“The best cookies I’ve had in a while. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but these are so so good! I love the new variety of flavors every week and how they’re so unique and different than the generic cookies you buy in the grocery store. The price isn’t too bad either! For a box of 6 cookies it’s $22 but the cookies are HUGE. I can never finish one by myself so I leave them to the rest of my family. Also pro tip download the crumble app so you can earn free rewards. 100 points equals to $10 you can use towards the cookies.”

I only come here for my Grilled Pork with rice noodle and fresh herbs. Their special Fish Sauce is what makes this dish so good. Together with the grilled pork aroma, the sauce brings out a deep and sweet harmony in every bite.

“Nestled in the heart of San Jose, I can truly say I have found my favorite restaurant. For any newcomers to the city or locals looking for a new go-to bar, Goodtime Bar is the spot. It goes without notice the effort this restaurant makes to create a sense of community: DJ nights, guest chefs, wine club, run club – all specially designed to bring people together. I never write reviews, but this jewel deserves all the accolades. Beyond the electric atmosphere, the vast natural wine selections paired with novel cuisine make every visit an experience that elevates my palate. The carefully crafted dishes show the detail chef Alex gives to every order. Diverse ingredients embrace a fusion of cultures, with familiar dishes like Caesar salad (Endive Caesar @ Goodtime), pasta (Bucatini @ Goodtime), and shrimp tacos (Tacos Dorados @ Goodtime) delivering a magical explosion of flavors. I tend to find myself methodically portioning out my meal - not wanting to reach that one last bite from my plate. Ordered the Mapo Tofu Rice Set, with side dishes, Pan-fried Plant Based Chop Set, Avocado Rolls, I got the Happiness Over Rice - it was sweet and totally devoured it! I also ordered the Avocado smoothie, one of my favorites sometimes other places make it too watery. This one was fluffy and very tasty! For dessert we shared the Chocolate Tiramisú. “TBH I was hesitant at first to eat at Acopia. As a vegan, most Mexican restaurants do not usually have options for me. Their menu is somewhat minimal and limited, so entered with few expectations or hopes that I could order anything more than a salad. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The owner came to our table and was most accommodating. I ordered a succulent nopales salad, street corn and some delicious blue corn sopes de calabasita (zucchini and flower). It was all quite tasty and I was even more surprised when she brought out some vegan mayo AND vegan cheese to top off my food with more flavor. The atmosphere is very modern and simply styled, mirroring their “chic” food menu. I found the food delicious though a bit on the bland side, but was grateful that they came through for me and my vegan diet. I left sated and happy that I could fully participate in the meal alongside my meat-eating friends. The owner was very thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of choices to order. Although it was a bit pricey, I will definitely go back again. The modern ambiance, the attentive service and the fancy yet rustic food combined to make a lovely evening meal.”

“The best thing about this place is that they’re open 24 hours! I would definitely recommend it, especially when everything else is closed. The pricing is reasonable, and the service was excellent. Pamela helped our table and was great from the start. She was very patient with us and offered helpful recommendations. She checked on us frequently and went the extra mile to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. She truly deserves a raise for providing such exceptional service.

The food was delicious and came out fairly quickly. The parking lot, however, is a bit tricky. The entrance is narrow and easy to miss, and you may end up passing it and seeing an exit that you unfortunately cannot enter.

One concern I noticed was that the ice cream tub and whipped cream were completely exposed. Customers walk by with easy access, and there were no lids or coverings. This is extremely unhygienic, as someone could cough, sneeze, or touch it, not to mention flies, which do not appear to be prevented from making direct contact.

The ambiance is okay, nothing particularly special, but they did a great job decorating for Christmas.

Good taste on all items. I personally liked the zinger sandwich but unfortunately it was not available at this location.
The sad thing was it’s only online order pickup restaurant (this location). I was trying to make a pickup order online but past 01:30 AM the orders cannot be made. It take to the next day pickup times.
Luckily a person working there offered me complimentary food which made my day as I was a lot hungry (after coming back from a long road trip including swimming and traveling). This was the only halal place I found open late.”

“The fact that this location is open 24 hours is a massive plus when you need food in the middle of the night. The burgers are always thick and filling, which is exactly what you want. However, late-night service can be a bit careless—they completely forgot to hand over the sauces I asked for, and the dining room was pretty messy. It's an okay option if you have no other choice late at night.”

It was a pleasant surprise that they recognized us months after our first visit and even remembered my girlfriend's preferred wine! We also love their flexible flight concept, which allows you to sample any of the wines available for a single set price.

Craving for it all weekend so came back on Monday and had to wait a while bc they ran out of bread and had to go out to get more. Then found out afterwards that they substituted my xu mai for a piece of spam!! Oh well. Still yummy. Gave them one less star for the inconsistency. You order at the counter and they give you buzzer to come back in 10-15 mins to pick up. Not much of a customer service, 1 lady and 1 man working, since they are so busy cooking it fresh to order hot and sizzling for the cold food court, lol. “Reached House of Bagels around 10 AM on a weekend, and there was already a huge line outside the door—which definitely raised my expectations. Even though the line was long, it moved at a surprisingly good pace, and we were able to place our order in about 20 minutes.

We ordered:

* Two sausage, egg & cheese jalapeño bagel sandwiches
* One with tomato basil cream cheese
* One with jalapeño cream cheese
* A Double Dutch Mocha
* And a chai tea

The service was impressively fast because we got our entire order in less than 5 minutes.

They have a few outdoor tables, but since it was drizzling, we decided to take the food home instead.

The bagels themselves were soft, fresh, and nicely made. I personally wished the jalapeño bagel had a bit more jalapeño flavor compared to similar bagels I’ve had elsewhere, but overall the sandwich was very satisfying. The sausage, egg, and bagel ratio was spot on, making every bite balanced and filling.

The tomato basil cream cheese was absolutely delicious and added great flavor to the sandwich. The jalapeño cream cheese, however, was a bit disappointing and lacked the kick I expected.

Special mention for the Double Dutch Mocha—easily a 100/10. Rich, smooth, and honestly one of the best drinks from the meal. On the other hand, the chai tea was disappointing and tasted more like warm milk with a little cinnamon rather than actual chai.

Overall, it was still a really good experience, and I’d definitely go back to try more items from their menu.”

“I ordered a 4 tier cake for my wedding. I asked if they would be able to do the old vintage cake designs. I was told yes. I sent several detailed emails and pictures of what I wanted. The cake was NOTHING close in design, outside of 4 levels, nothing else looked like the pictures. Only one of the colors, only a couple flowers. Then, 1 hour into the reception the cake fell over. I never even got to cut my 4 tiered cake! When I brought it up after, she blamed the heat. There was air conditioning in the venue! She offered to redo it for pictures. I agreed then never heard from her. I contacted her multiple times and I just today get an email from her saying she can't do that after all. I lost money, had a mediocre cake that looked nothing like the inspo picture I sent, and had my cake fall over and barely salvaged enough for the guests. This is a horrible business who doesn't care about making a cake for something as important as a wedding. My dream cake was ruined. I should've gone with someone else. What a horrible bakery. Liars and unprofessional. If you don't know how to do vintage designs don't sat you do! And do not offer a remake if you don't mean it! If you're looking for a multi tiered wedding cake, do not use them!”

“After a long wait for this place, I finally decided to try it out. Parking was a bit of a challenge since it’s right in the heart of downtown San Jose.

The cozy atmosphere and quick, friendly service made up for the parking hassle. I couldn’t resist trying their best sellers, so I ordered the fruit sandos and the chicken sandos.
