“Food is phenomenal. Had a loaded breakfast croissant and oh my goodness, it was huge!! Got halfway through it before we remembered to take a photo. The iced tree leches coffee is packed with flavor and a beautiful way to start the morning. The business is kind of tucked a way off the road a bit but easy to find. The lady that owns it is incredible.“

“Great food and super friendly staff. We tried avocado toast and mocha. Turned out that they messed up our mocha and gave us a latte. They were extremely busy on a long weekend so I didn’t bother to ask them to fix it. They would have definitely fixed my order but I was okay with a latte too!“

“Found this gem while strolling through the neighborhood. The staff here are incredibly welcoming, they even surprised me with a complimentary Canelé, which honestly stole the show! It had that signature hard, crackly shell and an airy, tender interior that was perfectly balanced in sweetness. Pair it with a latte, and you’re set. I also gave their Hojicha Latte a go; while the milk was steamed beautifully, the tea flavor felt a little light. A bit more punch from the Hojicha would make it a 10/10. Still, a wonderful spot with great energy and top-tier pastries.“

“Cafe Central is a fantastic spot in Burlingame, and they offer a really wide selection of food, pastries, and coffee. Honestly, everything we’ve tried here has been great. The food is so good that it’s actually pretty hard to find a seat, even if you visit during off-peak hours! That clearly shows how popular and high-quality this place is, but you definitely have to be prepared to wait a bit for an open table. The owner/manager is wonderful and very friendly—we run into her pretty much every single time we stop by, and she always makes the experience feel welcoming. The staff behind the counter can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on the day, but in general, they're good. If you don't mind a little bit of a crowd, it's absolutely worth a visit for the great menu.“

“Easy to find, plenty of parking. Very impressive office complex, very inviting common area with a short walk to the water side of the San Francisco Bay. Views of aircraft on final approach to San Francisco International Airport.
The coffee shop is clean and well laid out, kind of small, not very much indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor seating and tables.
Good servers, our order was taken promptly and correctly. Lattes and bagels, both delicious.

“We ordered Lamb biryani. It was very good, but the mild option was still pretty spicy. Mango lassie really helped temper the heat. Wait staff was very friendly. We sat at the table on the sidewalk during the street festival and enjoyed the atmosphere.“

“I don’t usually write reviews, but this Starbucks truly stood out.

From the moment I walked in, the manager and every member of the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. As someone who grew up in the South and is currently serving on active duty in the military, I stopped in wearing my uniform while working remotely, and they immediately made me feel comfortable and at home. The manager was personable, took the time to have a conversation, and the rest of the team shared that same positive energy.

Being new to the area, it’s refreshing to find a place where I already feel like I can become a regular. The store has plenty of space to work, a great view of downtown Burlingame, and an atmosphere that’s both relaxing and inviting.

The drinks are consistently made correctly and come out quickly, but what really sets this location apart is the people. Great customer service can completely change an experience, and this team delivers it every time.

If you’re ever in the Burlingame area, I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by this Starbucks. It’s one of the most welcoming locations I’ve visited, and it’s easy to see why so many people keep coming back.

“Hands down the best Matcha in the area. Beautiful velvety texture, rich dense taste with perfect balance of sweetness/bitterness. Great steady caffeine high, pretty strong (I only get half a shot here). Their einspanner and sesame syrup are also chef's kiss 😚🤌

Nice clean open air store as well. I like that you can order ahead.

I give 4/5 stars for 2 reasons that keep me from going there more often:
- It doesnt open until 10am. I would love to see them open earlier! 10 is too late to wait for a caffeine fix, it kills me.
- No decaf options. Maybe consider stocking decaf espresso for those who want to enjoy your drinks later in the morning or afternoon.

I’m proud to say I’ve been to ALL the branches, from San Jose to Daly City! Vicky and Tyler from the team helped me coordinate drinks for two company events within a week, for a total of 600+ drinks!

There’s a couple of reasons why I prefer serving Tiger Tea for large events. 1.) Their drinks are actually good. 2.) Their pricing is extremely competitive. 3.) They use non-dairy creamer, so it’s an easy win for people with lactose intolerance. 4.) They deliver!

Drinks ordered:
- Classic black milk tea: Truly a classic!
- Jasmine milk tea: This one was the crowd favorite
- Thai milk tea: I think I had three of these, so good!
- Brown rice tea: A nutty, dairy-free option
- Oolong tea: A bolder, dairy-free option

I got a mix of some drinks with boba and some without. If I could do it again, I think I would skip the boba, since the ones that sat out too long hardened a bit. 50% sweet was the perfect option for most folks. Some attendees asked if I had 0% options, which I would probably consider for a future order! 🤔

For the second, smaller event, I requested to add no ice, but leave some room, since we were putting them into the fridge for employees to grab. This worked out well and resulted in less “sweating” cups!

I’m very grateful they let me customize the little name tag that comes on the drinks, so my name wasn’t on 600+ cups. They put a cute “Happy10” for the name field instead!“

“Beet donuts EVER. And the ladies at the counter (MAMA!!!) are totally wonderful and adorable. The donuts are absolutely perfect: super light and airy and melt in the mouth. The cronies (doissants?) Are crispy and perfectly fried. Price point is better than where I live in Marin. Glad I’m not close to this place - I’d gain so much weight! Love these ladies and their donuts!!!“

“Tpumps is a great place to get boba at a decent price. Not too long ago, they raised their prices by 50 cents, which is disappointing but understandable. My go-to at Tpumps is the blackberry peach black tea with boba, and it always hits the spot. The pearl-tea ratio isn't the best, but the drink is still very worth it. I can appreciate the amount of customization this boba place offers, from the long list of flavors, to the many topping choices, to the amounts of sweetness and ice you can request, to the option to add milk. That's what makes it different from the rest. The staff at Burlingame are particularly excellent. A customer once mistook my order for their own and left, and the employees quickly noticed and remade my drink. Overall, a fine boba place, 4/5.“
