A portion of bò né was enough to share between two, although big eaters might get hungry not too long after. Really good - came with the beef, pate, a meatball?, two eggs on the sizzling plate plus bread, cup of tea, salad, and soy-ish sauce. Loved everything except for the salad, which was just ok. Busy food court so can be hard to find a table, so we ate outside, but we also didn't try hard to get one.”

The hubbie and I reaaaaaally enjoy this place! There are 2 locations in South Bay, one in Campbell and one in San Jose. Their food is always consistent at both locations, and the portion is humongous! The pricing is reasonable as well especially with the large portions. It’s a bit harder to find parking at the Campbell location during prime time (weekend brunch times). There are more parking at the San Jose location with the nearby neighborhood. The service is efficient and quick.

I always get the big boy breakfast, because I love all the proteins. My husband ordered country fried steak for this visit, and he changes his order each time and has no complaints for each dish.

Some orders come with a hot griddle side and you have options to pick between 4 types and customize it to your liking. I have ordered pancakes, crepes, and waffles. My favorite so far is the chocolate chip waffles (SO GOOD!!). The waffles were perfect consistency and crunch. Crepes were my least favorite, the flavor and texture weren’t like crepes I’ve had before. The spread that came with it also wasn’t the greatest combo with the crepes.

Bottom line: Good price, large portions, good flavors. Will keep coming back!

“TBH I was hesitant at first to eat at Acopia. As a vegan, most Mexican restaurants do not usually have options for me. Their menu is somewhat minimal and limited, so entered with few expectations or hopes that I could order anything more than a salad. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The owner came to our table and was most accommodating. I ordered a succulent nopales salad, street corn and some delicious blue corn sopes de calabasita (zucchini and flower). It was all quite tasty and I was even more surprised when she brought out some vegan mayo AND vegan cheese to top off my food with more flavor. The atmosphere is very modern and simply styled, mirroring their “chic” food menu. I found the food delicious though a bit on the bland side, but was grateful that they came through for me and my vegan diet. I left sated and happy that I could fully participate in the meal alongside my meat-eating friends. The owner was very thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of choices to order. Although it was a bit pricey, I will definitely go back again. The modern ambiance, the attentive service and the fancy yet rustic food combined to make a lovely evening meal.”

I love the new variety of flavors every week and how they’re so unique and different than the generic cookies you buy in the grocery store. The price isn’t too bad either! The carnitas also were not dry, and was the perfect amount of food! The Barbaca they me for a loop, I’m not used to the “carne guisada” style, of dish. It was flavorful and reminded me of a mole style dish. But I tried it, it wasn’t my favorite but if you are looking for a low key place! This is it!

We particularly enjoyed soft beef tongue in a rich sauce, as well as sautéed vegetables (including sweet potato, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, and red onion, with a hint of sweetness).

They have a good selection of drinks here. Unfortunately, they were out of some of their dessert options, including the Portuguese egg tarts, which the server mentioned happens frequently.”

Their menu is somewhat minimal and limited, so entered with few expectations or hopes that I could order anything more than a salad. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The owner came to our table and was most accommodating. I ordered a succulent nopales salad, street corn and some delicious blue corn sopes de calabasita (zucchini and flower). It was all quite tasty and I was even more surprised when she brought out some vegan mayo AND vegan cheese to top off my food with more flavor. The atmosphere is very modern and simply styled, mirroring their “chic” food menu. I found the food delicious though a bit on the bland side, but was grateful that they came through for me and my vegan diet. I left sated and happy that I could fully participate in the meal alongside my meat-eating friends. The owner was very thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of choices to order. Although it was a bit pricey, I will definitely go back again. The modern ambiance, the attentive service and the fancy yet rustic food combined to make a lovely evening meal.”

“What a freaking gem. This spot gives off serious LA or NYC vibes right in the heart of downtown SJ. The decor alone deserves a shoutout: stunning tall ceilings, gorgeous wood and metal accents, natural tones, and even a couple of olive tree centerpieces that ties it all together in a sleek, contemporary way. The elevator bar is probably one of the most unique features I've ever seen, shuttling bottles of liquor from the downstairs bar to the loft bar. The loft area wasn't open yet, but I could already picture it being the perfect place to pre-game and soak in the energy from the restaurant below.

The food is dialed in. New American with a Mediterranean twist. The open kitchen concept is a nice touch, letting you watch your dishes as they're being prepared. Highly recommend ordering family style to share. The octopus is an absolute must--tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The lobster pasta was decadent - pricey, but you get huge chunks of lobster that makes it worthwhile. We also ordered the monster ribeye topped with some insane butter, cooked medium rare. If you have a group of 4 or more, do it.

The drinks were fantastic, though more subdued in flavor compared to their other concepts like Paper Plane or Mini Boss. I'd recommend dinner at Eos & Nyx, then cap off the night with a cocktail at one of their other bars.

“Good Crispy Chicken Sandwich that you can customize the flavor by adding the powder seasonings they offer like Garlic, Szechuan and more. Sandwich had a sweet bun, mayo and shredded lettuce. Popcorn Chicken was also good. Reasonably priced. Quick service.”
