“Atlas is a unique place. I’ve stopped by with friends for an event but not really had the full Atlas experience until tonight. I had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The Italian garlic combo! Friendly staff, wine and beer, tonight there was live music on the patio area. Max the owner is a wonderful host who is very active in the San Bruno community. Atlas is bringing good times back to down town San Bruno. Make it one of your first post pandemic stops!“

“I met the owner of this place while doing rideshare. At the end of the trip he said, “Since you got me home safely, come by my sandwich shop and I’ll have my people hook you up.”
His staff was just as friendly as he was, and the sandwich tasted even better than I expected.
My recommendation: turkey and salami with lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a toasted French roll with garlic sauce only.
The taste isn’t something to die for, it’s something to live and stay alive for.

“My son and I YELPED for Mexican food.Good Mexican Food, and decided to give this place a try. I had the Spicy Shrimp Plate, and my son had the Steak and Spicy Prawns. They also provide Tortilla Chips and a Salsa Bar. The guy who cooked our food, knows how to cook! My shrimp was absolutely a balance of green/red peppers, onions, in a slightly sweet, savory and mildly spicy sauce. The Rice was done just right(not dried out).The Black Beans, were tender, with just the right amount of salt. The Iceberg lettuce and sliced radish was cold, fresh and crispy— Served with a dollop of sour cream, avocado sauce; a slice of tomato and sprinkle of Mexican cheese top the salad - it did a nice job to balance the heat of the main course. Everything was well executed. The overall indoor atmosphere is very clean, simple and no frills. Love their neon menu signage. And, their prices are reasonable. Thank you for the delicious meal. We will be back.“

“Fantastic Korean food. The owners were super friendly. The staff was amazing and the food was superb. Some places are either too salty or no flavor but K-Grill & Tofu House was on the spot. All our food was perfect. The eel was soft and so flavorful.

The cold Beef Bibimbap was also very delicious. Add the red spicy and sweet sauce and you got yourself a sweet spicy cold bowl of awesomeness.“

“Great poke near SFO! About $20 for a huge bowl with 5 kinds of sashimi — perfect for anyone trying to eat light but stay full. I picked tuna, salmon, octopus, scallops, and another fish, with brown rice, veggies, and spicy mayo. Super fresh and filling until the end of the workday.

Ordering is easy — you just check boxes on the menu, no need for much talking (introvert-friendly ✅). The place is clean and casual, great for a quick healthy lunch.

They also have curry chicken katsu (crispy and delicious), sushi, ramen, and takoyaki. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!“

“First time coming to this place. From the outside it looks like a creepy scene from Stranger Things. Inside felt like we jumped out of Doc Brown's DeLorean and right into 1989. The place had an old wood smell and it was really cold. There was 2 small groups there, a young group of 3 and an older group of 3. The waitress was an older Asian lady and she was extremely kind and sweet. The food wasnt bad considering everything else. The food was also priced well. We wanted to get pie but wasnt sure how long its been sitting there. Would definitely be a place to go if I ever wanna do a Mob style meet up lol. But seriously, over it was cool.“

“One of the best places to get food late night in Millbrae. We've come here a couple times the night before our flight out of SFO and every time it's delicious and the bartender has always been super friendly and poured a great glass of wine.“

“If definitely satisfied the craving for indian food. My boyfriend and i have nut allergies and the staff was very attentive and made sure there would be no cross contamination. The chicken vindaloo was great paired with the garlic naan and the complimentary rice they serve you. The chana masala was decent but not my favorite that i’ve tried. “Good taco salads here in their San Bruno location. It was $11.29 + $2.49 for the added steak. That crispy flicky taco shell revivals the best of them. Free chips! If you want to mix it up, their mango salsa is a very unique La Salsa thing. They tend to get rid of the mango salsa during the holiday season though. Plenty of seats and service was excellent for a counter ordering restaurant. The cashier is also the chef.

About La Salsa, I used to visit their SF Battery St. location near my office in the 2000's before they closed. Also previously in the 2000's, I used to visit their Mountain View location every other Saturday before going to Fry's Electronics. Their food is healthy if you order the right things.“

“This beautiful little haven is tucked in among the storefronts on San Mateo Avenue. Once you step inside, you are pleased to find a very clean and beautifully decorated interior. There are artfully framed pictures of several of the dishes served. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The chef is skilled. The whole experience was extremely enjoyable.“

“I love this damn place! I am from LA County and just HAVE to stop here at some point whenever I visit. I usually get the shao mai, beef roll pancake, or the pork shrimp dumplings w/ chives. Recently tried the pan fried Shanghai dumplings and enjoyed them. That honey flavored grapefruit drink? Maaaaaan SO GOOD. I usually get two of those because they are just so tasty and refreshing.“

They definitely back off the ice if requested, sweetness is slightly high (their 50% is closer to my palate's 70%), and I appreciate the option to choose between green or black teas. The strawberry jellies are tasty, but were harder to suck up the straw. Service was fast and the interior has some tables with C-pop in the background; I'd be glad to hang out with my friends here.“

Every time we come here, we feel welcome and it's a relaxing atmosphere. This is essential when you have little ones in tow. The price did go up, unfortunately, but it's expected given our country's current economic situation. We had the combination pho.

Update: We got a banh mi to-go for our child and asked them to omit the spice. They agreed but we still found the sandwich spicy. There was something spicy mixed up in there, perhaps a cucumber they brined? Not sure. Hoping it's just one-time glitch.“
