“Exceptional food: a creative and imaginative menu. Haven’t had such good Indian-fusion food in the longest time. Most importantly, the service (Chris was our server) was remarkable! I can’t wait to get all my friends and family here!!! What a gem of a find.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible Mediterranean Food!
If you are looking for authentic, fresh, and incredibly flavorful Mediterranean food, this is the place to go in Burlingame! The kabobs are cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with the right amount of spices. Every side dish, from the hummus to the fresh rice, tastes homemade and high-quality.
Beyond the food, the service is outstanding. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. The portions are very generous for the price, meaning you definitely won't leave hungry. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch wrap or sitting down for a full dinner plate, it never disappoints. Highly recommended!”

“Food was good, but did not particularly stand out compared to other dumpling places. Had great service from one server, but the rest were very stressed and hurried. It was hard to get their attention. Food presentation was great and they surprisingly have a large bar. I would come back again and try different items.”
“Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, great Turkish tea, and really good hookah. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful, and the vibe of the place was very cozy and stylish. Our waiter Ayaz was very friendly, attentive, and really listened to our preferences and requests. Definitely a great spot for a relaxing evening”

If you are looking for interesting wine, and a chill atmosphere, this is it. They have Thursday night wine events that are a great value to taste new wines. They get prominent wine makers, and wineries from major areas to have tastings throughout the year as well. They have small bites to nosh with your wine. :)”

“Went out to celebrate a special day and decided to try ramen for the first time. I absolutely loved the depth of flavor in the broth—it was a great introduction to the dish. The fried chicken we ordered didn’t quite live up to expectations, but the yakitori skewers were outstanding and definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I’m excited to come back and explore more ramen options.”
“I decided to give it a try because Mediterranean. There are too many Italian and Asian places and I wanted something different.
Gives an I glad I did !
They have a great menu choice and although I don't remember the name of my dish it was lamb and it was amazing. Perfect temperature, amazing flavor, the rice was spot on and the salad crunchy and fresh.
I am not sure what stressing they used but I could drink that by itself, it was amazing. The lady who served me had a smile on her face and was super polite. The bread I got with my order was delicious.
I am absolutely coming back here and I will drag everybody here who asks me where to eat.
Next time I want to try their pizza so watch for that.
A really great place, I can only recommend it.
Update 05/2026:
Kofta Kebap Plate.... I just returned from Sydney where I got to try and enjoy all sorts of meals so it was my desire to stop by Med. P&G for a Kofta Kebab plate.. and I am so glad I did.
The best was tender and flavorful, the gentle lemon dressing on the crisp salad was incredible, the rice really really good and the bread... I have no words.
I am glad I came back!”

“BG is a gorgeous restaurant, with well prepared food, and live music/jazz, most days of the week. Owners are very personable and hands-on, which is rare, amongst restaurants. Great place for special occasions or just a night out with your favorite person/people. Share a great experience, without a shocking price tag!”
“Just a short & pleasant walk from the SFO Westin, Aloft, Marriott, et al., this modest hidden gem (founded 1979!) serves up both fresh & generously cut sushi & delicious old school burgers, all very reasonably priced. Tucked toward the back left of a nondescript office complex parking lot, it's worth the hunt :-) Dine in or take out for an enjoyable picnic on the waterfront where you can watch the planes take off & land at SFO. My only suggestion to them would be to offer cold sake in addition to the warmed sake on the menu...”
“Huge shout out to Christie’s. This place has that true family owned, tight knit restaurant vibe that’s getting harder and harder to find. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the care and pride behind everything they do. The freshly squeezed orange juice is unreal bright, fresh, and exactly how it should be.
And the chicken fried steak… wow. Perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered just right it’s straight fire. This is comfort food done right, the kind that hits every note and leaves you already planning your next visit. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and the quality is consistent.
They’re also dog friendly, which makes it an even better neighborhood spot for locals. What really sets Christie’s apart though is the people friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to serve their community. It feels like a place where regulars are family and new faces are treated the same way. If you’re looking for great food, honest flavors, and that classic neighborhood restaurant energy, Christie’s is a gem in Burlingame that absolutely deserves the love.”
“I love supporting small businesses and this place is the Best! I love their Lavazza cappuccino and pastries especially the cannolis! Got to try the vegetariana sandwich today and it was the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve had! Super cute spot and very kind people!”

“We love going here - it's sort of tucked away giving it a hidden gem feeling. The staff is warm, friendly and attentive. Sashimi is delicious and wonderfully presented. It was pricier than we expected but one wonderful thing they did for us was deep fry some of the decorations on the premium sashimi plate (the shrimp heads and the mackerel bones) - it was delicious and a nice, fun finish to the meal.”
“I’m Thai and my family was in the restaurant business so I know Thai food. Our group of over 10 people dined here today. Food was great. It was a team event so we requested a prix fixe menu and budget control. The restaurant was very responsive and go above and beyond to help us with the arrangements. The menu options was good. We had some vegans in the group and vegan options were good too. Everyone in my team loved it. Thank you for a wonderful evening!”
“Had a lovely meal here for our first, but not last, visit. Started with a caesar salad, then shared the salmon dish and a gamberi pasta dish. All so good. Service was spectacular. If Emma was an example of the quality of servers at Stella, we will be happy to return. Thank you.”
“Toma is a happy place. Their caterpillar rolls are amazing, best I've ever had, and we've always had a good time visiting this neighborhood gem. It is a local favorite, and very affordable!”
“Amazing poke’ ! Incredible service! Awesome owners! Cool Asian sparkling water flavors! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Takeout Restaurants
“The moment you bite into any dish here, you KNOW it's fresh. What I loved the most was that each dumpling had sooo much meat in it and lots of flavor! They even have an open kitchen layout so you can watch them make the dumplings! If dumplings aren't your thing, definitely try their House Special Beef Noodle Soup and be sure to get the Marinated Beef appetizer. The garlic sauce it comes with is so good.
If you're looking for authentic, handmade dumplings, this is your place!
What we ordered:
* Beef, Lamb & Fish Dumpling
* Marinated Beef
* Cucumber Salad
* House Special Beef Noodle Soup
* Beef XLB
* Crab Roe XLB
* Iced Lychee Black Tea”
“This is a charming ice cream shop on broadway Burlingame. They have a great selection of tasty hand crafted ice creams, yogurts , sorbets, chocolates and candies. It's an ice cream shop that fulfill the most posh of taste. My favorite is the Ube ice cream . Its so luscious , thick and creamy texture with a mellow, subtle nutty, and a hint of vanilla flavor. Location is great. It's on broadway Burlingame next to Walgreens. Meter spots , parking lots , and 2 hrs of free parking available. Cute ambience and the entire staff is attentive and welcoming.”
“I would like to share my disappointing experience at this restaurant last night regarding the reservation process and customer service.
Before arriving, we called the restaurant to make a reservation. The staff member who answered told us to make a reservation through Yelp. I explained that Yelp was not allowing us to book, which was the reason we called directly. She then told us that she would put us in the system and that our table would be ready in about 20 minutes, which worked perfectly for our drive to the restaurant.
However, when we arrived and informed the hostess that we had a reservation, she immediately told us that the restaurant does not take reservations and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. I even showed her the sms confirmation from my phone.This was very confusing and frustrating because we had just spoken with someone who confirmed our reservation over the phone.
As a result, we arrived expecting a table to be ready, only to find out that no reservation existed. We were dining with a child, so the unexpected wait made the situation even more difficult.
I understand that restaurants can be busy, but clear and consistent communication is very important. If reservations are not accepted, this should have been communicated honestly during the phone call. The conflicting information made us feel misled and disappointed with the service experience.
I hope management can review this situation with the staff to prevent similar misunderstandings for future guests.”
“This bubble tea spot was such a vibe. I got the brown sugar boba and it was honestly perfection. The drink was creamy, smooth, and perfectly sweet. The boba pearls were soft and chewy just the way I like them. The tea and milk ratio was spot on, and every sip tasted super fresh and balanced.
It is a cute little spot, perfect for quick pickups. There is not much space to sit, but it totally works if you just want to grab your drink and go. Everything felt freshly made and not overly sugary like some other places. You can tell they put effort into getting the flavor right.
I finished my drink way too fast because it was that good. Definitely one of the best brown sugar bobas I have had in a while. I am for sure coming back again.”
“I tried Turkish cuisine and was very satisfied. The dishes were rich, juicy and well balanced in taste. You can feel the traditional approach to cooking and high-quality ingredients.waiters were so nice and there was one young lady her name was Fynda omg she is so sweet and kind. JUST VISIT THIS PLACE”
“Great food!
Took away a star for a somewhat odd service. We were repeatedly asked to clarify our order -we had ordered samosa and chai (snack) but strangely were served samosa chaat. Tasted great though.
The Idlies were also great . Would have loved a bit more of the chutneys and the sambar.
Also would be good to have drinks in non-disposable cups for sit-down orders.Would suggest considering non-plastic stirrers.
Would highly recommend the restaurant overall.”

“Found this when I look for Korean restaurant that serve noodle soup. This restaurant is next to hospital which I think in a good location. Next to it is boba shop which I saw some customer went to the the boba shop after their meals.
The interior is very simple, with couple tables and the dishes photo all over the wall which looks inviting.
The menu is pretty complete with many varieties of Korean dishes. We order Spicy Seafood noodle soup and Stir fried noodles with black bean sauce.
They give 3 type of banchan, daikon, beansprout and kimchi. The kimchi is sweet and later I saw it is from a big jar that you can get from grocery store. I wish they make it fresh in the restaurant. At least if have it from jar, don't show the jar.
The noddle soup is yummy but not spicy. the Stir fried noodle is served with hot iron plate. the presentation is good but I just feel it is too sweet.
The server is very nice and very energetic. Only one server serves all the tables.
Overall it was ok meals. May be next time we will try other dishes and wish they make the kimchi in house.”
“Now not so new but still fairly new to Broadway. The food quality is good and the atmosphere is uniquely refreshing. Good air circulation as the ceiling is very tall. It’s perfect for large groups and gathering”

Cheap Eats
“HUGE sandwiches that make you savor each bite. I got to try this location for the first time and it’s such a big uplift from the original one in San Bruno.
Got the chipotle chicken sandwich with Ceaser salad and it was delicious. Love the way chicken and melted crunchy cheese comes together to make a wholesome meal. Highly highly highly recommend!”
“I ordered a heart-shaped pepperoni and sausage pizza online for Valentine’s Day, and it was coming out of the oven and getting boxed right on time when I went to pick it up. The staff was very friendly, and the inside of the restaurant was clean and spacious. The pizza tasted delicious, as usual, and was prepared perfectly. I drove all the way from San Francisco to treat ourselves to Pizza My Heart, and it was worth the hour round trip to enjoy one of our favorite spots.”
“I had to stop by Royal Donut Cafe because of all of the great reviews I saw on Yelp! And I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all! The staff was awesome! From the cashier, to the cooks, and the server. And I even got a chance to meet the owner, Terri, who has taken over the business for the past 15 years! Definitely going to be a regular here! I ordered the vegetarian omelet! 😋”
“If you’re looking for the best smash burger in Burlingame, look no further than Lilikoi. The food is consistently great, and the service is some of the friendliest I’ve experienced. A huge bonus is their delivery service to nearby bars—it’s the perfect setup for a night out. Highly recommend!”
“Tpumps is a great place to get boba at a decent price. Not too long ago, they raised their prices by 50 cents, which is disappointing but understandable. My go-to at Tpumps is the blackberry peach black tea with boba, and it always hits the spot. The pearl-tea ratio isn't the best, but the drink is still very worth it. I can appreciate the amount of customization this boba place offers, from the long list of flavors, to the many topping choices, to the amounts of sweetness and ice you can request, to the option to add milk. That's what makes it different from the rest. The staff at Burlingame are particularly excellent. A customer once mistook my order for their own and left, and the employees quickly noticed and remade my drink. Overall, a fine boba place, 4/5.”
“Simply love this place! The food is incredibly delicious, the staff is patient and very friendly ( and they ARE bilingual so you don't have to speak English to enjoy their marvelous dishes ), the portions are big enough for 2 or to take what's left home for dinner. Cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant highly enough.”
“We walked here from our hotel and we’re so glad we did! The coffee is amazing - high quality, made with care, unique - and the food is phenomenal. We ordered the frittata breakfast sandwich and added prosciutto. You HAVE to try it - adding the prosciutto is worth it I’m telling you!! It’s even better than it looks in the picture. We wish we had Equator Coffee back home!”
“Wasn’t planning on writing a review but the bubble waffle was the best and most perfect one ever had (before I tore into it). Even the edges were shaped well. The Okinawan with free crystal bonds substitution was spot on. Thank you kind lady for being so friendly and accomplishing to my family. We will be back!”
“The photos look legit. Rating was high and I'm in the mood for some ABC style chow mein (the thick round noodle).
The chicken chow mein was not bad. Tons of wok air. I liked the fact that it has lots of vegetables. Decent size noodle. Only thing is, it's a bit too salty and has a little bit of bitter after taste. 澀味. I suspect it's the soy sauce? Could be the salt. Or overcooked soy sauce. Otherwise, it's pretty good.”
“It was fun going during the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!”
“Loving the spring menu and especially grateful for Miguel at Burlingame Starbucks who took my questions and my order! I went earlier this week and he was so patient and thoughtful modifying my order. Miguel's kindness and help was deeply noticed and appreciated, and I will try to visit this location again when I'm next in the area!”

“We arrived before our reservation time and they were able to accommodate. Our waiter was great with detailing the dishes and answering my culinary questions. Service was slow. It took nearly 25 minutes to receive cocktails. I had to inquire about appetizers which were ordered with cocktails. The GM was very present and walking the dining area but not speaking to any guests or acknowledging that they are waiting without drinks and food. The food was good. I have a different palate so my good may great for another person. The only negative was how long everything took when it wasn’t a night where there was a full house of guests. If that can improve, we may return. For context we ordered Smoked Bourbon Prickly Pear Margarita Calamari Crab & Artichoke Dip Crab Stuffed Sole topped with roasted garlic and shallot shrimp and a side of mashed potatoes Ribeye with compound butter and Cold Water Lobster Tail We switched from cocktails to wine with the main dish.”
“A good meal with excellent service, however unlike other tasting menus there wasn't too much explanation of the dishes when they were presented. Also the space was cavernous which is fine, and we were at a booth, but since it wasn't crowded it seems to lack the intimacy I was looking for. More of a place to be seen vibe.”
“Had a lovely meal here for our first, but not last, visit. Started with a caesar salad, then shared the salmon dish and a gamberi pasta dish. All so good. Service was spectacular. If Emma was an example of the quality of servers at Stella, we will be happy to return. Thank you.”

“Love this place. I 1st discovered this place when my kid was at UC Davis. Great boba drinks and love their popcorn chicken. Today I got their special the fried octopus and jasmine tea. Super delicious. Will definitely come back. And so glad that they are all over the Bay Area.”
“Found this gem while strolling through the neighborhood. The staff here are incredibly welcoming, they even surprised me with a complimentary Canelé, which honestly stole the show! It had that signature hard, crackly shell and an airy, tender interior that was perfectly balanced in sweetness. Pair it with a latte, and you’re set. I also gave their Hojicha Latte a go; while the milk was steamed beautifully, the tea flavor felt a little light. A bit more punch from the Hojicha would make it a 10/10. Still, a wonderful spot with great energy and top-tier pastries.”
