When we sat down outside, with the blue hour sun hanging low across the city, the tray of gluttony and sugars sat so perfectly on our tray.Then a group of Patagonia-clad men stumbled in saying “with OpenAI” and I was reminded that we’re in San Francisco.The crookie was good, albeit not crispy. This has become our go-to cake for our birthdays, and we love it! The chocolate imperial cake is our favorite and it is a chocoholics dream. I never share it with anyone because it so darn tasty!It is pricier than a lot of other cake places, but well worth the money for a special occasion.

The croissants here are PHENOMENAL. They also have an emergency caviar station (that’s just what I call it). Great coffee. Beautiful chocolates. There is a lemon yuzu cake that is DIVINE.
