“Ok so you got snarky with me bcuz you thought I was in the wrong line to pick up my order but I'm going to let that go. You down sized your smoothie cup as well as the Sunday? It's ok we are all trying to survive here. I've had two teeth extractions recently and had a overwhelming craving for something cold and refreshing. My go to is either the fruit smoothie a delicious blend of berries with just enough ice for the right thickness. The strawberry Sunday wax also satisfying despite the strawberry sauce is only on the top and very little on the bottom compared to the layers I had before. My husband gobbled down his hot dog so fast I didn't know if it was that good or we were just starved! Thank you for hydrating me after my surgery yesterday it was just what I needed!“
“MOD pizza is still offering vegan cheese, so if you're doing Veganuary, Mod is a perfect place to get a delicious, hot, fresh vegan pizza.Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian pizzas and can make many of the others vegetarian and even vegan.Parking: Large free parking lot with cut curbs and designated handicapped parking.Kid-friendliness: There were kids with their parents eating in at mod Pizza without issues. Great fast casual restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Cut curbs, marked spaces and a double entrance door, as well tables with chairs should make it easier to dine at mod while using a wheelchair.“
“I savored every bite of my meal, transported back home with each flavorful morsel. This small family-owned gem is a labor of love, with every family member pouring their heart and soul into crafting dishes that truly warm the soul. The service was as genuine and friendly as can be, making me feel like a cherished guest in their home. It's clear that every dish is prepared with love, and that love shines through in every delicious bite. Highly recommend this place to everyone!!!“
“Found this place to eat by our hotel at the airport in San Francisco last night. Highly recommend everyone to go there if you want a great spot for dinner. Our server Katrina was amazing. She was so attentive and knowledgeable. The food was a combination of all different types of food around Italy. She told us the menu is always changing depending on seasonal ingredients. The wine is all Italian as well and the chef is from northern Italy we were told. The atmosphere was amazing. Great vibe in there and it was packed on a Wednesday night. We loved everything we tried especially the bone marrow, beet salad, tagliatelle, pizza and especially the sheep ricotta doughnuts. I would definitely go back. Probably the best service I have had in Bay Area as well.“
“Sat in the back patio, which was nice and warm and covered. Food was solid. We didn’t like the pear burrata special, but the pizzas were quality (we got the sausage honey and sausage broccolini pizzas). The bread pudding dessert was solid too. Overall, recommend this “
“I had the scallops with the risotto and corn. No sauce. 3 others in the party had the same dish with the sauce, none of them finished the meal with that sauce on the risotto. They should rethink that dish, it was sooooo good without it. The restaurant is too expensive to serve a meal to a party plated as described on the menu and no one like it. It was a waste of money for those 3 people. It's was loud.“
“I can't believe it took me so long to try the pizza here! I thought it'd be just another pizza place, but I was so wrong. Weirdly enough, we ended up ordering here because we wanted boneless chicken wings and this place had some. So we ordered the boneless chicken wings and a pizza (half Tuscan Garlic, which has a white sauce base, and the other half was a custom request of a white sauce base with salami). And WOW. The white sauce is so deliciously creamy, and the toppings tasted so fresh and were just bursting with flavor. Even the crust is yummy. The chicken wings were delicious too (they're shaped more like balls, fyi). They have a thick crispy breadcrumb style coating. I like dipping them in the white garlic sauce that came with it.“
“Me and my parents love this place. You pay a little more, but the quality is worth it. The usual is the Con Todo which is excellent and a side order of lemon pepper wings. When I want a high quality pizza in Atherton/Menlo Park, I go here.People are great and Omar is super welcoming and friendly. Awesome spot to bring friends and family. Parking is a little tight and it can be a little confusing to get to on your first visit, but it's well worth it.“
“This is my first time visiting Itálico for my birthday! The food is excellent. The service was phenomenal and everyone absolutely delightful. Michael was so attentive and hospitable! He genuinely wanted to get to know my family and I, and was so sweet. Super profesional and kind to all. He made my family feel super welcomed and felt like a queen on my birthday! Our server was also Carlos was absolutely excellent and gave amazing service to us and everyone else!! He was so funny and always made sure we were all good. I recommend everyone try this restaurant! Graziie Mille Michael . -Haydee “
“Super nice staff. The food wasn’t particularly outstanding (the pasta was pretty bland and a bit overcooked), though it did come out quickly. The atmosphere is very red sauce Italian—if you’re into that, you’ll like this place. I personally found the atmosphere a bit much, but I can see what they were going for and how others might like that.“
“Just tried Neighborhood Pizza Guy in Menlo Park and wow, what a find! The pizza here is next level – they’ve got this perfectly crispy crust and the pepperoni is exceptionally crispy, adding a fantastic crunch to every bite. What really sets them apart is their unique, special pizzas that change weekly, always bringing something new and exciting to the table. And let’s talk about Matt, the owner. The guy’s amazing – friendly, passionate about his pizza, and makes everyone feel like a regular. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-try. Great vibes, amazing pizza!“
“I order pizzas for my 1 year olds birthday party at a park in Palo Alto. Their online ordering was easy and fast use. The delivery guy was super friendly and helpful he carried out pizzas and wings all the way to our table at the park. I’ve always been a fan of New York Pizza, their wings are by far the best I’ve had at a pizza place and their pizzas are fire!!!“
“Delicious pizza. I got the Brotherly Love and I was impressed. I called in my order and arrived 15 minutes after. Plenty of parking. Clean spot. Will be back to try other things on the menu.Parking: More than 10 spotsWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Been ordering delivery for a while now, but first time visit to pick up order to feed the crew. Didn't even know they had a fresh salad bar. They treat you like family and offer you a drink while you wait. Good pizza with massive toppings, clean establishment, and most importantly, excellent customer service. Thanks again Dave!“
“Delicious pizza! I love their customer service it was so on point like everything I asked I got the nicest people helping answer my questions and this pizza was so good, the salad was so good too. The decorations in here are fun too.It was nice to get some pizza to go also we had a great road trip eating leftovers from here!“
“One of our favorite family restaurants.I've been going there since my internship in 2010, when my son was a wee baby. Now, it's his favorite, comfort food place as a teen. Our favorites: the Greek wines, horiatiki salad, lamb gyros, cheesy garlic breadFresh foodFamiliar service..Bud, Sophia,. MichaelWe also cater from here once a month“
“We tried the 8-hour bolognese, the local black cod, and the citrus burrata. They were absolutely perfect, no seasoning was needed. Everything was locally fresh, impressive, and yet so familiar; great setting for perfect comfort food in a family-owned restaurant. We regret we didn’t try their signature Dungeness crab pasta and that will be something for another visit. This experience was an excellent surprise on our work trip.“
“Came here with some friends who recommended the place. Pizza was very good but a little on the pricey side. Great beer selection. Tried several. Looks like the inside of this place hasn't changed in years. Definitely has a locals kind of feel.“
“Great place for lunch and dinner. Perfect tasting pizza all around. Always a welcoming staff and killer drinks! One of a kind super tasty sparkling Shirley temple too ( only because it's on tap! )A very great experience with this place. Highly recommend checking it out. Quick, easy, TASTY and a bunch of options too!“
“Delicious and fresh! Picked my son up from SFO and wanted quality pizza. Stopped here and was not disappointed! The gentlemen that worked here were friendly and kind. We will definitely make it a point to stop by whenever we’re in the area.“
“Vegan here! I enjoyed my meal at the State of Mind Spice House. Although the vegan pizza could have used a few extra toppings, it was still pretty decent. The “old-fashioned“ soda was a nice addition. The young men working the counter were friendly and fun to interact with. There were a few seats inside, but given the Bay Area weather, it was nice to get a seat outside and enjoy the weather and pizza together.Dietary restrictions: The vegan cheese is a homemade cashew cheese.Kid-friendliness: The environment is very welcoming to children. If they are loud, you should be able to grab a seat outside without an issue.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is ground level, so getting in and out shouldn’t be a problem.“
“Best pizza on this side of the bay! My husband and I have been ordering from Slice House since it opened here and the pizza is always a solid 10. Great flavor, great quality, and the perfect amount of pizza for the price. Service is great too! Staff is always helpful and friendly and the wait time is never too long. The New York style pepperoni and paesano are our faves, definitely stop by if you are in the mood for pizza!“
“Wow! This sweet little pizza shop is making amazing pizzas! Owner Matt Burr greeted us himself. He's super friendly; we felt right at home. We had a cheese pizza with 4 toppings of our choice. Perfectly topped with a really flavorful tomato sauce base. The crust though? That was what clinched it-- chewy and charred to perfection. Matt's shop is clean and comfortable with plenty of seating. Couldn't have had a better pizza experience! Just wow!“
“My wife and I were in the San Francisco area for a week and had generally excellent food. My wife found this restaurant via Google and we decided to visit because of the good reviews and proximity to our Airbnb. We were not sure what to expect as this restaurant was so close to airport and there were many open tables. We had an excellent experience!!! The food and wine were top tier as well as the service. For entrees we had rack of lamb and the linguine lobster. The food was perfectly prepared and of extremely high quality. Towards the end of the meal we go into a discussion with the owner on wineries to visit in Napa/Sonoma. We were both very passionate about wine and at the end she comp’d us a bottle of very expensive wine from her favorite winery. Don’t hesitate to try JC Bruno- you will love it.“
“Best pizza in the bay, if you know you know.I've eaten Totos my whole life. I'm 40. Won't stop won't quit. BEST PIZZA IN THE BAY!Parking: Parking is decent for it's location.Kid-friendliness: Good family restaurant, good memories.“
“It's a pick up location in an industrial area of San Mateo. Clam & Garlic pizza - the garlic was strong and the clams seemed not super fresh (guessing it's canned). The crust was crispy.Combo pizza - I preferred this one. Combo pizza doesn't usually have zucchini but it worked. The tomato sauce was a little bland but the sausage brought some salt.“
“I LOVE PJ'S!! Not only do they have the best pie in San Mateo, but yesterday I tried their chicken pesto sandwich and it was to die for. Phillip and his lovely wife also treat me & my family so well. It's a must-try if you are in the San Mateo area!“
“This is such a wonderful and warm place. The staff and owner are very cordial and kind. The food and especially the halal pizza were exceptional. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. I would also like to especially thank Dixit who was so kind and helpful.5 stars!!“
“Fantastic family friendly spot with amazing food. The shrimp and grits app was delicious and the grits were like a polenta cake and had great flavor. The pizza was thin with a little char and good crust. Cesar salad had a really good dressing and was very fresh. The Chicken Parmesan had great flavor, nice lightly breaded chicken with spaghetti. Can't wait to go back and try some more.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families enjoying dinner.“
“As an Italian always desperately trying to find good pizzerias in the USA…. I think I have found my favourite one. Ingredients are fresh and authentic, and the pizza is just SO GOOD! And not heavy at all! Because that’s how a pizza should be: an healthy meal! Definitely worth it, spend all your money there, great Italian food guaranteed.“
“Stayed at 1550 hotel across street and got a to go order of wings & Greek salad. Walked over early and food was ready but wish I ate in. Place had a good vibe and was comfortable with a nice bar to sit at. Saw a pizza come out of the oven that looked amazing-great looking crust!!! Our Zorba wings were hit & fresh with a tasty sauce. If I’m in this area I’m coming back.“
“Great food, great taste and flavors, great prices! Service was great and the restaurant was clean, nice, and roomy. The spice level was perfect and the naan was fresh. Would definitely go back! There's a parking lot across the street that is convenient and I see many people picking up take out orders as well.“
“Family owned and run and so delicious! The samosas are unlike the tough crusted ones elsewhere. The dough must be a family recipe because the crust on these is tender, yet crisp. Also, the mint dipping sauce has a nice spicy kick that rivals the tamarind sauce for memorable flavor and mint isn't even a favorite flavor of mine. Their chicken korma is also really good. I've stopped comparing kormas because they vary so widely, but theirs is warming and comforting like the best of them. I ordered everything with medium heat and for me, it was perfectly spiced, lingering on the tongue only a few minutes, but I will try it even spicier next time.Parking: Follow map that Curry & Kebab features on Google Maps. A little unclear if you can park in the covered parking area while the spa store is still open, but there are plenty of spots beyond. Note: this is a one way parking lot that exits onto Ivy St. You can circle the block to get back onto El Camino.“
“I’ve only ordered delivery (free with min purchase) every time the rotisserie chicken is always juicy even the white meat, pizza is good - tried both gluten free and regular, lasagna is very tasty. Quality of the food has consistently been very good.“
“The place is quiet and relaxing, the menu sets themood. They have a very wide variety to offer in pizza both classic Italian and the fusion Indian ones, the place is neat and clean , unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy the bar since we were early in the day. The garlic bread was really something to try. The one thing that stood out exceptionally well was the pizza were really really very well made and generously topped with veggies and paneer alike which really makes the experience worthwhile unlike many other places in the Bay Area. Last but not the least the host was really really nice.“
“I have FOUND my pizza!! From the fresh, delicious crust to the plentiful toppings! I’ve been looking for a good pizza in the Redwood City area and was pointed towards vesta- which is not to my liking at all!! I recommend you try New York pizza, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!“
“Awesome appetisers, salads and crudette plates. My friend enjoyed the selection of wines. Great jazz ensemble on Thursday nights. Friendly patrons.Parking: I parked in the Box building after 5pm. Also some paid street parking but you need to get lucky to find a space after 5.Wheelchair accessibility: This is ground floor and plenty of tables are available.Dietary restrictions: I don't eat pork, there are plenty of options. I think they have a few gluten free options.“
“Would have never guessed this place was here and I’m glad I know now. Doesn’t give your typical vibe of a pizza spot either, but they live up to the mystery. Service is quick, pizza is good, cocktail selection has good options and don’t skip out on dessert.Carne Pizza: topped with all the meats and very good. Added a side of ranch dressing but wasn’t necessary. Very good ranch thoughBanana Cream Pie: one of the best I’ve ever had.Parking: Parking lot on the side with plenty of spacesWheelchair accessibility: Accessible and Welcomed“
“A surprise to say the least. Being from the East coast, specifically Philly/NYC I am very critical of pizza. The pizza options were many and all delicious. Yes, I said all! Being able to attend a small family party I was given the chance to try many types of pizza as well as the wings and the Caesar salad. The dough was very light, crispy and a nice fresh flavor, tomato sauce was mildly sweet, with a good amount of tomato chunks. The cheese on several was better than most, but still had more oil than what I like. Pepperonis were small, but plentiful with great flavor. The prosciutto and Arugula topped pizza was my favorite and the biggest hit at the affair. I would rank this place as better than most and can easily stand up against East Coast pizza. The meatballs lacked consistency in taste as well as being held together with breadcrumbs and egg if the made them that way. Don’t get me wrong, the meatballs were good, just not what I want to see in a meatball.Lucky if you live in Burlingame as this place would be on my frequent short list of places to eat.“
“Im new to the area! On a walk i stopped by and it was very busy, line out the door. The gentleman, Tyler, was so positive, smooth, and effective in his handling of the rush. He was so cheerful and had a lot of good communication with his clients. I will come back for Tyler's service again soon! Keep up the great work sir!“
“Si nice to have a good Italian restaurant in Menlo Park! The outside patio is super cute and weather doesn't seem to make as big a difference as one may imagine. They have a covered area and big heaters throughout. The staff is friendly and the servers quite knowledgeable and offer suggestions for your meal. They do recommend family style (sharing) but we also got a couple of individual items. The pizza is probably my favorite part - it's a sourdough crust, which is probably why it's a close second only to the pizza I've had in Rome. Plenty of options for vegetarian/pescatarian folks, which we appreciated! Pictured are the octopus w tomatillo salsa verde and potato, and the vongole en crosta, which were killer! They are clams steamed INSIDE calzone-like pocket of love. Vongole is served table side where they add olive oil and fresh lemon juice. So good!“
“I ordered a large pizza tonight for my family. First time trying Seniores Pizza downtown San Mateo. Pizza was very tasty and a very fluffy crust. I love a good crust and wasn’t floppy or loaded with grease, which is a plus. I will order from them again.“
“Wow. We DoorDashed some chicken tikka masala because my bf was hungry. I do not like chicken breast because it is overcooked and tough. I normally enjoy fish curries as it is more tender. This chicken tikka masala tastes even better than Pakwan must I say!! The curry tasted so flavorful and has the perfect consistency. You can see that the chicken is pre-marinated as the outside has a red coating on the chicken. Garlic naan was delicious. Must try!“
“It’s a very delicious place. My favorite is the honey garlic boneless wings! It’s super delicious! The pizza was crispy and good. This was the second time my sister and i went. Both times we went it was between 10pm-1am so it was practically empty but customers were still coming in and everyone was treated kindly. The guy working there was really nice. Recommend 10/10!!“
“The nachos with carne asada and a michelada! That is a perfect meal.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian and seafood options.Kid-friendliness: We come with our grandkids and the staff is welcoming to us.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps and the restaurant is at ground level.“
“I recently tried the Hawaiian pizza at Mr Pizza Man in San Mateo, and it was absolutely delightful! The combination of sweet pineapple, savory ham, and melted cheese created a perfect balance of flavors. The crust was just the right amount of crispy, and the overall quality of the pizza exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Hawaiian pizza at Mr Pizza Man for anyone craving a delicious and satisfying pizza experience. It's definitely worth a try!“
“When my grandkids come over we all love to order one of the big supreme 20", 16 slice pizzas. Lots for everyone and the Greek salad is great with their special vinaigrette dressing. Get what your paying for here and enjoy the superb pizza sauce and fresh toppings! Family owned and run in our neighborhood. From small to giant pizzas, they have one for you!“
“We ordered the pepperoni pizza. It's a little smaller than a sheet of paper, cut into 4 and good for 2 people to share. It's very good! It's not heavy as I would think being a deep dish type. The crust was crispy but not hard and perfectly baked (golden). The bread was light and fluffy. There was plenty of cupped pepperoni. Too bad we're not from the area.“
“Vegetarian options: They had a Gluten Free option for my kid was a bit expensive about $24 with tip but was delicious nonetheless.Parking: Parking was difficult, was able to find parking in the garage however eventually. Was about a 2 min walk.“
“We have had great luck with the food quality and taste at this location. The one time they did accidentally deliver us the incorrect item, it was fixed and they were back at our doorstep so quickly- it was hardly an inconvenience. They even provided us free breadsticks as an apology for the initial error.“
