“Been to this place twice. Dropped in on a Friday and it was kinda slow The gentlemen working the bar didn't seem like he wanted to be there. But he still put on a smile when serving the drinks. Went back a there was a woman bartending. She was extremely sweet and very welcoming. There was also a back patio that also has a tv and you could smoke back there.“

“Our waiter, Sinan, was absolutely amazing- very attentive, knew the menu, and professional. My husband ordered a burger and loved it. I had a hot cabbage salad which was delicious. The cheese & charcuterie was good and served with ham and carmelized onions which were yummy. The “aged Gouda” was actually smoked Gouda. I suggest they dim the lights further than they were dimmed on 16 Feb, 2025.“

“I was staying in this Hilton and wasn't too hungry, but decided to get something from this restaurant. I sat at the bar and was helped by the bartender as soon as he was done with another customer. I ended up having a burger with sweet potato fries and they were both great. Of course the burger wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was much better than most restaurants, the sweet potato fries were perfectly done.

I read some of the reviews of this restaurant, a couple of them were for different places in the hotel, they're not open for breakfast and they don't carry packaged goods.

Some reviewers didn't like the pricing. It's not inexpensive, but I think it was priced right. The burger and fries were $22. McDonald's and Carl's Jr. are around $15-18 these days, $22 is a good deal for a great food in a nice hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world. I had a cocktail, $16, this is the same that I pay at an average bar these days.

I thought that overall, the place was very clean and werll laid out, and the staff were all very professional. This is an area where people can get offended because you used the wrong hand to open a door, they're crazy, so to be able to find attentive, courteous, and professional employees, is amazing.

I will be staying here again, and I'll probably eat at Fire|Vine again.“

“first off hector was amazing. Hands down best service out there. The food was way above expectations especially for being a restaurant inside a hotel. My table ordered the chicken wings (7/10) birria tacos (9/10) jam burger (7/10) and ravioli (8/10). Overall everyone really enjoyed their food. They had a lot of great options and a wide variety. The only downside I could see could be the price, but besides that I would definitely recommend.“

“Honestly, this is my favorite speakeasy in the Bay Area. It quietly opened during Covid and quickly became one of those places you almost want to keep secret. Reservations only. Strictly. and getting a prime-time slot isn’t always easy — which says a lot about how popular it is.

The vibe is amazing: old-fashioned leather chairs, bookshelves stretching all the way to the ceiling, and dim, intimate lighting that makes the space feel cozy, sexy and private. It’s the kind of place where you can definitely dress up and enjoy a proper night out.

The drink selection is huge and very creative. Their specialty cocktails come in a deck of tarot cards, which makes choosing a drink part of the fun. My go-to is the Wisewoman, and the French 75 is also beautifully balanced. That said, they update their menu pretty often. “It was a nice spot to just eat and chill for a bit. Me and my brother just came off a roller coaster of flight and emotions. So we were pretty hungry. She made sure we had our condiments before our food came out and made sure everything was good for us. She was very attentive towards us and was such a sweet lady. Well let me tell you about Newell's.. The bartender was fabulous! She wasn't even sure what a certain drink was but she more than nailed it! It was right on! My Cadillac margarita was potent! I managed to wobble out of there to my next destination.. but barely! They do not serve food but our sweet bartender brought popcorn in order to save me embarrassment!
