“We dropped a hot dog bun and they were very kind. Appreciate it dude. You know who you are 😅 We always get the egg and ham, chasiu bao, red bean bread and yam bread. The egg tarts are pretty good too. They use to be a bit more affordable but it’s a win if you can buy 6 items for under $20 these days.

We’ve been coming here since they opened. Really appreciate having an HK style bakery out here in San Mateo :)“

“This place is a hole in the wall. We ordered a slice of the following: matcha slice cake, tiramisu slice cake and black sesame slice cake. Omg. Their slice cake is a bit expensive but it so worth it. My favorite is the black sesame cake. My sister in law was the matcha cake. We had to order a cake for a birthday so guess what we ordered?“

“Very good quality for the bakery items, and their coffee is pretty good. However, there needs to be a system, where you just don't stand at the counter. Waiting for your coffee to come out, keeping the people behind you from paying just for their bakery items. Or Pete's. Other than that, it's amazing place.“

The team here is honestly what makes it special — Amy, Julia, Caitlin, Noah, Andrea, Isa, and Alex always create such a welcoming environment. They remember my dog’s name and always offer him a treat, which says so much about the kind of experience they create for their customers.

You can tell they genuinely care about the coffee, the atmosphere, and the people coming through the door. Great drinks, warm staff, and consistently good vibes every time I come in.“

“The chocolate cream cheese cake was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had!!! Simply amazing! I enjoyed the different textures and flavors that I got with each bite. I also tried the rose, raspberry, and pistachio cake which was light, refreshing, and delicious (and gluten-free), but with a different texture than the chocolate cake. Both cakes were so unique and delightful, but I especially love chocolate - and this particular chocolate cake was absolutely phenomenal!“

“This is my favorite location when I feel like getting some empanadas, pastries (mamon), or cakes (Ube flan cake). Empanadas, I usually order the chicken, beef and pork. Beef is my favorite. They came out with a spicy chicken which I haven’t tried. And recently I just bought their version of senorita bread. Will update how it is. But I always will come back when I need my empanadas fix.“

“We were spending the night at a hotel near SF International Airport, so we wanted to grab some snacks for the evening and breakfast for the morning. When we first arrived it was not busy and there was no line to checkout, but by the time we were ready to checkout, the line was around 10 groups long and got longer when we were leaving.

Paris Baguette is a chain bakery that offer coffees, teas and other drinks in addition to a large selection of bakery items and cakes. For bakery items, go grab a tray and tongs, then head over to the clear plexiglass cabinets and start grabbing all the delicious baked goods that your taste buds desire. I would suggest staring with walking along the cabinets to scout out the items first before grabbing a tray and tongs, otherwise you have the tendency to just keep grabbing items that look good on the first pass and then be up with too much. Their cakes look very appealing and tempting to purchase. We just ate dinner and I was too full to try one of their coffee or tea drinks.

Paris Baguette is quickly expanding into many cities, so there may be one popping up near you soon. I would like to try more of their items in the future.“
