“I really like this spot! It’s such a nice environment to study, have a chat, or simply enjoy a snack, drink, and pastry. They also have an Asian restaurant attached to it, along with plenty of free parking, which is always a plus.

I truly enjoyed having my Bible study here with a banana matcha. It was peaceful, comfortable, and just a really nice place to spend some time. I’ll definitely be back!“

“We dined here for the first time today. The croissants and lattes were delicious. However, at the end of our breakfast a customer brought a dog in and the dog pooped on the floor. Not just a little poop, but a lot. Another customer stepped in it. That completely changed the atmosphere. To the owner I ask, please do not allow customers to bring pets into the business, comfort/service pet or other. It completely changes the experience for paying customers.“

“Friendly workers who definitely work hard! I've had a few nice conversations with them. They don't have a lot of help around, but with the variety of things they have to do, manage to operate as quickly as they can. I live nearby and am happy to have this place as an option for a simple bite. I've come by several, several times. Their sandwiches are huge and packed. Very moist and flavorful. The pastries with creams are my favorite (I'm not really a croissant guy). Check them out! They are kind of hard to come across my because their branding isn't obvious, so go get 'em!“

“A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“Everything I've ever had from here has been amazing, just scrumptious perfection. I used to live a block away and would go there more often, I've moved a bit further away now but returned today for lunch and sweet treats. The guava puff pastry I got today was sublime, the ganache brownie is my standby go-to, literally the best brownie I've ever had in my life. The soups are always exquisite. Just nice people, everything clean and fresh, a pleasant little community experience around the corner from where I grew up in my family home of 40 years. Coming to Patisserie on California always feels like coming home.“

From start to end of the process, Yana was communicative and helpful to bring our design idea into fruition. Delivery was seamless and on-time as well. Friendly staff and wonderful service.
Lots to offer including caffeine, pastries, cakes, cupcakes, cookies and take home dough.
Note that everyday from 3-6pm, all drinks are half off. What a great offering.
We got the matcha cake slice, the cherry pie, oatmeal raisin cookie, and the mini chocolate chip cookie.
Cake was light and each bite contained matcha and yuzu. A solid option. The cookies were soft and chewy.
Overall, a wonderful place for all your sweets.“

“We did a five-course, intimate, dessert tasting at Bellaria. Every item was hand-crafted, thoughtful, innovative, and delicious. It started off with savory bites before moving into the main attractions. Our party absolutely loved the Mandarin and White Tea dish with seabuckthorn and tonka. The Pear Tatin Roulade and Souffle Bread Pudding were expertly crafted and technically impressive. The Chocolate dish at the end was the perfect bite to end the meal. And everything (besides the caviar) was vegan!I can't wait to see what else comes out of this innovative dessert studio. The space is small so you'll have to sign up in advance for the tasting, but it makes it intimate and homey. It makes a great date night!“

“Reviewing this only for the donuts and ham+cheese pretzel croissant - incredible bakery. The croissant is my favorite in the city (including Arsicault and Tartine - different style though to be fair) because it's rich and flakey yet on the lighter side. Donuts are freshly filled and delicious. I go for the ham+cheese croissant all the time“

“This is my favorite location when I feel like getting some empanadas, pastries (mamon), or cakes (Ube flan cake). Empanadas, I usually order the chicken, beef and pork. Beef is my favorite. They came out with a spicy chicken which I haven’t tried. And recently I just bought their version of senorita bread. Will update how it is. But I always will come back when I need my empanadas fix.“

“We dropped a hot dog bun and they were very kind. Appreciate it dude. You know who you are 😅 We always get the egg and ham, chasiu bao, red bean bread and yam bread. The egg tarts are pretty good too. They use to be a bit more affordable but it’s a win if you can buy 6 items for under $20 these days.

“Lovely bakery in downtown San Mateo. So many options. Coffee and tea as well. I think the chai was good, but not outstanding. I’m okay with that because I was there for a good pastry, and they overdelivered on that! I enjoyed the almond raspberry croissant, a mochi donut, and the pain aux raisin. Yum! My customer service experience was also good. The first person I interacted with was a normal customer-worker interaction, but the second person actually asked about my day and caught onto the fact that I am an out-of-towner via what I said and she asked about that. That’s good service! I want the owners/managers to know that the young gal with dark hair, a blue streak, and large squarish glasses is a valuable employee. I recommend this bakery and would return anytime I’m in the area. They also cater! I bet that’s awesome. They also have a cool community program called Love Baked In where they give back to the community is various ways.“
