Excellent coffee, nice indoor and outdoor seating, and wonderful staff. This was my favorite San Mateo coffee spot over a decade ago, and it still is today. Quality beverages and superb atmosphere. Came for an iced mocha in the morning and enjoyed every sip of it. Staff was amicable and quick service. The al fresco (outdoor seating) is a great touch and adds to the vibe (B street recently closed for pedestrian mall activity).The ambiance is fantastic inside and out. Paid street parking nearby.

Fantastic latte prepared and served up by the owner. Loved the laid back vibe of the place. Life slowed down when I went in. I was not rushed to order, the owner was not rushed in preparing my coffee, and I took time to indulge in every amazing sip amongst other laid back patrons.Also, great downtown location.
