From start to end of the process, Yana was communicative and helpful to bring our design idea into fruition. Delivery was seamless and on-time as well. The cake had beautiful fondant work and the chocolate cake tasted divine and decadent. Looking forward to going to Yana again for future birthday cakes!“

“This is my favorite location when I feel like getting some empanadas, pastries (mamon), or cakes (Ube flan cake). Empanadas, I usually order the chicken, beef and pork. Beef is my favorite. They came out with a spicy chicken which I haven’t tried. And recently I just bought their version of senorita bread. Will update how it is. But I always will come back when I need my empanadas fix.“

“The food and service was amazing! Finding an open table kinda sucked. If you have a sweet tooth I'd suggest wearing a muzzle because there are so many delicious items to choose from. I especially liked how they have a section with prepackaged items.“

“Pastries at their finest. On my first visit, the beautiful twice baked raspberry almond croissant. On my second visit, the decadent croissant bread pudding. I want to try everything! Very hard to choose, which is not always the case in a bakery. Great service, too.“

“A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“Lots of seating, the earl grey crepe cake was sooooo good but a little too floral for me. Planning to come back and try other flavors, I love that there are so many Asian inspired ones. I’m really sad this was so good because it’s super worth the $12-14 per cake :’)“

“Everything I've ever had from here has been amazing, just scrumptious perfection. I used to live a block away and would go there more often, I've moved a bit further away now but returned today for lunch and sweet treats. The guava puff pastry I got today was sublime, the ganache brownie is my standby go-to, literally the best brownie I've ever had in my life. The soups are always exquisite. Just nice people, everything clean and fresh, a pleasant little community experience around the corner from where I grew up in my family home of 40 years. Coming to Patisserie on California always feels like coming home.“

“Loved that they had a variety of donuts. But you need to be there early in the day if you want to try all flavors! Favorite was cinnamon apple! Chocolate rose was not that good, it tasted a little dry. The strawberry matcha coconut didn’t really taste like any of those flavors but it was still good. Loved that they do seasonal flavors so they seem to change constantly. The chai wasn’t the greatest though! Updated from previous review on 2026-08-08“

We had the cake delivered on the day off. The cake was amazing - looks and tastes great! Our guests devoured it an had been asking who made the cake!“

“Ordered the strawberry cake for my friend’s birthday and it was DIVINEEEE. One of the best cakes I’ve ever had, period!! Super moist and light, with fresh strawberries in the middle, and the frosting tasted like strawberries and cream. It’s also a super cute and was the perfect size!! Highly recommended this cake; I will definitely be getting this for others in the future :D“

“We did a five-course, intimate, dessert tasting at Bellaria. Every item was hand-crafted, thoughtful, innovative, and delicious. It started off with savory bites before moving into the main attractions. Our party absolutely loved the Mandarin and White Tea dish with seabuckthorn and tonka. The Pear Tatin Roulade and Souffle Bread Pudding were expertly crafted and technically impressive. The Chocolate dish at the end was the perfect bite to end the meal. And everything (besides the caviar) was vegan!I can't wait to see what else comes out of this innovative dessert studio. The space is small so you'll have to sign up in advance for the tasting, but it makes it intimate and homey. It makes a great date night!“

The croissant is my favorite in the city (including Arsicault and Tartine - different style though to be fair) because it's rich and flakey yet on the lighter side. “Absolutely love Spruce Cafe. If you want quality artisanal coffee made with care, this is the place. If you want quick burnt milk coffee, go to Starbucks.

The team here is honestly what makes it special — Amy, Julia, Caitlin, Noah, Andrea, Isa, and Alex always create such a welcoming environment. They remember my dog’s name and always offer him a treat, which says so much about the kind of experience they create for their customers.
