is a wonderful host who is very active in the San Bruno community. Atlas is bringing good times back to down town San Bruno. Make it one of your first post pandemic stops!“

“My son and I YELPED for Mexican food.Good Mexican Food, and decided to give this place a try. I had the Spicy Shrimp Plate, and my son had the Steak and Spicy Prawns. They also provide Tortilla Chips and a Salsa Bar. The guy who cooked our food, knows how to cook! My shrimp was absolutely a balance of green/red peppers, onions, in a slightly sweet, savory and mildly spicy sauce. The Rice was done just right(not dried out). The Black Beans, were tender, with just the right amount of salt. The Iceberg lettuce and sliced radish was cold, fresh and crispy— Served with a dollop of sour cream, avocado sauce; a slice of tomato and sprinkle of Mexican cheese top the salad - it did a nice job to balance the heat of the main course. Everything was well executed. The overall indoor atmosphere is very clean, simple and no frills. Love their neon menu signage. And, their prices are reasonable. Thank you for the delicious meal. We will be back.“

“Love this restaurant!! Came for the first time tonight with my friends and the flavors and quality of the food was beyond what I've experienced from any other Korean restaurant in the Bay. I'm so happy with the all the things I got to eat“

“Excelente servicio 🙂…………..“

“I had lunch at Roma Deli and ordered a chicken sandwich that was delicious.

The person who served me was patient and professional, from our phone conversation all the way to the in-person order.

The place is clean, tidy, the team is great and the service was quick, I barely waited. Fresh ingredients.

I was going through a stressful situation as my flight at San Francisco Airport was disrupted and I had been given hotel and meal vouchers. Roma Deli accepted the meal vouchers without any hassle, which I really appreciated.

I would definitely recommend this place to international travelers staying nearby, or anyone simply looking for a great sandwich. Thank you“

The home made teriyaki sauce added to everything. Already looking forward to coming again. The food here is awesome

“Spiral has amazing food. The sushi is delicious. The employees are also wonderful, warm and friendly.“

“This is our choice local sushi place when we are in and around San Mateo Ave in San Bruno, CA. It's quite affordable and for under $20, you can the 3 item bento box. They also have several special dishes. The only caveat is the paid street or rear lot parking of $1.50/hr.“

“Good service and good food!!!“

“Had a fantastic experience this evening. I came in after a long flight and they accidentally forgot an add-on to my burrito and promptly made me a new one for me. Now I have 2 delicious burritos and they didn’t charge me any extra. I really appreciate when restaurants go the extra mile for their customers and I can’t thank them enough for their service this evening!“

“Delicious vegan options!😋“

“Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! My Chinese friend said, “This tastes just like the food my dad used to make when I was a child.” I think that says it all. Authentic, comforting, and full of flavor. We will definitely be back!“

“Super good!!! Would recommend to anyone. Big portions“

“Excellent cuisine and service“

“This place serves really good Indian food! Recently, I came to know that they offer two types of thali. One comes with dal makhani, curry, raita, and salad, while the other is their lunch plate, which is available on weekdays during lunch.

The only feedback I have is that they could reduce the quantity of rice a little and include half a roti with the lunch plate and thali. That way, we wouldn’t have to choose between adding rice or naan—we could enjoy both.

Overall, the food is really good, and I would definitely recommend trying it!“

“Serving authentic Filipino food. All staff is very accommodating. The place gives nothing but good vibes and great food. A must visit Filipino restaurant in San Francisco California. 10 out of 10 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇺🇸🇵🇭“

“Good taco salads here in their San Bruno location. It was $11.29 + $2.49 for the added steak. That crispy flicky taco shell revivals the best of them. Free chips! If you want to mix it up, their mango salsa is a very unique La Salsa thing. They tend to get rid of the mango salsa during the holiday season though. Plenty of seats and service was excellent for a counter ordering restaurant. The cashier is also the chef.

About La Salsa, I used to visit their SF Battery St. location near my office in the 2000's before they closed. Also previously in the 2000's, I used to visit their Mountain View location every other Saturday before going to Fry's Electronics. Their food is healthy if you order the right things.“

“Pros: Fresh and good food. friendly staff, very affordable Cons: Hard to find a place to park in that part of town.“

“Love their service and their sashimi and sushi. Very good and !“

“Great food, good price, and quick service - my sisters and I look at it as an extension of our kitchen “

“Chicken Papaya Salad and Beef Garlic Noodles…Both were delicious!“

“Waiters were super friendly“

“Solid pho place with good portions of tender steak meat. Broth could use more umami flavor and noodles could be chewier. The place is clean but a bit dim for my liking. I know they were going for a peaceful vibe with their background music, but it almost put me to sleep. Service is friendly and efficient.“

“Great Sunset neighborhood Indian/Pakistani restaurant. Friendly service. Accommodates my spice shy palate. Recently introduced thali lunch boxes perfect for single diners. Reasonable prices.“

“I really liked the Binagoongan Rice. The flavor was there. It’s a meal by itaself and the portuon was large.“

“The charcoal grills are a new experience for me. It was awesome! Food was delicious! Service was great! My only complaint would be for the ventilation to be better/stronger. I know to expect to smell like KBBQ after, but I think ventilation can be improved.“

“I was impressed with my passionfruit tea with a bit of real pulp and seeds. It was $5.50 for the standard large size (24 oz) with a topping, an amazing deal in 2026. They definitely back off the ice if requested, sweetness is slightly high (their 50% is closer to my palate's 70%), and I appreciate the option to choose between green or black teas. The strawberry jellies are tasty, but were harder to suck up the straw. Service was fast and the interior has some tables with C-pop in the background; I'd be glad to hang out with my friends here.“

“Food was delicious and great service“

“i recommend the Scorpion Burger & the Burnin' Love burgers. I've had both recently. they're both Very Yummy. I got mine with a Veggie patty as I don't eat Meat. I love both, but the Scorpion burger is My Favorite. 😁😁“
