I have seen so many new arrivals to the Bay Area French pastry shop scene lately that it’s hard to know one from the other. I can honestly say this one is well worth a visit (and the high price point). The Easter dessert pictured was a decadent experience from start to finish complete with a hazelnut butter base, chocolate mouse, and a chocolate egg with a panna cotta like filling and a zesty citrus “yolk.”
This is a very cute French style bakery / coffee/ dessert place. Very cozy and warm inside. And smells amazing. Nice jazz music around. Would be really great for a casual coffee date. Outside they do have a few small tables with a very narrow overhang above. And they put the chairs side by side to save the space. Smart. It could be a very intimate setting for a romantic coffee date. So we might come back without dogs one day. For dog ppl just be aware might not be too comfortable...read full review

I walked around after Mediterranean dinner hoping to find some decent coffee....good sipping expresso...because it's late I only asked for a single!Yummmm...I haven't sipped a coffee so good since maybe Cafe Treiste in the day.The 'piece de resistance' was an amazing lemon tartlett!I'm swooning here!By the way it's 8pm!
