My last SF trip, my friends and I went bakery hopping to 5-6 bakeries. Out of all of them, B Patisserie was our favorite. I was staying in the area for the week and my host told me this was the spot to find the most incredible pastries. I used to live in France, so naturally I was very intrigued. These were indeed some of the best French pastries I’ve ever had!

If there is one positive thing came from the pandemic, it is Philippe Delarue’s ingenious idea to open up a bake shop here in front of his flat. It’s one of my favorite places to invite friends on Saturday or Sunday morning.You can’t go wrong with any of his goods, but my personal favorite is the bread pudding.
