“I found this bakery when I was looking for a place to purchase alfajores and I was so happy to have found it! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my first visit was nothing but a very nice experience. Two young men behind the counter seemed really friendly and helpful. The other customers in the store at the time seemed very happy. I came for alfajores today, but I will definitely go back for more alfajores and other goodies!“

“Curry puffs were good, crisp and very nice sauce. Thai iced tea on the less sweet side with very cute bear ice on top. Pad thai had some slightly undercooked noodles, not enough peanuts for texture, and what I think was tofu that was textured extremely dry.“

“Great all-you-can-eat hot pot! The meat was fresh, especially the beef and lamb, and the soup base was flavorful. There was a wide variety of vegetables, seafood, and other ingredients to choose from. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept everything well stocked. The restaurant was clean, and the overall dining experience was excellent. Definitely worth the price, and I’ll be coming back again!“

“I ordered the chicken bowl takeout and it was very good. Since I can’t have gluten I’m always nervous eating out, but this place was clearly labeled for dietary restrictions and still tasted great. 10/10 recommend for a chill takeout meal.“

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. Thank you guys for the amazing food. I highly recommend this place!!“

“We went out for lunch after proctoring exams all morning. We wanted to go to a place that served typical Honduran food. We went to this restaurant that was close to our work place. It is still nice after many years of service. The pupusas and the carne asada were delicious.“

“Tried the downtown SJ location a long time ago and remembered liking it. Ordered takeout by phone and order was ready in 20 mins. We got the Jhol momo $14, tandoori chicken momo $16, chicken curry $14, lamb tikka masala $16.50, and garlic naan $5. Food is all high quality and pretty good overall. Asked for no added salt or butter and they were able to accommodate. Tandoori chicken momo was my favorite followed by the Jhol momo and lamb tikka masala. Lamb tikka had really good flavor, but the lamb wasn't very tender, although not tough or dry either. Chicken curry wasn't anything special. Garlic naan was decent. Generous portions for the price, it's nice that the curries include rice. Small restaurant with some tables inside and a lot more outside on the patio deck. I recommend it, but like Himali just a bit better (sister restaurant in Burlingame)“

I probably ordered wrong because this is El Salvadoran style and I ordered burrito and quesadilla; then I was told to get a papusa, which I did.
Dios mio! The best decision of my life!
Such a great blend of salty savory cheese and meat with a subtle sweetness from the cover which I assume is corn.
Amazing people. One lady asked if I was married; if she was the one making this food, I might go back for her!

“Being from out of town I hadn’t heard oh Philz. I stopped by to hang out with some coffee for a little while before a meeting. I was surprised by their comprehensive coffee list and landed on a delicious blend to sip on. Service was fast and friendly. There were a dozen or so customers working away on their laptops with plenty of table space to spare. If this place existed near me I wouldn’t go to another cafe for coffee!“

“They use an AI call taker and there is no one at the store who can take a call. I left my glasses there and I called 5 times , each time I was forwarded to the store and then the call just dropped while I was waiting.
