“I wish I took some pics, especially of the pineapple on a stick. Super delicious and such a great date night spot! We came here for a nice dinner out, and the whole experience was amazing. The variety of meats they bring to your table is incredible, and the flame-fired sugar pineapple on a stick was such a fun touch. The salad bar is also really good if you want to mix it up between rounds.
The service was fantastic — the manager Rogerio was really nice and attentive, and made sure we were taken care of all night. The staff has fancy walkie talkies lol. I told them I was allergic to shrimp, and I never saw the shrimp person again. 🤪
They also have live piano some nights, which makes the atmosphere feel extra special.

“Honestly, I forgot about this place. Went here after Christmas to have cousins night.
Today, I am here for Pokemon day with my cousins and sis.

It had been 30 years. I was 12 when I first played it on my gameboy. There is pokemon related drink menu, so I got Vs Red drink. :) The menu is very cute and awesome. I actually tried almost 35% to 40% of the drink menu ($$$ x.x). No complaints so far.

My cousin ordered pizza. Chicken garlic. Hm, if I think back how it tasted... it was good. Thought I don't agree with the whole uncut garlic. Rather have it diced! As a cook, I ate one whole clove because I was curious, especially in my drunken state. Not sure if the slight numbness in my mouth was a factor after several drinks.

Sandra worked Sat day and Sunday nights and she served us both days. Top notch service. We'll be back when we come back to town. PS no food but we were able to order food to be delivered and they have an authentic dumpling house next door if you get hungry. 😀“

“You don’t even have to like Star Wars to love this place. :) fun selection of food and an entire column devoted to plant based. Solid selection of beer on tap, and plenty of delicious cocktails. The vibes are absolutely immaculate. The owners were there for karaoke and encouraging the good times to keep rolling. Really sweet people. It’s a place to go to be yourself and make friends and good memories. Can’t wait to go back.“

“New cocktail spot by the Protege crew which is upscale yet fun and has a great HH weekdays. Great option for pre or post dinner when in the area.

Highlights:
- Happy hour: 4-5:30 weekdays--including Fridays. Includes a set of $10 drinks which is a steal for the bay area. Includes one of my fave cocktails (vesper) so I was super excited about that.
- Cocktails: quality and a choice between classic like the vesper or high balls and special ones like the XXX and a bunch of others.
- Sodas: they make their own which I think is super cool
- Vibe: energetic and classy--not stuffy. Nice staff.
- Nuts: tasty warm snack while you enjoy your beverage. 4 stars
- Raw fish tostada: complex but fresh mix of flavors and texture. 4 stars
- Mochiko chicken: standard flavors and textures was fine. 3.5 stars
- Cocktail option on California: not too many but more opening up lately. And open later than most places in the area (11pm on Wed/Thurs, 12am Fri/Sat)
- No reservations needed
- Trainable: only few blocks away from the California Caltrain station

Midlights:
- A5 wagyu shu mai: was super excited at the sound of this but was just ok. 3 stars

- Unpredictable when it'll be busy. Came early on a Wednesday once and it was packed.“

“Jacks is where e go to watch Patriots games. They have a full bar with a nice tequila selection. The bartender are friendly and quick. There is a huge outside patio that is covered and has heaters. There are many TVs which makes for good sports watching.“

We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“

“Been hitting Normandy House a few weeks while on a temp gig in Santa Clara—in from cowboy country where a solid where a still shot is sometimes mandatory after a long day.

The Pareto thing always cracks me up: 20% of people do 80% of the work, and 80% of the gripes come from the other 20% like some clown reviews here. But everybody here has been super cool to this out-of-towner.

Trin especially—she makes a killer Long Island, best around and always keeps things chill.

“We had an outstanding lunch at Zazil! The food was delicious: fish tacos were fresh and bright and the enchiladas suizas were incredibly flavorful. The real standout was the fresh guacamole made tableside immediately after we ordered it. There is a reason we saw it on every table!
There were plenty of outdoor and indoor seating options, perfect for people watching.
The atmosphere was elevated and refined but not fussy.

This was apparently the former Officers Club building and sits across from the looming Hangar One.
Both the patty melt and Philly cheesesteak were tasty.

“Had a wonderful, fresh breakfast and a nice dinner at the restaurant in The Westin in Palo Alto. The breakfast I chose was the bar which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit.For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

“We’ve been to this places twice for wine tasting in the past but the bistro didn’t open at that time. So we went on Sunday for special Mother’s Day brunch and give it a try. My sister is their member so we can order five different entries from their set menu. We had Shakshuka , Benedict eggs, avocado and salmon with bread , duck fried rice and special charcuterie.
The taste of all dishes are amazing. The duck meat is very well seasoned so it is not gamey at all .Shakshuka tastes like the one we had in Jerusalem.
Nice and friendly service. We can’t wait to come back again for their regular meal.“

I had such an awesome time at Willow Den Public House! The atmosphere was incredibly friendly and fun, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the night. The bartenders were not only super knowledgeable but also really welcoming, which made the experience even better.

The DJ kept the energy high all night, and the dance floor was absolutely poppin’! If dancing isn’t your thing, there’s plenty more to enjoy—like the pool tables and beer pong, which were a total blast. For sports fans, there are plenty of TV screens, so you can catch all the games while sipping on some fantastic drinks.
