“We had an incredible experience at wunderbar last night. Firstly, we didn’t have a reservation and despite being fully booked they accommodated us which was incredibly kind!

Next, enough good things can’t be said about this hidden whimsical speakeasy.. magical vibes, delicious concoctions and a cozy ambience, very creative menu both design, concept and combinations..

A cool thing about their menu is that they have a light/dark magic theme.. the light magic is the classic cocktail for example an Old fashion, the dark magic is Wunderbar’s take on the classic cocktail in this case it was Poison apple this month.. fabulous idea.. because sometime you just want your regular with a twist! They also have a nice selection of White magic Non alcoholic cocktails..

They were originally going to fit us in for just 20 mins but we ended up staying over an hour and had 4 cocktails. 1 was a special cocktail for the night which was a pandan flavored whiskey.. a tiki drink, the dreamcatcher and the poison apple.. highly recommend all four..

“What a quirky, rare find! A true dive bar, very real and authentic. There's, obviously, a bar, plus karaoke in the corner, a big wall for darts practice, a pool table, and several arcade games. Friday night was sparsely attended, but the karaoke was strong and the darts were still flying. Drinks were less than $10, the bartender was polite, and the other patrons were thoughtfully minding their own business. We loved everything about it?“

“We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. “Gemelos Cantina & Sports Bar is new and next door to their restaurant in Redwood City. Place your order for food at the restaurant and they bring it over to you on the bar side. Nice atmosphere with plenty of TV screens, a pool table and a group of couch seating inside. Outside there is a patio in the back with heaters.“

“It's a good old fashioned pub. Nothing fancy, just a nice comfortable place to have a drink and make a friend. There is a large outside area where you can smoke and have a drink, which is hard to find. It's my go to place after a hard days work. The service is the best !!“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. Without extra sauces the food is too dry. With it, delicious. The prices honor extra sauces and more!“

Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit.For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

“An interesting place to stop for lunch if you’re at Moffet Field. And it has a dog friend patio. The bar was closed on the Wednesday we went, but the grill was open.
This was apparently the former Officers Club building and sits across from the looming Hangar One.
Both the patty melt and Philly cheesesteak were tasty.
Don’t miss the Moffet Field Museum across the street.“
