Pupuseria Valle De Jiboa, also known as Pupuseria El Salvador, offers amazing Salvadoran food with sweet service. The bean and cheese pupusas are a must-try, and the sopa de res with cheese and pork pupusa come highly recommended. The pupusas are slightly burnt for a nice crunch but soft on top with a nice flavor. The pickled cabbage is a great addition. Despite a bit of a wait due to a large group, the friendly staff apologized and helped with recommendations. The chicken cheese pupusas are also very tasty, making this a favorite spot in San Mateo.
