Dulzura Café Reviews
Cozy little hidden place in San Mateo. A bakery, coffee shop and specialized on cakes. They do offer some Filipino delicacies.
It is a wonderful place. They have a variety of things from sweets to sandwiches and everything in between, and cold to hot drinks. They take advanced orders. Her pecan pie and chocolate chip cookies are a favorite in my family. They are a family owned and operated business....GREAT people.
Food great, prices good, staff that day were not too welcoming, would not reply to people’s hello.

Dulzura Café is a charming mom-and-pop café that offers a delightful array of Cuban sandwiches, blueberry crumble danishes, breakfast burritos, and a variety of pastries, sandwiches, and breakfast items like quiche and empanadas. The café is clean, with ample seating inside and out, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and the overall quality of the food. Recent visitors have raved about the amazing breakfast options, including breakfast ham & egg sandwiches, croissant egg and cheese sandwiches, and guava and cheese pastelitos. They also enjoy the fresh and tasty pastries, highlighting the café as a hidden gem worth supporting. The pastries are made on site and are delicious, with a perfect guava to cheese ratio. The coffee is good, providing just the right amount of kick. While some have noted that the cortado wasn't great and that certain items, like the beef empanada, could have been fresher, many find the café a perfect spot for a quick meal during a break. Despite some minor critiques, Dulzura Café remains a beloved spot, with many eager to return for more treats and friendly service.
