About Golden Boy Pizza

Golden Boy Pizza, with locations in San Mateo and San Francisco, is known for its pan pizza with a unique, almost focaccia-like texture. The small menu features a popular clam and garlic pizza, which is highly recommended by customers. While individual slices are only available in San Francisco, customers can order small or large pans in San Mateo. The pizza crust is often described as not as crispy as expected, but the ingredients are above average and offer good value. Many reviewers appreciate the fair pricing, especially since the pizza is served in 4 or 8 pieces. There are no tables or chairs for dining in, and calling ahead is advised due to the 30-40 minute baking time and busy order volume. Parking is available on the street or sidewalk. The San Francisco location is noted for its distinct crust, possibly due to the pans or oven, making it a unique experience. Service is friendly and efficient, with a focus on pickup orders. Customers have praised the restaurant for serving the San Mateo area and for its delicious pizza, which even the toughest critic found enjoyable.

Super good pizza good price
Excellent excellent pesto vegetarian pizza, the crust is wonderful and the large is huge, only $30.00 before tax. You cannot beat it!!
This pizza is not like a traditional woodfired style. It's a focaccia crust. Light and crispy, plenty of decent quality toppings. Super friendly staff. Can't believe I've never been here before. If your in the mood for a Focaccia pizza, this is the place!
