“Food was very tasty. I got a Thai tea to drink, egg roll and fried rice to start and then pad Thai for my meal. It was busy so it did take a little bit to get staffs attention but understandable as it was dinner time. The food was yummy!”
“Enjoyed omakase 8pcs with some age dashi tofu, nigori sake and the white peach panna cotta!”
“First time here. Long line to get in but it moved fairly quickly. Had the Roast beef Aburasoba. Mind-Boggling GOOD! The flavor was out of this world! The service was fantastic!! I can’t wait to go back again!”
“Once of those great authentic cuban restaurant. Their food and drinks are one of a kind. They have this distinct taste that they can be proud to compete in the food industry. Definitely and highly recommended. Our top choice when it comes to cuban cravings.”

“This place brings bold flavors to life. The General Tso’s Chicken was crispy and sweet, while the Dan Dan Noodles had a spicy kick that kept me coming back for more. Definitely a must-visit.”
“just top tier

“I found this bakery when I was looking for a place to purchase alfajores and I was so happy to have found it! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my first visit was nothing but a very nice experience. Two young men behind the counter seemed really friendly and helpful. The other customers in the store at the time seemed very happy. I came for alfajores today, but I will definitely go back for more alfajores and other goodies!”
“After my friend took me here, I came back the very next day and bring my other friends. It's a hidden authentic chinese restaurant. Food is very good. Price is very fair or even on the cheaper side. Dish portion is big.. The parking is a little bit not easy during busy hours. Only one lady serves the tables. She was quite busy.
Very happy knowing this place and will be back.”
“The outdoor patio was perfect for our Sunday brunch and our 18th Anniversary. We’ve celebrated many occasions at All Spice and have always had a stellar experience with the staff and the food. Our table felt intimate — we were sharing a large space with four other tables, appropriately distanced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Again, all Covid-19 compliant. The food, oh the food! The Dutch baby was perfectly cooked and the fruit fillings were gorgeous. The chicken sandwich was out of this world. The Mimosa and hard apple cider beverages were on point. We always love our meals at All Spice and this time was no exception. It’s a total gem!”
“Manny was great! He provided excellent customer service, was incredibly friendly, and took the time to talk with customers to make sure everyone was satisfied with their experience. His positive attitude and attentiveness really stood out and made our visit even more enjoyable.”
Outdoor Dining
“I've been going here for a long time, life happens that you stop going to certain places. You get caught up with what you need to do you forget. A co-worker had brought some in for a party and it just brought back memories eating this and ice cream with family.
I recently went with my co-worker to come back for more of the delicious cannoli. I was surprised to see that the place hasn't changed at all. Everything still made in house. Prices like everything are up. My co-worker and I had split 24 minis, we were surprised to pay $42 for each but bit the bullet and paid up. Now that I look at the menu, we got ripped off LOL. It's cheaper to buy 1 dozen for $72 and you cut it yourself. You save $12 🤦♀..note to self and everyone else..
The cannolis were heavenly and much enjoyed by my family. It was a once in a while treat, not something I'd do weekly. We had tiramisu, chocolate, and original. It's a toss up for me between tiramisu or original. Everyone loves the cannoli shell. I had a tiramisu shake as well and it was delicious. I just wish they had a bigger straw.
Treat yourself and your loved ones, I highly recommend this place especially if you're craving authentic cannolis”
“We had an absolutely lovely experience here! Came for my boyfriend’s birthday, everyone was friendly and attentive. Fantastic high end ambience. The food was almost too beautiful to eat and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. One of our guests said it was the best spaghetti he had ever had! The mushroom risotto was perfection. I had the Chilean sea bass and WOW! The salmon was also amazing. The other two guests had roasted chicken and hangar steak… I didn’t get to try them but they looked amazing and everyone cleaned their plate even though we were full lol! We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!! 5 stars ⭐️”
“LOVE Fieros! It’s one of my favorite places to have a cappuccino and relax. The owner is amazing and I always feel like I’m in a movie set where everyone knows each other and are enjoying being together!”

“A hidden gem of a family-run Italian restaurant—don’t be misled by the humble exterior. Inside, you’re welcomed with genuine hospitality and unforgettable food. My husband and I ordered the filet of sole and the white Provini veal scallopini—both were bursting with flavor and perfectly portioned. This isn’t a place for flashy plating—it’s all about honest, delicious Italian cooking made with care. The host greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel instantly at home. The retro, moody lighting adds a cozy, nostalgic touch. We’ll definitely be back! Tip: Make a reservation—this spot stays busy, and for good reason.”
“We’ve been here twice, but only downstairs, which can get very noisy. Their yakitori is very good. We also tried the mentaiko udon and grilled corn and both were good, too.
There’s a public parking garage behind the restaurant. Parking is free after 6 pm. You can enter the restaurant through the back door.”
“Love the dry aged porterhouse, juicy and delicious. The service was phenomenal and of course the new location.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“always a great time every time i come here met evangeline tonight for the first time was very nice and talkative to us made sure we all were okay and got us everything we needed for the night. i enjoy this location better then the other ones. Food was great as well no problems whatsoever.”
“Absolutely loved this place! The food is outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The restaurant is spotless, and the ambiance is just perfect: calm, comfortable, and really inviting. It's the kind of spot where you can actually relax and enjoy a meal without the noise and chaos you find elsewhere.
What really sets it apart is the ordering experience — you order right from your phone, which is both seamless and genuinely fun. It feels modern without being gimmicky. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food in a clean, peaceful setting. Will definitely be back!”

“My family and I decided to drop by because my mom had come here with a friend before. Upon entrance, I was sort of confused until we were led into an enormous seating area with decorated walls. We were sat down and the server, Natalie, met us with instant kindness. The menu consisted of a lot of cool dishes, but we decided on a simple meat-glass noodle combination thing that was put over one of those black circles that heats it up. After the meat was cooked, I tried some with the rice tthat was given to accompany it and everything tasted soooo good! I would HIGHLY recommend this place.”
Takeout Restaurants
“First of all the owners are absolutely delightful. We got take out and it blew our socks off! Hands down the best egg I have ever had in my life....Seriously, I had waited a long while to come here and when I got a reservation for my husband's birthday it was a magical, moment. We were delighted. We traveled through taste and it suspended time. Satiated and joyous. Wakuriya is the best Japanese I have had in my life. I cannot wait to dine inside, but until then I will treat myself to their fare every month. Truly, a delight of sight, smell, texture and taste. I feel lucky to live in the neighborhood, to be so close to this 魔法の場所. Much Love Everyone, may you eat well, be well and visit Wakyuriya.”

“For starters, being a new resident within their second year in San Mateo & now attending CSM for some courses I must say how pleased I am to find a gem of a restaurant such as Shiki. For it's convenience and location being an approximate 12 minute walk from campus I intend on visiting again on special occasion.
The service from staff was direct and accomadating as they allowed my cousin and I to enjoy our dinner over the course of our visit which spanned for almost more than an hour. This alone sets the tone of the atmosphere as the restaurant is moderately quaint with enough space to host a party of 4-6 comfortably according to the layout and tableing I could vaguely go over again in my mind.
Now, for the food commentary. The chirashi was a great choice for the night!A well displayed array of fresh fish placed on top of a balance of light seasoning topped sushi rice & garnish of thin clear noodles that could've been substituted from tamago kinshi. The hamachi was the highlight due to the robust sweetness that was propelled through the natural texture of the fish. The maguro being a typical favorite of mine did not disappoint at all!
Overall, the service was great as well as the atmosphere being perfect for intimate and relaxed occasions with loved ones. Not only was the chirasu fresh but the pork tonkatsu paired with a beautifully chopped sweet citrus fruit on the side among a fresh romaine leaflet embedded underneath was simple and clean. Thinly sliced and fried to a crunch with ease.
Thank you to the wonderful staff employed at Shiki! I most definitely want to thank the chef & kitchen crew for the delicious meals made tonight. Blessings!”
“Still the best kept secret in San Mateo. I’m moving tomorrow and this food is what I’m going to miss the most. The portions are generous, the price is affordable, the service can’t be beat. Cash only. Small parking lot. Family owned and operated. The carne asada is delicious! Actually I haven’t had a bad meal here. Take away is available. You won't be disappointed . Skip the la cumbre and pancho villa. Come get the best!”
“Super good restaurants with healthy and tasty thai food. They do accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions. They could make Jain food for me and also adhere to it strictly even when I order from Doordash and call and let them know about my allergies and Jain religious dietary restrictions. The front desk person is so friendly and helpful.”
“This is my fourth time here, and I’ll keep coming. It’s that good!!! Price is decent compared to other malatang places, and the flavour always hits. Go to spot.”
“Sushi was delicious and service was great! Not a romantic spot though because it’s loud but fun if your going with family and friends. Music is good!!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Such a homey spot! The service, atmosphere, and food haven’t changed in the almost 20 years I’ve been coming here. Their flavors are authentic and there’s a lot of variety on their menu. It gets very crowded and loud during dinner rush so would recommend going around 5pm!”
“I am so impressed with the food and staff at this restaurant. We came in around 8 PM, 30 minutes prior to closing and was worried staff would be annoyed with having to serve such a large group. Instead, we were greeted with smiles and well cared for. Every single person in our group praised the food. There were lots of options for everyone in the group. I enjoyed a Shoyu Ramen. The broth was flavorful, not “fishy”. Portions were excellent. So glad we found this place. Looking forward to coming here again!”
“Having enjoyed their dishes many times for months, It’s beyond “Very Satisfying”! Excellent, delicious food! Quality well maintained although it is a hard time under C-19. Hygiene suggestions n requests well followed! Thanks 🙏 Customer Service outstanding! Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍”
“Really fantastic Japanese restaurant. Fish tasted incrediblyfresh, with many unusual options like Barracuda. Omakase and Izakaya options were all delicious. Probably my new favorite place in the bay for Sushi.”
“Love the pizza! We live in the East Bay but we stop by whenever we pass by San Mateo. We always get a Meat Lovers & the Chicken Pesto!”
Cheap Eats
“Came in for the first time and ordered two sandwiches. One, the Pastrami, the other roast beef, both with cheddar and everything on it. The habanero sauce is fire. The ravioli plates. All looked amazing. I gotta go back for some of that action. This might be my new favorite spot.”
“Has been the dumpling spot for us going on two years now. We come here about one a month-ish but LOVE this place. One time my boyfriend and I ate 50 soup dumplings between the two of us. It was amazing.
Another time, we were coming back from half Moon Bay and decided to give the frozen dumplings a try. The guy who’s always there (don’t know his name sorry!) gave us directions on how to do it and even gave us some paper to line the pan with so they wouldn’t stick. We super enjoyed them at home! On our visit to go pick up the frozen dumplings, we met a man there who says that he’s from Napa and stops by whenever he’s in the area. (Wow!)
Our faves are: Pork Soup dumplings, Pork chive, and Chicken Corn dumplings 🥟
Thank you for all the yummy dumplings!
-Nina & Camden”
“Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. I know it seems like I’m exaggerating, but it’s really that good! My only wish is that they had seating nearby & a second location closer to Oakley.”
“An amazing mom n pop store. Staff is very courteous, polite and very friendly! Discovered this place by luck and have been a regular here since June 2022.. Food is decently priced, well cooked and good quantity..
Few of our recommendations:
Mongolian Chicken Spicy
Chicken Pot Stickers
Veg and Chicken Noodles
Mongolian Tofu (same sauce as chicken one)
Hour and Sour Soup etc..”
“My son and I are truly grateful for your kindness, Nicole. Thank you for taking the time to charge his phone, wait for a call to come through, and help arrange for us to reconnect with him. You didn’t have to do any of that, yet you did it with such care. The world needs more people with your spirit. Wishing you success and blessings in everything you pursue.”
“We've been coming here every Sunday for about 2 years. Their quality is extremely consistent. Excellent Al Pastor and chorizo. They are quick and have very reasonable pricing. The friendliest staff. We will keep coming as long as we live here!
Street parking out front is competitive, but there is ample parking in the back around the block.”
“Owner is very nice service is great! 7 hours later I’m not sick. I love tacos and I am in a mission finding good tacos in San Mateo county but this is not it. I’m so sorry. I think the reason most people like it and this has good reviews is just because they’re so starving waiting at DMV I am a very honest reviewer. Here are my reasons why…
- the salsa is not spicy
- the salsa is very thick
- the salsa was slimy
- the meat taste spoiled
- my daughter didn’t like it lol
Positive the tortilla was good owner was nice and didn’t get sick
:/ I’m hungry still”

“Like most brunch places, it's overpriced. You don't get that much value, but it is a good brunch regardless. There is something very special about eating out with family in the morning at a nice place, not having to worry about cooking, even if you can easily make most of the things on the menu. Brothers Cafe offers just that. Atmosphere is good, though they could use some more decoration. Service is attentive. Overall, 4/5.”
“Love the indoor/patio ambience Menu selection,,,food ,,,,especially variety of bruschettas Drink selection as well,,,, mimosas,,,sangria Would like more live music”
“They have their operation down, pat. Good place for ramen. Prices are what you expect for San Mateo.
Update 2026: still the king in the area. They got this super ramen now that is huge! Think large bowl of Pho but with ramen. And it's filling. Delicious!”
“Great speakeasy bar. Their take on cocktails is done in an excellent manner. Only offer salty snacks so do not go here expecting to get bar food. Service is excellent and the entire feel is top-notch.”
“Delicious authentic Brazilian food with amazing service . Fun experience too!”
“Me encanto les pedí un pastelito para mi niño y ellos le cantaron las mañanitas .no lo esperaba me gustó mucho!!!”
“The radiatori was excellent... cooked al dente with a slightly spicy tomato cream sauce. Delicious! We were on a tight timeline to see a movie but they made it happen... super friendly!”
“Saigon Butter Tofu Wine sauce Ox Tail Noodle Soup Crab & Pork Meatball & Tomato Vermicelli And to drink: Taro w/Coconut Slush”
“The do called "inclusive" atmosphere is really just an owner who hates everyone who has different views. If your social or political views are woke, you aren't welcome. Spend your money elsewhere. This guy is an idiot.”
“San Mateos best kept secret. Best sushi I've had in years. Wonderful atmosphere, great service and at a reasonable price. My comment after dinner was , I guess I have had so much grocery store sushi, I forgot what real sushi should taste like.. Best Japanese food like this is rare these days until you try Tokies”
“Fun, friendly, non-pretentious place. And the burgers are all that you want and nothing you don’t.”
“The philly sandwich was tasty, the baguette was delicious, and it came with a generous serving of fries! Their fries have a nice crist and crisp on them. The planet earth pizza was also great. Nice crispy crust.”
“Hadn’t been here in nearly 30 years, we moved to Seattle, but back for vacation. Had to have the Cancun platter. Just like I remembered!!”
“We were greeted and seated right away. It’s a small, cozy restaurant with great background music that creates a warm atmosphere. The service was fast and attentive. We ordered two ramen dishes, and both were rich, flavorful, and prepared exactly the way we requested. A great spot for a satisfying bowl of ramen!”
“Each meal I’ve had here has been consistently fresh and well-prepared. Did I mention delicious? The staff is friendly and attentive.”
“Probably the best fish I’ve had around the Bay Area so far at this price point. The Gyu Nabe felt like being back in Japan. A bit pricy but definitely a place we’d take visiting friends and family.”
“Was greeted & seated promptly. Welcomed by Manager Hung. Brittany was our waitress & we received the 20th Anniversary Sacks. Happy Anniversary.”
“Cozy little Japanese restaurant with super friendly servers. The owner works at the counter. I come for Ishiyaki Hitsumamushi (Stone Bowl Seafood Rice) which I don’t think is served anywhere else. I also had tuna bone marrow for appetitzer and black sesame cheesecake for dessert. So many other dishes I want to try so will be back.”
“Regular american diner, with expected breakfast menu. Not bad but nothing outstanding either . Friendly staff. Overall it was good choice for a breakfast place for us”
“My server Carlos was incredible!!! He gave us all the food in impeccable time and I appreciated everything he did for us. My group and I asked for many different accommodations and he was extremely chill with it all and was extremely kind!”
“This is truly a hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant. ✨
Every time I come here, I just let the owner decide what to serve, and it never disappoints. The sashimi platter is always beautifully prepared, especially the six-section assortment — every piece is incredibly fresh and high quality.
One of my favorites is the uni hand roll, so rich and satisfying. And the small oyster topped with egg yolk and fish roe? Absolute perfection in one bite, especially paired with the fresh wasabi.
You can really tell the owner cares about both the food and the customers. Super genuine, friendly, and generous. Every meal here leaves me completely full, satisfied, and somehow still feeling healthy and refreshed.
Definitely one of those rare places you want to keep secret but also want everyone to experience. Highly recommend!”

“Such a lovely bespoke atmosphere and the cocktails and bar bites are so artfully crafted. My only disappointment was that I only had time to visit once during my time in San Mateo but I hope to return. Cheers!”
“Such a homey spot! The service, atmosphere, and food haven’t changed in the almost 20 years I’ve been coming here. Their flavors are authentic and there’s a lot of variety on their menu. It gets very crowded and loud during dinner rush so would recommend going around 5pm!”
“I really liked the food and the atmosphere. The server Dastan is really good and very accommodating. 🙏🏻 I would definitely comeback and recommend this place”
“Highly recommend!! The roast beef was so good and tender!! Loved both the noodles but have to say the Creamy Soy Yuzu Chicken one was more to my liking! Excellent service!”
“La sopa súper deliciosa, sin embargo no ofrecen bebidas al momento de tomar la orden. Aunque si hay bebidas gaseosas y demás no nos ofrecieron nada de eso, las raciones son algo pequeñas.”
“Great all-you-can-eat hot pot! The meat was fresh, especially the beef and lamb, and the soup base was flavorful. There was a wide variety of vegetables, seafood, and other ingredients to choose from. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept everything well stocked. The restaurant was clean, and the overall dining experience was excellent. Definitely worth the price, and I’ll be coming back again!”
“Great spot for some unique dishes. Loved the roasted chicken rice. The recommended beef noodle soup was good as well, but the rice dish over shadowed it. I’ll definitely be back to try out more. Lunch time wasn’t too busy.”
“If you want good authentic Japanese food, this is the place to go. It's no frills so don't go if you are looking for a fine dining experience. Food is plentiful, service is good and they have an outside / tent seating area that is good for larger groups and kids.”
“I’m not usually in the San Mateo area, but I happened to be nearby with a friend for some tech-related work and decided to place an online order from Udon Mugizo for the first time. It was a Saturday and the restaurant was clearly very busy, so I expected the pickup to take a while, but everything was ready smoothly and the person who helped me, possibly the manager, was genuinely kind and attentive even with so much going on. I was honestly impressed by the quality of the food too. Everything tasted fresh, carefully prepared, and much better than I normally expect from an online order. The whole experience, from the pickup service to the food itself, was excellent. I don’t come to this area often, but I would definitely order from here again the next time I’m nearby”
“This is a good old Cantonese place. It has been my family go to back in the days. Now a day, they don't have that much business. We do stop by ever so often to get our OG food fixes in. Some of their servers is a bit rude, but don't mind them. This is just how they work.”
“Was celebrating my Uncle's wedding anniversary. Staff is friendly and professional. Went on a Saturday. Plenty of parking (garage) in the area. Ordered the filet mignon. Was irresistible and incredibly tender. My Father had their prime rib with mash potatoes. Took the leftovers home. I would definitely go back ! We had reservations so our group went in when it was time.”
“Thank you for the fresh Uni, and very awesome customer service. Highly recommend!!!”
“Me encanta yo trabaje ahi y que delicia y cuando sos cliente más rica”
“Excellent Cadillac margaritas!! Service and food is always great.”
“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.”
“I had a fantastic dinner at Curry and Kabab in San Mateo tonight! The **Soya Chaap** was incredibly flavorful and well-textured, and the **Aloo Gobi** was cooked to perfection with just the right balance of spices. Pairing them with their fresh, warm **Naan** made for a truly satisfying meal.
If you're looking for authentic flavors and great service in San Mateo, this spot is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!
Really liked their wall paintings though”
“Always love all their pies and we go there whenever we are visiting the area.”
“Vegetable fried dumplings, soy sauce noodles, and green onion pancakes were all incredibly good. Staff was supremely helpful, kind, and personable. Highly recommend!”
“Tried the downtown SJ location a long time ago and remembered liking it. Ordered takeout by phone and order was ready in 20 mins. We got the Jhol momo $14, tandoori chicken momo $16, chicken curry $14, lamb tikka masala $16.50, and garlic naan $5. Food is all high quality and pretty good overall. Asked for no added salt or butter and they were able to accommodate. Tandoori chicken momo was my favorite followed by the Jhol momo and lamb tikka masala. Lamb tikka had really good flavor, but the lamb wasn't very tender, although not tough or dry either. Chicken curry wasn't anything special. Garlic naan was decent. Generous portions for the price, it's nice that the curries include rice. Small restaurant with some tables inside and a lot more outside on the patio deck. I recommend it, but like Himali just a bit better (sister restaurant in Burlingame)”
“Everything so tasty. Chicken karage and butakakuni tasked so good.”
“The bay has no shortage of sushi restaurants, San Mateo least of all. Against this competitive backdrop, The Backhouse still claims a spot at the top. Jui's selection of garnishes and sauces are simply a level above others making this sort of modern style sushi - so delicious and, importantly, unique. And on top of excellent and highly consistent flavor, the business maintains its genuine local charm.
Useful info:
- Responsive to Instagram DMs
- IG story has alternate pickup locations a few times per week
- Parking usually isn't too hard if you're coming to the San Mateo location
If you're looking at the order form and are concerned about getting your money's worth, just go for it. You won't be disappointed.”
“Just got takeout here and it was really tasty. Green curry, Pad Thai, spring rolls and fresh rolls. 👌”
“Ok, this is great food! Awesome Barbecue and Fried Chicken. Menu is on the website. Don’t forget to tip!”
“Great food and great people. I always have excellent service and great food when I eat there.”
“These are the best most authentic pupusas in the area. Great prices as well. I’m glad I found them. Delicious. A little small , just a few tables so best for take out.”
“Great Pupusas and excellent selection of other Salvadorean and Guatemalan food. I'll miss this place, but will visit whenever I am back in San Mateo!”
“Rolled into town on a Wednesday, looking to book a late night party on the upcoming Saturday. Monica behind the bar grabbed the owner Malhi from next door. They were both super helpful and made it easy. Had a great time with good drinks. Even pumped our own music through their sound system. Nice looking place with chill vibe.”

“The hostesses were the best on this specific occasion. I had Estela. She gave the best service I have ever seen, and in all honesty, the server was nothing short of fantastic. She was also a server. And it was some of the best service I've ever received from a restaurant, immediately confirming we had allergies and making sure to ask about our dietary needs. The food was very good, so I would like to congratulate the chef. But back to the hostesses: Estela was prime. Honestly, I had never experienced anything like it at any other Benihana before.”
“I deliver custom cabinets in Silicon Valley from Bend Oregon and when I’m in North Bay I always eat here. Always fabulous food for me and my German Shorthair Pointer. Room to park for my huge delivery van. I have never got anything bad for last 6 yrs it’s always been great”
“We went there for Thanksgiving for the first time. As a vegetarian, I can say I had many options, and what I chose was outstanding. My wife and daughter enjoyed their fish and meat dishes and I can honestly say there wasn’t one dish that wasn’t outstanding. I heartily recommend this place and I’m considering going back for Christmas if they’re open.”
“always a great time every time i come here met evangeline tonight for the first time was very nice and talkative to us made sure we all were okay and got us everything we needed for the night. i enjoy this location better then the other ones. Food was great as well no problems whatsoever.”

“I was just looking for a place with quick service and a really good latte, and Atlas Bakery & More completely delivered. It’s inside a corporate building, which honestly made the whole thing feel even more unexpected. I grabbed my coffee and sat outside in their sunny courtyard with the fountains, little benches, and umbrellas, and it ended up being such a peaceful part of my morning. A very charming little hidden gem.”
“I really enjoyed the floral aroma of the jasmine tea combined with the creamy milk, it made the drink feel refreshing and unique. One thing to note is that Molly Tea doesn’t offer a wide variety of toppings. If you’re a fan of black tapioca pearls, you won’t find them here; they only have white pearls. The sweetness level is also well balanced, not overly sweet, so it’s easy to finish a whole drink without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I’d love to come back to try some of their other floral tea flavors.”
“Came here for the stinky tofu, and tried some of the other Taiwanese specialties... The fried green beans was a stand out, and the garlic cucumbers was very fresh. Also ordered the stewed pork bento box, which was their version of Taiwanese stewed minced pork over rice, which was served with a stewed whole egg, boiled bok choy, some yellow oshinko.... The crab pork soup dumplings were gigantic, about twice the size of the soup dumplings at DinTaiFung, but couldn't quite match up to it's famous brethren in terms of quality of ingredients. Then again, you're paying less than 1/2 the cost. Service was friendly and quick.... Finally, the stinky tofu wasn't that stinky... But did meet the expectations.... Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. Would I come back? Yes”
“My family and I love Sushirrito, and the creativity they bring in fusing amazing flavors together with sushi rolls the size of burritos 🌯! We recently dined at their newest location in Redwood City. The restaurant is clean, modern, and I loved the decor, esp the fish lanterns hanging from the ceilings. I got the Satori roll, and it’s the best - fish is fresh and it had the right amount of crunch and sauce to balance the tender hamachi. The matchagave latte was very refreshing, and had flavors mixed together that I’d never tasted before. Sumo crunch roll was perfect for the kids, esp. the red tempura flakes!🍣”
“They're doing a good job, being small local stores - a nice diversion from Starbucks junk. I'm a latte guy and find their coffee to my taste (well, maybe not as good as I make myself 🤔). The pastry selection is fresh, not shipped in plastic wrappers them warmed like SB. And the place is pleasant and open with sitting inside and out.”
“The guys are super nice and the food was amazing , I’ve been to turkey like 13 times , and this is the only place provide the same authentic taste , thank you guys”
