“Atlas is a unique place. I’ve stopped by with friends for an event but not really had the full Atlas experience until tonight. I had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The Italian garlic combo! Friendly staff, wine and beer, tonight there was live music on the patio area. Max the owner is a wonderful host who is very active in the San Bruno community. Atlas is bringing good times back to down town San Bruno. Make it one of your first post pandemic stops!“

“I placed an order for carry out. When I arrived the guy told me that he had just put it in the oven, I waited just about eight minutes.. I normally don’t buy Papa John’s pizza because I feel they’re a little pricey but honestly, I must’ve forgotten why. The ingredients really do taste better. Everything was delicious. The red sauce was so good. I’m a Alfredo person but dang delicious. Glad I switched it up. I ordered a barbecue chicken pizza and a super Hawaiian. I tried both and thought both were delicious, also they don’t skimp on toppings. Good service they asked if I wanted Parmesan, pepper, napkins, plates. No missing garlic dipping cups or peppers everything was right. Staff was super friendly professional, and helped me with using my Groupon bucks because I couldn’t figure it out. Amazing staff!“

“As a Turkish who’s been living in the Bay Area for a long time, I have to say this is easily the BEST LAHMACUN and TURKISH PİDE I’ve had around here!!!

You can order the lahmacun spicy or not (which is amazing) and the dough is exactly how it should be; thin, crispy, and loaded with toppings, just like in Turkey. We later noticed they had pastırmalı pide on the menu and immediately had to order one, especially after finding out the pastırma actually comes from Turkey.

Three of us shared two lahmacuns and one pide and it was more than enough. Everything was fresh and seriously delicious.

The hospitality also deserves a mention. The team was incredibly warm and attentive, and they even offered us tea, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic.

“It's been a classic in SF for so long for a reason. This is a must visit. Book early or you will not get in. If you fail to get in look up their sister restaurant penny roma, also incredible. The best deal here is the tasting menu. You 100% get your money's worth and get to try several off menu items. I live a 2+ hour flight away and I'll always try to get a table when I visit.“

“I had ordered a meatball sandwich with garlic potato wedges through Uber Eats to be delivered to VA Hospital where I work it took about 30 minutes to receive my food was still warm the potatoes were still crispy and warm and it was a lot of food so definitely worth

“These photos are from two separate visits. Vega is amazing! Very much a family atmosphere, the staff is amazing and so friendly. Their wine selection is also great and they can help you choose a wine to pair with dinner. I believe the owner or someone owns a wine store down the street so it makes sense. Menu is small for a reason, all of the options are great but the arugula salad and the gnocchi are so delicious. This place is a hidden gem.“

“I got this place my app recommendation. The place is very neat 👌 I was surprised how clean and organized looks like. No the usual place pizza. It decorated with world flags make it unique. It seems has live music but not today or at least at the time I was there. Pizza is delicious and crunchy.“

“We’ve always been thin crust pizza fans, have never tasted authentic NY style pizza, though we have had Napoli-style pizza several times in Rome, and we gotta say, the crust here is AMAZING!! The only slight change that I think would make it taste even better is if there was a bit more salt in the dough. Other than that, the bottom of the pizza was crisp, and the crust was airy and crisp with a slight chew. The crust was so delicious that we saved all our uneaten crusts to bring home for later, could not bear to throw them away (unlike other, more bready crusts). 😆 The pepperoni pizza was our favorite (so flavorful), with the sausage being a close second. The margherita was nice with the fresh basil, but could have used a sprinkling of salt. Our younger son really wanted to try the corn pizza, but we could only manage to finish 3 pizzas with our family of 7, so he has already declared that this will be his pick for his birthday meal, and that he will be getting the corn pizza. 😆 Wish it were closer to us (we live around 30 mins away), but it is not too far for special occasions! From where we live, comparatively, Mountain Mike’s and Porky’s Pizza Palace would be rated 2 or 3 out of 10 and Spinning Dough would be 9/10! Would totally buy it frozen if they offered that, it is that good! Was also a treat for the kids to watch the owner (who is super, super nice!) toss the dough and assemble the pizzas. There’s a little room to eat inside but most take it out. $7 for a slice of cheese surprised me until I saw the slice. It was made to order so I waited a bit but worth it.
