One of the best traditional Taiwanese bakeries. Their quality is one of the best in the Bay Area. I ate their bakery goods 30 years ago, and their quality has not changed. It still tastes the same as 30 years ago.
I stumbled upon this place after checking out the Marina Market during my visit to San Mateo, and I'm glad that I did. Of the pastries that I tried, they were quite good. I can't comment on the service cause it's a self-serve place, and I also didn't have any questions for the workers. Solid Sheng Kee branch that offers a lot of the usual Sheng Kee Chinese bakery staples! Grew up stopping by here for hot dog buns and sandwiches. On my most recent visit, I came here because I had a sudden craving for red bean buns. Sheng Kee always hits the spot when I need them to! So glad to see this location is here after all these years.
