What a wonderful jewel in downtown San Jose! I had the Sauerbraten with spatzle and red cabbage. The beef was moist and full of flavor and didn’t need a knife to slice. While vacationing in Germany last summer, I became a spatzle fiend and this did not disappoint. Their selections of German beer was pleasing as they had Fruh Kolsch which I enjoyed while in Cologne. I took my parents here who visited from Germany to celebrate my mom's birthday. We were greeted very friendly and seated right away, even though we arrived earlier as our reservation. Food and drinks were excellent and brought some childhood memories back. Service was amazing, fast and super friendly. All in all we had a wonderful night and will definitely be back for more.

This place is wonderful!Teske's has an authentic, fantastic and relaxing German vibe with authentic food and drink. You won't regret going here if you're in the mood for German food or beverages, or a chill friendly atmosphere. ?My wife and I are vegetarian so we haven't had their non-veg entrees, but the pretzel and potato cakes are delicious!
