“First time ordering a crunch cake! We got the 6” inch strawberry crunch cake and called in the order a day before to pick up. Parking is limited since it’s a residential street. When I arrived for pick up, they were just putting the brittle on. The cake is very unique, the strawberry crunch had brittle crumble all over the outside and in the inside are two moist cake and a thick layer of cream and fresh strawberries.The cake is not that sweet and taste amazing with the brittle crunch. Cutting it wasn’t that difficult, I wiped the knife each slice as instructed. I would order the mocha cake next time! This cake is $35, cash only.“

“This is located in the food court area of hillsdale mall. The basque cheesecake is easily one of the best I have had. Even the Japanese cheesecake is super light fluffy and delicious. The tarts are great as well. I have tried almost every single flavor they sell. They also sell tea and some other beverages but I have not had the chance to try any of these. “Ever since Simply Cake opened in the area, they have been our favorite place for Hong Kong style baked goods and the only place we go to for birthday cakes. It's delicious and elegantly packaged. The cakes they made for our grandma's 100th and 101st birthday have gotten a lot of thumbs up from those who had it. It's a tradition for us to to keep coming back for 102nd and onward! “Old school Italian bakery/cafe. The counter lady seemed bothered by my existence, but I’m not offended. The cake I had was dry and a little two artificially flavored for my taste. Although I am not a huge fan of Italian sweets to begin I like to support small businesses and try new places. Lots of cookies and other sweets on display as well.“

“I was looking for a bakery near at my work before going home that morning and this store shows up. I heard from our other friend that they like Sheng kee bakery. I bought moon cake, melon cake and freshly baked pork bun to bring home for the kids to bring it at school for lunch.

The moon cake really taste good will buy more but it's a bit pricey for less than $3. I asked our kids if they liked the pork bun they say it's good. Melon cookie taste good also.
