“Came here for dinner yesterday and honestly had such a great time. The vibe is really chill but still feels upscale, love that combo. Great place to catch up with friends or a date night with your special one.
Everything we ordered was delicious, but here are the highlights:
Fried chicken - crispy, juicy, great flavor. Simple but done really well.
Rasa sliders - these are a MUST. So buttery and perfectly seasoned, we were obsessed.
White elephant butter paper dosa - another must-get! Super fun to eat and the dosa itself is perfectly crispy. The real move is trying it with all the different sauces, each one hits differently.
Duck - loved the balance of rice, meat and veggies. Nothing overdone, just really well put together.
Finished with the coconut puma for dessert and it was such a good call. Perfect way to end the meal. Would def come back to this hidden gem”
“Excente atención Delicioso todo El Sr Adrian y sus 2 compañeros nos atendieron de lujo 100% recomendable”
“Yan gon is a family own Burmese restaurant on broadway Burlingame. The owner and the entire staff were extremely friendly , attentive , courteous . helpful, and welcoming . Their dishes are delicious . I have tried their Burmese Style Curry Lamb , Singapore Street noodles, Deep fried Chicken Wings , and Wor Wonton Soup. All four dishes were delicious, but my favorite is the won ton soup . This soup is perfect , it's so healthy and brothy. The broth is so rich that left a long lasting mouthwatering and coating sensation lingering in my tongue. The wontons are so tasty , juicy , and flavorful with the right amount of , I believe was pork , ginger , garlic ,chopped onions , sugar, salt , pepper , and shrimps . . The shrimps were very tastey and fresh . It didn't have that strange scent of ammonia or fishy smell like spoiled shrimps . The restaurant is simple , bright , clean , casual ambience with ample seatings. I have been here many times and got seated right away. No wait . This restaurant is a must try if you have the craving for Burmese food or just want to try something new.”
“We have dined at almost all Mediterranean restaurants in downtown Burlingame. The most outstanding in all categories is the Mediterranean kitchen on Lorton Avenue.
The location is most convenient and the Resturant atmosphere is most welcoming. From their humble Owner to each employee, each patron receives a warm and gracious welcoming.
The food and presentation is definitely five star in all aspects.
You truly feel the Mediterranean experience from the atmosphere to the delightful background music.
It is truly a great dining experience, both for lunch and dinner!”

“Velvet 48 is my favorite wine bar. They have interesting selections of wines and always adding new and interesting wines from Europe and the states. The staff are knowledgeable and offer tastings. They are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The noise level is perfect to enjoy your wine and conversations.”

“Good food it was a plate half chicken and half lamb with rice and salad also hummus. And dessert was kunafah , it was my first time tasting it and it was good much better than baqlava. Good hospitality and very clean environment. Definitely recommend. Thanks”
“Delicious vegan options include the Scallion Oil Noodles, and the Chongqing Noodles (super spicy, but you can dilute the broth with water and it will stil be the most delicious soup you'll ever have, though it could use extra veggies), the Mapo Tofu Steamed Dumplings are divine, rhe scallion pancakes are flakey and yummy (though a bit oily), and the cucumber salad is refreshing.”

“I love supporting small businesses and this place is the Best! I love their Lavazza cappuccino and pastries especially the cannolis! Got to try the vegetariana sandwich today and it was the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve had! Super cute spot and very kind people!”
“Great food and super friendly staff. We tried avocado toast and mocha. Turned out that they messed up our mocha and gave us a latte. They were extremely busy on a long weekend so I didn’t bother to ask them to fix it. They would have definitely fixed my order but I was okay with a latte too!”
“BG is a gorgeous restaurant, with well prepared food, and live music/jazz, most days of the week. Owners are very personable and hands-on, which is rare, amongst restaurants. Great place for special occasions or just a night out with your favorite person/people. Share a great experience, without a shocking price tag!”
“The food they serve is actually fresh, not the frozen type, but they do make it upon request. For example, I love fresh diced grilled country potatoes, not that stringy stuff you add water to to cook. Some people like it so just ask for hash browns and they will cook it for you.
Been eating at their restaurant for years now. Great quality food!”
“Nice Irish bar right in the middle of Broadway in Burlingame. The drinks are decent and there’s a great atmosphere. They have a little beer garden at the back which isn’t noticeable so ask at the bar for it to go look for it. It’s a cash only bar but they do have an ATM indoors but it charges you for a transaction. Best bring cash with you.”
“Family operated business establishments are always the best!! Food is superb!! Price is competitive!”
“Quality and ingredients are excellent. Portion sizes are large compared to most Japanese restaurants. There is no kids menu, so keep the portion sizes in mind when ordering for munchkins.”

“I’m Thai and my family was in the restaurant business so I know Thai food. Our group of over 10 people dined here today. Food was great. It was a team event so we requested a prix fixe menu and budget control. The restaurant was very responsive and go above and beyond to help us with the arrangements. The menu options was good. We had some vegans in the group and vegan options were good too. Everyone in my team loved it. Thank you for a wonderful evening!”

Jack, our server, and management took incredible care of us. Will absolutely be back to try the rest of the menu. My compliments to the kitchen and staff. Cheers!”
“Stella is a sweet, comfortable restaurant with lovely employees and tasty food. The cheese bread was excellent, and the spicy pasta special was absolutely amazing and full of flavor.
Unfortunately, my pork loin was disappointing. It was served with white beans and sauce, and the beans were actually the best part of the dish. The pork itself lacked flavor and was somewhat tough. I hope they revisit this dish because, in my opinion, it does not represent the quality of the rest of their menu.
What truly made our experience worthwhile was our server, George. He was one of the most attentive and sincere servers anyone could ask for. In today’s world, excellent service can be difficult to find, but Stella clearly knows how to choose its employees. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and it genuinely felt like a team effort to make sure we had a pleasant experience.
We understand how difficult it is to operate a restaurant today, and we appreciate what Stella is doing. We are repeat customers and look forward to returning—next time, I’ll just order a different entrée!”
“What made this place great besides the food was the service. We enjoyed salmon nigiri, California bomb, and the Alaska roll. Also had the plum sparking wine, which I’d absolutely recommend. I think what was notable was being cared about as if we were family. I’d 100% recommend and return to if ever back in the area.”
“If I could rate this place a 10 I would, the food is amazing, and also really big portions.. I mean REALLY big, all the food is flavorful especially the hash browns. I’m from Houston, Tx and the food there is is not as big as this breakfast wise and that’s very ironic!! Overall you should def go this is your sign!”
“I think this is the best Chinese in Burlingame. Food is fantastic Services amazing and the owner is very welcoming. He checked a couple of times to make sure my food was good. Everything tasted good and made a couple of really good recommendations. I’d have the Mu Shu, pork with pancakes.”
“BEST RAMEN EVER! I've eaten ramen all over the U.S. & this is absolutely the best I've ever had! You can't beat the rich savory creamy broth, tender noodle, moist chashu, all fresh toppings & generous portions. The beef short rib was fabulous flavor & succulent.
I had miso ramen & my son had TanTan ramen. This is my new favorite ramen eatery!
Staff is super kind & accommodating. I'm in electric wheelchair and they made space for me at their cozy restaurant. Food came out very quickly.”
“Love love love Christie’s! Have visited a half dozen times and the staff and service are amazing! The portions are… sufficient to say the least. Mushroom/swiss/chicken sausage omelette is THE BOMB.”

“This is a charming ice cream shop on broadway Burlingame. They have a great selection of tasty hand crafted ice creams, yogurts , sorbets, chocolates and candies. It's an ice cream shop that fulfill the most posh of taste. My favorite is the Ube ice cream . Its so luscious , thick and creamy texture with a mellow, subtle nutty, and a hint of vanilla flavor. Location is great. It's on broadway Burlingame next to Walgreens. Meter spots , parking lots , and 2 hrs of free parking available. Cute ambience and the entire staff is attentive and welcoming.”
“We have visited this establishment many times. We appreciated the chicken tikka masala, garlic cheese naan, and tandoori chicken. Their chai is also exceptional. The service is excellent, and the staff are welcoming. I am very pleased to have discovered an Indian restaurant that meets our preferences.”
“Staying loyal to a restaurant for 15 years speaks volumes about both the incredible quality of the food and the exceptional hospitality. It is rare to find a place where the owner, Ismaiel, makes you feel genuinely welcomed every single time you walk through the door. Warm hospitality like that turns a great meal into an unforgettable dining tradition.”
“This place has the best lasagna on the peninsula, hands down. The bolognese is by far the best lasagna I have ever eaten. It is layers and layers and layers of light, fresh pasta with the most flavorful sauce ever. And if you're in the mood for something with just the right kick, the italian sausage lasagna is fantastic! My daughter is a fan of the make your own pasta, where your choice of noodles, sause and protein gives you just what you want. They have a fabulous lobster ravioli and a fantastic porcini mushroom ravioli special that are favorites.
Meals start with some of the lightest bread ever made, and you cannot go wrong ending your meal with tiramisu. We will continue to go here often!”

“Been to this place twice. Dropped in on a Friday and it was kinda slow The gentlemen working the bar didn't seem like he wanted to be there. But he still put on a smile when serving the drinks. Went back a there was a woman bartending. She was extremely sweet and very welcoming. There was also a back patio that also has a tv and you could smoke back there.”
“Cafe Central is a fantastic spot in Burlingame, and they offer a really wide selection of food, pastries, and coffee. Honestly, everything we’ve tried here has been great. The food is so good that it’s actually pretty hard to find a seat, even if you visit during off-peak hours! That clearly shows how popular and high-quality this place is, but you definitely have to be prepared to wait a bit for an open table. The owner/manager is wonderful and very friendly—we run into her pretty much every single time we stop by, and she always makes the experience feel welcoming. The staff behind the counter can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on the day, but in general, they're good. If you don't mind a little bit of a crowd, it's absolutely worth a visit for the great menu.”
“Found this when I look for Korean restaurant that serve noodle soup. This restaurant is next to hospital which I think in a good location. Next to it is boba shop which I saw some customer went to the the boba shop after their meals.
The interior is very simple, with couple tables and the dishes photo all over the wall which looks inviting.
The menu is pretty complete with many varieties of Korean dishes. We order Spicy Seafood noodle soup and Stir fried noodles with black bean sauce.
They give 3 type of banchan, daikon, beansprout and kimchi. The kimchi is sweet and later I saw it is from a big jar that you can get from grocery store. I wish they make it fresh in the restaurant. At least if have it from jar, don't show the jar.
The noddle soup is yummy but not spicy. the Stir fried noodle is served with hot iron plate. the presentation is good but I just feel it is too sweet.
The server is very nice and very energetic. Only one server serves all the tables.
Overall it was ok meals. May be next time we will try other dishes and wish they make the kimchi in house.”
“It was fun going during the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!”
“It is one of the best sushi restaurants that serves fresh sushi, not freshly thawed ones. The foods are pretty authentic and delicious. I highly recommend this place for those who really wish to dine at authentic Japanese restaurants.”
Cheap Eats
“I ordered a heart-shaped pepperoni and sausage pizza online for Valentine’s Day, and it was coming out of the oven and getting boxed right on time when I went to pick it up. The staff was very friendly, and the inside of the restaurant was clean and spacious. The pizza tasted delicious, as usual, and was prepared perfectly. I drove all the way from San Francisco to treat ourselves to Pizza My Heart, and it was worth the hour round trip to enjoy one of our favorite spots.”
“I had to stop by Royal Donut Cafe because of all of the great reviews I saw on Yelp! And I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all! The staff was awesome! From the cashier, to the cooks, and the server. And I even got a chance to meet the owner, Terri, who has taken over the business for the past 15 years! Definitely going to be a regular here! I ordered the vegetarian omelet! 😋”
“Great sandwiches but not amazing. The portions are huge here so you will not go hungry. Long lines as well but, the food is worth it. Overall, worth trying for sure. I’m a bit of a sandwich snob being from Chicago, so when I say these are not amazing, I do not mean they are not delish. I’d just probably not go back.”
“Me and my colleagues were browsing through DoorDash and deciding what to get to drink since it was a warm day and it is best to stay hydrated with something refreshing. We came upon this spot, I had it before at a different location and my fellow colleagues said they ordered from here before where they enjoyed it and that is when we all agreed this is the place we will order from. They have many many things to choose from, such as their top sellers, milk teas, fruit teas, matcha drinks, brown sugar drinks, cheese foam drinks, frosties, original tea, coffee, a kid’s menu, yakult series and much more to choose from. After browsing through their menu we knew what we exactly wanted and the order was placed which got me excited because I was in need of something good to drink. Everything here is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. This place is a great option in the area since they stand out compared to other drink shops nearby. You can order in person, place an order online for pickup of have it delivered to you through a food delivery app. Finally when the drinks arrived, we all popped the straw through the cup and the moment from that first sip was satisfying and a thirst quencher. I highly recommend this place to all boba enthusiasts, to anyone willing to try something new, if you are in need of a refreshing drink like us or if you just so happen to be in the area to check them out. I definitely will order from here again and make a visit one day.”
“Easy to find, plenty of parking. Very impressive office complex, very inviting common area with a short walk to the water side of the San Francisco Bay. Views of aircraft on final approach to San Francisco International Airport.
The coffee shop is clean and well laid out, kind of small, not very much indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor seating and tables.
Good servers, our order was taken promptly and correctly. Lattes and bagels, both delicious.
We would visit again.”
“I thought the food was great! The ingredients were high quality and I was licking the plate at the end. There may be some struggles with the service due to them primarily speaking Spanish. The server is also a quiet speaker. The atmosphere didn't really stand out to me, as the restaurant was mostly empty. Overall, it was a good experience that I would recommend for those in the area who want good Mexican food.”
“Tpumps is a great place to get boba at a decent price. Not too long ago, they raised their prices by 50 cents, which is disappointing but understandable. My go-to at Tpumps is the blackberry peach black tea with boba, and it always hits the spot. The pearl-tea ratio isn't the best, but the drink is still very worth it. I can appreciate the amount of customization this boba place offers, from the long list of flavors, to the many topping choices, to the amounts of sweetness and ice you can request, to the option to add milk. That's what makes it different from the rest. The staff at Burlingame are particularly excellent. A customer once mistook my order for their own and left, and the employees quickly noticed and remade my drink. Overall, a fine boba place, 4/5.”
“If you’re looking for the best smash burger in Burlingame, look no further than Lilikoi. The food is consistently great, and the service is some of the friendliest I’ve experienced. A huge bonus is their delivery service to nearby bars—it’s the perfect setup for a night out. Highly recommend!”
“Wasn’t planning on writing a review but the bubble waffle was the best and most perfect one ever had (before I tore into it). Even the edges were shaped well. The Okinawan with free crystal bonds substitution was spot on. Thank you kind lady for being so friendly and accomplishing to my family. We will be back!”
“I don’t usually write reviews, but this Starbucks truly stood out.
From the moment I walked in, the manager and every member of the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. As someone who grew up in the South and is currently serving on active duty in the military, I stopped in wearing my uniform while working remotely, and they immediately made me feel comfortable and at home. The manager was personable, took the time to have a conversation, and the rest of the team shared that same positive energy.
Being new to the area, it’s refreshing to find a place where I already feel like I can become a regular. The store has plenty of space to work, a great view of downtown Burlingame, and an atmosphere that’s both relaxing and inviting.
The drinks are consistently made correctly and come out quickly, but what really sets this location apart is the people. Great customer service can completely change an experience, and this team delivers it every time.
If you’re ever in the Burlingame area, I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by this Starbucks. It’s one of the most welcoming locations I’ve visited, and it’s easy to see why so many people keep coming back.
10/10—nothing but great things to say.
Shout to the manager David he needs an immediate promotion for his level of leadership, professionalism, hospitality.”
“Outstanding service and a pleasant surprise from the manager Mehmet. He let us put on the world while serving us with delightful dishes. The food was amazing, definitely going back.

“Beef noodle soup was 5 star, pork chive shrimp egg dumpling was 3 star
Noodles were springy and beef was tender, dumpling wrapper was too thick and filling was undersaltes”

Jack, our server, and management took incredible care of us. Will absolutely be back to try the rest of the menu. My compliments to the kitchen and staff. Cheers!”
“We arrived before our reservation time and they were able to accommodate. Our waiter was great with detailing the dishes and answering my culinary questions. Service was slow. It took nearly 25 minutes to receive cocktails. I had to inquire about appetizers which were ordered with cocktails. The GM was very present and walking the dining area but not speaking to any guests or acknowledging that they are waiting without drinks and food. The food was good. I have a different palate so my good may great for another person. The only negative was how long everything took when it wasn’t a night where there was a full house of guests. If that can improve, we may return. For context we ordered Smoked Bourbon Prickly Pear Margarita Calamari Crab & Artichoke Dip Crab Stuffed Sole topped with roasted garlic and shallot shrimp and a side of mashed potatoes Ribeye with compound butter and Cold Water Lobster Tail We switched from cocktails to wine with the main dish.”

“Food is phenomenal. Had a loaded breakfast croissant and oh my goodness, it was huge!! Got halfway through it before we remembered to take a photo. The iced tree leches coffee is packed with flavor and a beautiful way to start the morning. The business is kind of tucked a way off the road a bit but easy to find. The lady that owns it is incredible.”
“The cutest place I have ever been to, both Julia and giovanni. were excellent. My favorite cocktail was the Christmas drop, it was so good, i had like 5 of them🤦♀️, can't wait to come back. This is a small swanky spot, that serves wine and special ingredients cocktails, appetizers. cocktails do change by season.”
“Hands down the best Matcha in the area. Beautiful velvety texture, rich dense taste with perfect balance of sweetness/bitterness. Great steady caffeine high, pretty strong (I only get half a shot here). Their einspanner and sesame syrup are also chef's kiss 😚🤌
Nice clean open air store as well. I like that you can order ahead.
I give 4/5 stars for 2 reasons that keep me from going there more often:
- It doesnt open until 10am. I would love to see them open earlier! 10 is too late to wait for a caffeine fix, it kills me.
- No decaf options. Maybe consider stocking decaf espresso for those who want to enjoy your drinks later in the morning or afternoon.
Thanks for all you do!”
“⭐️Found this gem during a layover in San Francisco literally a 2 minute walk from my hotel, and I’m so glad I stumbled onto it. From the second I walked in, the service was outstanding. The manager was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, the kind of hospitality that actually makes your day better, not just polite small talk.
⭐️What really stood out was when she noticed I was struggling to figure out how to get to the nearest market. Without hesitation, she offered to drive me there herself so I wouldn’t have to pay for an Uber. That kind of genuine generosity is rare, and it turned a simple coffee stop into one of the highlights of my trip.
⭐️The food was immaculate fresh, well presented, and clearly made with care. I also loved that they have outdoor seating with proper tables, perfect for enjoying your coffee in the sun or people-watching for a bit. The whole space was spotless, clean and tidy from the counters to the restrooms, which says a lot about how the place is run.
⭐️The atmosphere overall was relaxed but polished the kind of spot you’d want to return to even if you didn’t have a flight to catch. If you’re ever passing through SF, even just for a layover like me, this place is 100% worth the short walk. Highly recommend!😍❤️”
“We got 2 meals (combo plate and chicken gyro) and both were amazing. Also, a great order of fries as a side. All delicious! We spoke with the owner for awhile as our food was being made. Great guy. We definitely recommend this business! We're going back tonight to try a cheese steak and a lamb wrap.”
