“I found this bakery when I was looking for a place to purchase alfajores and I was so happy to have found it! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my first visit was nothing but a very nice experience. Two young men behind the counter seemed really friendly and helpful. The other customers in the store at the time seemed very happy. I came for alfajores today, but I will definitely go back for more alfajores and other goodies!“

“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.“

The cookies are so good , the ones I’m trying for the first time or the regular cookies they have . They are always fresh. No matter if you get the big size cookie or want to go with their mini. I usually buy a dozen of the minis or a box or 6 because, come on now. There’s no way I can only actually eat one or 2. I think mini is the perfect size. . So i highly recommend you stopping by a crumble location or ordering it for delivery. “This place is awesome and makes the best gluten free almond cookies --my favorite are the ones that are half dipped in dark chocolate. I am addicted to their biscotti and cannoli! I love to snack on many of my favorite biscotti varieties such as the dark chocolate dipped hazelnut, chocolate chip no nuts, orange dark chocolate dipped & the OMG LEMON WHITE chocolate is refreshing! They also have a unique pastry shaped like a clamshell & is super crispy flaky crunchy on the outside but baked with a savory sweet orange zest ricotta cheese filling inside. It's irresistable when its warmed up. Definitely worth a visit & a fantastic place to purchase year-round gifts & bring treats to the office. EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD!!!“

Plus they charged money for the boxes and credit card fees. A lot of nickle and diming here but it is what it is. We also tried this mocha like bread and it was pretty chewy and good.“

Vanessa went above and beyond and tracked me down to return the object after I left the store. I was shocked by this level of dedication that you will only see at a neighborhood local establishment. Please go to this place to experience true customer service (and the food and drinks are great too!). Its a great place for a work meeting, lunch spot, or to redose your caffeine.“

“Yesterday I tried Uncle Tetsu inside Hillsdale Shopping Center for the first time and I really enjoyed it. There were so many flavors to choose from but I only got the coconut pandan Japanese cotton cheesecake and the ube cheese tart. They're selling the mini cheesecake - cheesetart combo for only $10, a pretty good deal!
Cotton cheesecake was super soft and fluffy, and the flavor leans more towards the coconut. I think pandan was only there for the color. Like you can see it but the flavor was really light, not super strong like I expected.
Ube cheese tart was also good but definitely on the sweeter side. Me and my friend shared one because it gets kinda sugary after a few bites (but it's still delicious, I highly recommend). The texture is nice, very creamy and buttery inside with a slightly crunchy crust.
Place was not busy, and staff was nice. I’d probably come back again when I'm craving desserts.“

“A shop that specialized on Philippine bibingka( coconut rice cake) at Milbrae. The shop is nice with seating areas.
It was not busy when we arrive as the just opened.
There are different topping of bibingka you can choose from like Dubai chocolate, Nutella, etc.
They also have coffee, latte, halo halo drink, smoothie, boba, and food too.
Most of bibingka the are in shape of cup cake with different topping.
I ordered Vietnamese ice coffee and Dubai chocolate pistachio bibingka and they are good and yummy. I wish the vietnamese coffee a bit stronger.
I wish they have buco pie but they don't have it today.
It is nice store as it has many choices to choose from.
Will try other stuff next time.“

“1960.... Dad received a position at the bakery when we moved to the States. Everyone there spoke German. As a little, we'd visit, I was so shy I hid behind dad. We always stopped in the office and my brother and I were given paper bakery hats to wear. The owners, the Wedemeyers and staff were so friendly. I loved seeing the huge mixers and the wonderful smell of fresh bread. They even had an old fashioned cola machine. I've visited each time I return to our hometown. Many fond memories of so many family friends that have all passed. Wedemeyers, Meyers, Heinz, Swat, Luneberg. Thank you for continuing a great family business.“
