“Been to this place twice. Dropped in on a Friday and it was kinda slow The gentlemen working the bar didn't seem like he wanted to be there. But he still put on a smile when serving the drinks. Went back a there was a woman bartending. She was extremely sweet and very welcoming. There was also a back patio that also has a tv and you could smoke back there.“

“This restaurant has been here since 2007 and I really should have gone in sooner, since they have perfected the art of steak. I believe they can give House of Prime Rib a run for their money, especially with their larger portion sizes for about the same price.

Their dinner menu has a few options, but their steaks are really well cooked with just enough red without being bloody. Their jus is divine and each bite of steak tastes heavenly with enough flavor and fat that melts in your mouth. They do offer two types of horseradish, as well as salt and pepper on the table.

All their entrees come with 2 sides (we really enjoyed the mashed potatoes and cream spinach), a popover (which is good but not as good as their complementary, freshly baked bread), and a house salad which had a lovely dressing that I can't name.

We also had two glasses of wine, both bursting with flavor. I'd recommend the Unshackled wine if you want a blended red wine with a fruitier taste or a Merlot for a drier one.

While we were too full for dessert, they had delicuous sounding options in creme brulee, tiramisu, and cheesecake.

The staff were very friendly, easy to make reservations through a phone call, and we certainly will be dining here again in the future.“

“Rolled into town on a Wednesday, looking to book a late night party on the upcoming Saturday. Monica behind the bar grabbed the owner Malhi from next door. They were both super helpful and made it easy. Had a great time with good drinks. Even pumped our own music through their sound system. Nice looking place with chill vibe.“

“Hey, I found this place last night when I was staying at the Westin Marriott across the street. The Korean BBQ pork tacos and mac and cheese were awesome! The tacos had this amazing sauce that really highlighted the Korean flavors, but it wasn't too spicy. And the mac and cheese? Perfect amount of cheese.“

The cheese & charcuterie was good and served with ham and carmelized onions which were yummy. The “aged Gouda” was actually smoked Gouda. I suggest they dim the lights further than they were dimmed on 16 Feb, 2025.“

“Great venue for parties & just a nice place to have drinks. Beer selection is fabulous as is the atmosphere. McGoverns bartenders are fun friendly & helpful. There are numerous games to enjoy playing from table hockey, billiards, checkers, pinball, ect. If you walk in solo...you’ll find yourself with plenty of friendly people & conversation!“

“This is the most beautiful brunch spot in Bay Area. The food was impeccable. I spoke with the owner and chef and learned that he had a Michelin guide background and also everything at the restaurant Is made in house. “I was staying in this Hilton and wasn't too hungry, but decided to get something from this restaurant. I sat at the bar and was helped by the bartender as soon as he was done with another customer. I ended up having a burger with sweet potato fries and they were both great. Of course the burger wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was much better than most restaurants, the sweet potato fries were perfectly done.

I read some of the reviews of this restaurant, a couple of them were for different places in the hotel, they're not open for breakfast and they don't carry packaged goods.

Some reviewers didn't like the pricing. It's not inexpensive, but I think it was priced right. The burger and fries were $22. McDonald's and Carl's Jr. are around $15-18 these days, $22 is a good deal for a great food in a nice hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world. I had a cocktail, $16, this is the same that I pay at an average bar these days.

I thought that overall, the place was very clean and werll laid out, and the staff were all very professional. This is an area where people can get offended because you used the wrong hand to open a door, they're crazy, so to be able to find attentive, courteous, and professional employees, is amazing.

I will be staying here again, and I'll probably eat at Fire|Vine again.“

“We had one of the best experiences last night. Tim our waiter was one of the best we have had. He was able to find Sprite Zero for my wife's drink. He also delivered a warm chocolate chip cookie with a small scoop of ice cream for my wife even though it wasn't in the menu. His ability to go above the call of duty and not just say no I can't get that for you was so amazing it had to make sure it is recognized. Exceptional service needs to be acknowledge and rewarded. Thanks again Tim for making our night! Oh yeah by the way the food was very good too!��“

“I have stayed at this hotel for the past month. On nights that I'm too tired to go out of the hotel for dinner. I have dined in.

The pear salad is my favorite. The combination of pecans,goat cheese & pomegranate is excellent. I love the honey mustard dressing. I Added some grilled chicken on top and it's even more perfect. I also love their steak wedge salad!

More recently I have stopped in for breakfast as well. Today I had the Challa French toast with pork sausages. Oh my God that is delicious! The pork sausages were huge, flavorful and still moist. The French toast was amazing. I could not finish it all.

The other morning, I had the Create your own omelette with potatoes, that was also made to perfection as well. Not overcooked and dry but moist and even the cheese was melted perfectly. The portion size was huge big plus

The service is excellent. This morning at breakfast Drew treated me with professionalism, respect, timeliness and Care. We even got to talk and share a few good moments. The Hostess has always been super nice to me. The staff always recommending me great dishes and pointing me in the right direction. The staff is Top notch and deserve a raise.

It's not all sunshine and rainbows though. Corporate- If you are reading this, please make the Hostess and Market dedicated positions. During the one month that I have been here, I have observed and experienced long wait times to be seated or ordering to go at the Market.
Peet's coffee grab and go this morning was especially challenging for the Wait staff. The line for to be seated for breakfast was humongous and people were visibly upset. I could feel their pain as in the morning we are trying to get in and get out because people have flights to catch. The Wait time is excessive because there is only one person seating people and also performing market cash register duties. The market person also has to warm up the food for the Pete's grab-and-go's which also increases the wait time for her hosting duties.

So Corporate if you are reading this, I implore you to make a change. Please hire dedicated market and hostess positions. Do not combine their Duties.

If you can eliminate the excessive wait times to be seated I think peoples experiences will be greatly enhanced. Instead people are having a bad experience right out the gate. It is very hard to overwrite a bad first impression.“
