I came across this bakery as I was driving down Ocean Avenue in San Francisco. I just happened to look over and see that there is a bakery there. Love love this place ~~ They have the best cake !! It's a small local bakery that has been around for too long! I like all their cake but my recent favorite is the tres lech one. The cakes are not overly sweet and pairs well with a cup of coffee . They always have two people asking you what you want so service was always quick and thoughtful. This is my go to place for birthday cakes and special occasions. I have been a loyal customer for 18-19 years. You can't go wrong with the fruit tart, carrot cake , princess cake and strawberry layer cake with a layer of panna cotta. Ambrosia has kept up as my children's taste in cakes and pastries matured.
