“The four of us went here tonight for dinner. We were 25 minutes late but they seated us anyway. The parking lot looked pretty full but we managed to grab a spot. They had all our favorite Hot pot. Ingredients: shrimp paste, veggies, assorted tofu, a ginormous lamb and beef platter ring, etc. we really like the house special bone broth, but the spicy special House broth was pretty spicy.Service was really fast and efficient.Vibe was pretty young with club music playing in the background. We got a basket of deep fried pork which was apparently recommended but I was so full. I could hardly eat more than a few pieces.Overall great price would come here again.p”
“Getting Cochinita Pabil to split for two. Pork was super tender and the pickeled red onions. The Queso with homemade corn tortillas. Our server, Able was on top of it! He spoke to the bartender to ask about making a Oaxacan Old Fashioned (not on menu). The Lunarittas are great!”
“Island Grille offers a genuine taste of Jamaica right here in San Jose. Their flavors are a true culinary delight, reminiscent of my Miami days. A must-visit for any food lover seeking an authentic experience. Will definitely be back!”
“Whoa! Super good and lots of food. I had The Greek breakfast burrito, my dad had some kind of chili breakfast and my sister had a regular sort of breakfast and we were all very happy.”
“Absolutely fantastic. Service was fast and wonderful. Such a FUN atmosphere! The food was incredible, especially the delicious, soft, pulpo. Everything had so much flavor. The menu is mind blowing in the best way.”

“What a cute little spot in downtown! Stopped here for a girls night catch up and they had the perfect little room with a couch and fire for an intimate vibe. The ambiance is so perfect and cozy for a more relaxed night out. The bartenders were so nice and helpful when ordering. The food was pretty straight to the point but yummy so I can't complain. The viognier was crisp but I definitely enjoyed the Bella Montagna Sav Blanc more. I would definitely come back here for a date night!”
“Marcela was great! So kind and hospitable! She gave us great drink recs, checked in on us, asked if we had any special request. Food was amazing and servers were very attentive!”
“Good. Definitely be going back. Por Pia Sod & Khiew Cheese Tod, Tom Yum Soup w/ prawns, Pad Thai, Som Tum Salad and Gaeng Pa Curry. 6 items tried, 6 items enjoyed, not just by me, but rather a whole family. Small storefront, but adequate parking as it is in a Safeway parking lot.”

“I ordered the Mango Coconut Thai tea with boba. It was the most wonderful drink that I'd tasted. Not very crowded. Enough parking space. I will definitely go again.”
“Thank you Urban Plates for nourishing our cast & crew on set for our NYU Student Film! Delicious food made from scratch with great vegetarian options! Urban Plates is a must visit!”
“tiger tea is one of the few tea places i love going to! i don't have a sweet tooth and their drinks aren't too sweet which i really like! the workers are always so attentive and welcoming in the shop and there's always a nice environment. i really like their strawberry green tea and their matcha. i highly recommend this little shop!! :)”
“Spacious and clean restaurant that's tucked away. Went for happy hour. It wasn't that crowded on a weekday. Food was good and plenty. I'd come again to try other dishes!”
“Amazing Indian/Nepalese cuisine. The veg momos and pakoras were very flavorful. The California spicy noodles was very hot…so you may want to let them know your spice levels. Highly recommended!”

“This is a review of my first (but not last!) visit out to Charlie's. After seeing the great reviews on Yelp, we decided to take a trip out to visit. Immediately we were greeted warmly by Charlie who asked if we'd visited before and that we hadn't, how we found him. He then mentioned his belief that you can't buy something without trying it first and let us each try one each! We ended up buying a 12 pack of the minis and asked if it was possible to swap out one of the flavors for another. Charlie didn't hesitate and simply added one of the ones we wanted to swap in! Before we left, Charlie kindly told us how to best store and serve them. As we left, we both agreed that we'd be back for both the tasty cheesecake bites as well as to se Charlie again!”
“Absolutely fantastic chicken and exceptional service! I highly recommend this to anyone in the South Bay with a craving for a hot chicken sandwich, especially if you're looking for deliciousness close to home.-matt”
“This was my first time having Pho, and I feel like I lucked out in how amazing it was.I also LOVED the Pork Fried Wontons and the Shaken Beef. The waiter was also incredible and super kind and attentive. I love the restaurant was cute also.”
“Island Grille offers a genuine taste of Jamaica right here in San Jose. Their flavors are a true culinary delight, reminiscent of my Miami days. A must-visit for any food lover seeking an authentic experience. Will definitely be back!”
“Jeremy is an exceptional waiter, providing attentive service with a friendly demeanor. He knows the menu inside and out, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring a flawless dining experience. With Jeremy, you're in good hands for a memorable meal.”
“Extremely solid crowd pleaser type pizza. People ask where you got it from and want a paper menu type pizza. The crust is top tier, as I never eat pizza crust but this time did. Price is really good, at $28 range for specialties. Would recommend to eat it at the restaurant, as delivery did lag.”
“Food was excellent! From side dishes to sauces, everything tasted fresh and thought out. My only wish is that this place was bigger. We ate family style where we shared all ordered items and there was very little space on the table to accomodate 4 entrés.”
“Probably the best vegetarian street food we had in the Bay Area! We appreciated the honesty of the lady at the counter in recommending the Vada Pav over the Dabeli and was she right! The Vada Pav was excellent! So very fresh and soft! All the flavors were just right. Pity we got to eat here only once.”

“THE BEST Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to!!! The food is sooooooo delicious! The staff are all very friendly. And the environment is awesome too! Can’t recommend it enough.”
“Such a unique experience. Highly recommended for curious minds. Arrive early to tour all the music machines. Ask questions, the staff are a wealth of information and experts on these wonderful machines. As many of the tables sit and order at similar times there can be a bit of a wait as they work through it. Take advantage of this time to look around and watch how the machines work! The food is worth the wait and the fountain drinks are a delightful trip back in time!”

“Came here for a late night sweet tooth craving. When you enter Vietnam Town, it is towards the right side that is closer to Grand Century. Marco Polo offers a variety of Asian flavored gelatos like Black Sesame and Thai. Love the rich consistency.”
“Had the Rosie's margarita (moktail) and WOW was it good! Rich deep flavor and very refreshing! Cool vibe here too. Everyone else had a alcoholic drink and loved them.”
“Nirvana Soul Coffee is a pretty nice little spot to grab a bite and coffee (even later in the evening). They have a solid amount of inside space to sit while you enjoy your food or drinks. They even have a top floor loft area with a skylight.Their lattes have a strong flavor and sweetness, which is just how I like it, but if you don’t like sweet drinks, you may not want to go for their fancy signature drinks. The only downside is that street parking in the area can be a real pain.”

“Food was 10/10! I was craving Vietnamese food and came across this place on Yelp! It's located inside a food court where the Lion Plaza is. It's cash only and the price is $20! They only have one thing on the menu and it's a Bò Né aka Shaken Beef Sizzling Plate! I thought everything was so good! The bread was so soft, warm, and fresh. The salad was beautifully dressed in a sweet vinegar sauce. The pate created a nice salty taste to add onto the bread and eggs. The beef was so tender and was paired nicely with a sweet sauce. The onions create, not only a nice crunch to the dish, but also enhances the flavor to the whole thing! I really liked the chili oil as well! I think this whole meal was very well worth the price and it's very filling too! The meal also comes with hot tea! I didn't really get to experience the service, but it was quick and simple! You just order and pick up when it's ready. The place is also open seating so you can sit anywhere. Overall, I would love to eat here again!”
“I was driving by and saw this ramen shop. Went in and was greeted, humble, and with humor. Service was awesome!!Ordered spicy miso and takoyaki, both taste delicious. Would highly recommend it! Coming back when im in the area.”

“Easy to park in their parking lot, grab a number by the front, check out Italian foods as you make your way to the back to place your order. Efficient and friendly staff! Convenient outdoor patio between the parking lot and entrance to eat the fresh pasta right away. Ravioli was so fresh and pillowy!”
“Great food! Friendly staff with a nice, clean restroom for customers. A bit on the pricey side but it’s a unique experience in a great location that was definitely worth it.”
“My favorite empanadas! I normally get the chicken empanadas with the green aji sauce. I have been coming here for almost a decade and I still love this place. The green aji sauce is very fresh and flavorful. The empanada crust is buttery and flaky while the meat filling is seasoned well. Pricing is great for a locally owned business.”
“The food at Mercy Mediterranean is amazing! While browsing the website of the recently opened downtown food hall, we stumbled upon this gem and promptly placed our order. We ordered the Chicken Garlic Gyro and Lamb Gyro. Our favorite dish was the Chicken Garlic Gyro. Our order was packed with flavorful chicken, fresh veggies, and creamy tzatziki sauce. This is definitely a satisfying meal for gyro lovers. The service was amazing and the employees are helpful and catering towards their guests.”

“I overall love this place. The waiter was very friendly and the service was great. The place is clean and decent. I gave 4 stars for food mainly because I wasn't too happy with my dish, I ordered a Trio Ceviche, and even though it's fresh and tasty, I expected it to be a bit more sour and slightly less salty. It's just my personal taste, I guess. But my friends were very happy with their orders, so I would recommend this place.”

“I'll start by saying that we had an enjoyable dinner overall. The Prawns Meuniere alone are almost worth the price of admission. They were perfectly prepared and scrumptious. The rack of lamb and veal cutlet were fine, but not quite up to the level of the prawns. But the corn soup was only so-so and the creme brulee was below par and we didn't even finish it. Service was friendly and prompt and the setting was nice.”
“I went here solely based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. I’m upset I didn’t take a picture of the food. It was really good gulped down the second it arrived. Such sweet people working here and you get quantity.”
“LeYou Ethiopian offers a culinary journey through rich and aromatic flavors. Each dish is a celebration of Ethiopian cuisine, prepared with care and authenticity. The cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality create a welcoming dining experience.”
“Came here with a 4 other coworkers for lunch. This is my to go place, a vegan-only restaurant close to my work and probably the only one close by to San Jose airport area. So I suggested this place to my coworkers.Charlene greeted us and provided us with the menu and also gave us suggestions about what is very popular. She was an excellent host! Thanks for snapping our group picture as well! This place is small but very cozy. There is probably enough seating for maybe 15 or so people indoors and several more outdoors.Food is very delicious.I love that there are so many options here from Italian cuisine (pasta, etc), to American (burgers, fries), boba, ice cream and so much more.I always enjoy supporting such excellent vegan only, cruelty free businesses and would definitely recommend this one to others in this area.Vegetarian options: It’s vegan only so think of it as vegetarian but without dairy and honey and all that jazz.Dietary restrictions: Vegan only restaurant. They also have no onion and non garlic items marked on the menu.Ask the owner about any other allergies or restrictions like gluten or nuts.Parking: This is in a shopping complex so parking is very easy to find.Kid-friendliness: They have kid friendly menu options: like waffles, ice cream and the like.”
“The ambiance was beautiful, the lighting was inviting, and every waiter had immaculate customer service. The cuisine was top tier with all the right seasonings and herbs. The compliments of the chef was the cherry on top.”
“By far the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Bay Area! First time trying molcajete, the portion was huge enough to feed two starving people. The ingredients were super fresh. The staff were nice too! Definitely will come back to try their margaritas and fajitas next time”
“On the outside it looks small when you see it in your inside it's pretty roomy, The food is delicious. I recommend the Southwest omelet with chorizo. The Belgian waffles are absolutely amazing. Fluffy and light.Parking: Parking lot behind building,”
“We booked a cooking class through Classpop and had such a great time learning to cook! The place had a parking lot so parking wasn’t a problem. We loved that after the cooking class, we were giving enough time to enjoy our food and even had leftovers to bring home. 10/10 recommend! Thanks for making my partner’s birthday so memorable!”
“My recent visit to Maggiano’s for my daughter’s birthday was excellent. The atmosphere was inviting, the service attentive, and the food delicious. Highly recommended! Thank you Ashley & staff for making us feel welcome!”
“Fabulous dining experience. Service was lovely, food was great excellent and interesting. We had the shrimp appetizer, grilled cauliflower, beet salad and we both had the Dungeness crab pasta. Very happy with all of them!”
“Stumbled upon Devine for a late dinner with a friend. Liana took personal care of us and engaged with us at just the right level. The short ribs were super tender and flavorful and my friend said the seafood pasta was seasoned perfectly. The eclectic wine list worked very well with our dinner choices. The Basque cheesecake was the perfect capper. Highly recommend.”
“Super cute vietnamese restaurant in a modern vibe..I dined in the evening, so the lady owner was working super hard to serve her patrons..soups are good, she told us she doesn't put any Msg in her food like most vietnamese restaurants..I had the Beef combination pho that came with a beef bone to chew on on a separate plate which was unique..will recomend !”
“I've been here twice now. The second time was on a Thursday where they have free games. You should come within happy hours on Thursdays and you'll get a really good deal. The drinks are decent and the food is pretty good, surprisingly. I liked their chicken wings. My husband liked the pepperoni flatbread.Service is great too! Definitely recommend as a place to hang out and have a drink.”
“I cannot recommend this place enough. I've been coming here for the past 3 years and I cannot, for the life of me, understand why it has only 3.8 stars. I have tried in crepes - Tuscany and Thai I've tried their sweet crepes - the Jamaican one is delicious. The service is always quick, I've never had a wait longer than 5 mins and I've been here on Mother's Day y'all. The food is fantastic. The waiters are extremely attentive. This place is a must try brunch place because it's got something different to offer compared to usual eggs and pancakes fare we see at most brunch places.”

“My new favorite place to go in San Jose! I live an hour northeast of this place and I will gladly drive down with my family to enjoy great food here. I tried this place for the first time on Tuesday with my friend and then came back with my family and friends on Sunday. We loved it and the server was kind enough to let my family taste their ube waffle for free! Love their food and service! Thank you Duy! It was great chatting with you and learning a little bit on how you started the business. Wish you and your wife much more success. Also, wishing you can open a bigger location and possibly multiple locations in the very near future ?”

“The food was delicious and the service was amazing Chris the manager was working really hard and talking to everyone to make sure everything was perfect with there food and making everyone happy with good conversations he is a great ”
“I was blown away by the great vibe, cool surroundings, and top notch customer service. Very fast and friendly bartender and kitchen manager. Live music on a Thursday! I had a blast with friends sipping wine, eating, and dancing. The pool in the background looks awesome as well. Highly recommend if you are in this area. Hidden gem.”
“Meals are served until late, from breakfast, lunch, dinner to midnight snacks. Recommend the lasagna here, the lasagna is delicious. When you arrive, remember that there is a commemorative medal presented by Jen-Hsun Huang on the left side of the entrance. You can also take a photo with it!”
“I really didn't like this place before. My coffee cup was always dirty, and they took forever, and staff wasn't friendly . Although now it's great staff was extra attentive and friendly seated us quickly and drinks right away. Also, we got our food quickly ? ?”
“It was a good experience overall love the and customer service and it was a nice atmosphere ?Wheelchair accessibility: They had a lady in a wheelchair dinning in she looked very happy and smiling through out the time she was there and she was seated at a nice accessible table”
“Late post: My company has used Bay Area Ice Cream Catering for ice cream social events and it's been a hit each time. The ice cream is amazing and the toppings are perfect. Employees are like kids in a candy store - they are our go-to each time!”
“New drive thru was top of my hoped for renovation. Perfect! Burger were famous stars with crisscut or waffle fries and fried zucchini. Will go back much more often now with the 24 hr drive thru!”
“The staff was great, they acknowledged and attended us quickly. I ordered the T-bone steak and eggs and they were cooked they way i requested also ordered the grand slam which was also great (luv their pancakes, hot and fluffy).”
“What can I say? Love Dennys and proud of how this space got redecorated. Such a part of me growing up and now the next generation can enjoy as well! The $7.99 special is a steal with pancakes, bacon, eggs and toast. Can’t beat it!”
“Last visit we found that the buns were different and totally made for a big mess, the buns just disintegrated to the point it was knives and forks time. Flavor was as usual, ok. $30 for a Superstar and Chicken Club sandwich, onion rings and zucchini rounds. Considering I can get a sit down meal with better food.”
“Had it again, and a little better this time. 5 stars. First time was a lil sloppy, aswell as i was a little sloppy tbh. Honest review, from a sober patron; nice burger”
“Slow drive thru and over half of the dAmned time they never have got my order right.so they have a Spanish up bringing iam starting to learn now Armenian what next dinga Ling ring ding ring a Ling ding wong ho wong ho lmdao come as you like come as you are too Jack N The Bo ha and no thank you I'm allergic too you I breake out in hank cuff'S Dat way see.,!!!$$$%100= travi'Sia”
“Their menu offers a variety of tasty options, and the drive-thru service is always quick and convenient. Plus, their prices are reasonable, making it a great choice for a quick and tasty meal”
“I had breakfast here the entire week and had either French toast or the omelette. Never had a bad order, except for one time. I ordered omelet with no tomato and the chef added tomato”
“Landed @ SJC on Southwest at Gate 36 , we were walking towards terminal, the Yo-Kai Express sign for ramen and rice bowls caught my eyes, I was expecting counter service but noticed the vending machine. My son and I thought it was so cool, I've seen social media post on these machines in Japan. Therefore, I was super excited to get to give it a try. I assumed this machine is new here at SJC, I recall another customer mentioned it's new, she wanted to give it a try but didn't have enough time before her flight. "Disclaimer", Before ordering you will have to consent to the product that is served hot and the soup content may scald, to avoid serious harm you are aware of using this product. From experience the bowl of noodles really comes out HOT, so please be careful. There are alot of noodle soup choices to choose from, even rice bowls. Taiwan beef noodle soup, Tantanmen, Black garlic tonkatsu ramen with soft boil egg, vegan udon, Tokyu shoyu ramen, spicy kimchi pork ramen, & Vietnamese beef pho. Some items were sold out. The prices for ramen varies and will tell you once you click on the item. We ended up trying the spicy kimchi pork bowl which is $13.99, total with tax $15.30, paid via credit card, my son and I was surprised at how this machine's ability to make our ramen. It was making a cool sound, while the machine was preparing our bowls. The only junk part about enjoying this bowl, it is hard to eat sitting down, w/no tables. We were lucky we saw an empty counter which we got to set the bowl down for photos. ( it is covered with plastic and lid) I love the little utensil kit with mini chop sticks, fork, spoon, and napkin, comes in a box. Overall, the bowl came out as pictured, kim chi, half cooked egg, pork belly, it tasted pretty good, a little on the salty side. I loved that it was piping hot, compared to some ramen shop the ramen comes out lukewarm and the broth is hot coming out of a vending machine. Wow! I can't wait to check out this machine again when we fly out of SJC during our future trips. I want to see how the rice bowl is and try the other ramen flavors. Yo-Kai Express is between Gate 33-34, kind of out of the way if you are not boarding near this gate, but worth the experience to give it a try. I am glad we got to check out this vending machine for the very first time, Technology is super cool!!”

“We went on Valentine's Day, not the perfect day because there a lot of couples ahead of us but we're able to secure a table, so that's a good thing. The atmosphere and food was absolutely a steal compare so other fancy sushi place. I loved the Philadelphia Roll and the wife liked the avocado roll. Sushi Roll was to go for quality with a budget in mind.”
“This place is amazing; steak bagel & raw bowl are my favorite, plus the staff here are nice & work hard which makes it worth coming here. Thank & appreciate you, y'all make it with coming here!”
“Excellent food. My wife and I have practically stopped eating at other Indian/Nepali restaurants. And Pawan (the manager) is the best - always takes the time to chat with customers, great sense of humor”

“Pleasantly surprised. Many options to choose from when your creating your bowl and healthy options also. Think of it as upscale version of Pole bowl. Will definitely be back and try different combos.”
“I was looking for mini cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and found Lil Bites Bakery. Lindley was very helpful and thorough with all my questions. His responses to my email did not go through to my email initially, but he made sure that I received the answers, so he emailed me from his personal email, which is customer service right there. The day of delivery (during a storm), he came early just to make sure we would get them on time. The mini cupcakes and fruit tarts were so cute and delicious! I appreciated the little details as well, such as a birthday card for my daughter. Highly recommend!”
“Craving satisfied! Finally found a place that does Donne Biryani right. Loved the Jackfruit version - flavorful and filling. Must-try alongside their Guntur Chicken - delicious and perfectly spiced. (Went on a Tuesday!)”
“Delicious Vietnamese sandwich, so delicious. I like the one with cold cuts of meat and plenty of vegetables. It used to be available for only $7, but now the price has gone up. I will definitely buy it whenever I pass by here, but I have to wait patiently for the long queue for food.”
“An absolute delight!!! Not only is the soft serve deliciously tasty, but the fact that it comes in a taiyaki (fish shaped cake) makes it absolutely perfect and amazing ?I tried the ube and strawberry swirl ahboong with the custard filling, it was amazing!”
“So glad I got to stop by with my parents today. My mom loves to eat red bean mochi/ manju ever since I was a kid. She was excited to get them. They were very fresh, not too sweet, the mochi was nice and chewy. They are close Monday through Wednesday. Will definitely be going back!”
“Stopped by Sunday afternoon to check this place out and took advantage of their buy 5 get 1 free deal because I like to get two drinks for myself! Great ambiance, decor, and music. Love the mirror in front of the flower wall to make sure you look on point! The drinks we ordered were the strawberry matcha latte, butterfly lemonade, Thai milk tea, peach green tea and a basic jasmine tea. Jasmine was very simple with no sweetener. I like that. The milk used in most of their drinks are lactose free friendly, so you know what won't happen The peach green tea was sweet but still good. If you like a tarty lemonade, the butterfly lemonade is perfect for you. My bf and his son loves it. The strawberry matcha was delicious the matcha was not overpowering and had the perfect amount of strawberry flavor in it. The Thai milk tea was sweet but not too sweet. My stepson enjoyed his sweet brown sugar matcha. Soooo we popped in for six more drinks yesterday night. Only this time I changed ordered haidee's perfect matcha instead of the Thai milk tea. I wanted to try something different. Service was great and staff was friendly! Only con is the sweetness and ice level options.”
“Hands down the best cake in San Jose. I highly recommend getting one for birthday parties. You won't be disappointed and your guest, they'll be wanting seconds.”
“Took my teenaged son and we had the messy burger. Although they had ALL the stuff to put on a burger you could think of in a salad bar type setting so you could add what and how much of what you wanted to your burger we added nothing and it was the best tasting burger in the bay area. I live in milpitas and it is worth the drive for their burgers!! Definitely recommend this as a must do for any foodie out there !!”
“So glad to have discovered this place. There’s a wide range of hand pour options available. Tried the yellow fruit and the notes is obviously on the acidic side which is perfect with its rich, distinct floral aroma. They also sell a variety of roasted beans. Comfortable seating by the window inside. Definitely coming back for more tasting!”
“Don't be fooled by the lack of luster this restaurant has, because the food and service here 5/5. Immediately when we entered we were greeted and directed on how to order. We decided to go with the small clam chowder and three piece fish chips. We assumed the fried fish would be regular sizes. Nope, they were three big hefty thick meaty fillets, stunned! Had I known the size we would have stuck with two pieces. Overall did not regret the decision since we enjoyed the leftovers. Also their tartar sauce is ridiculously good, I dipped my fries in them as well. But the star from my experience is the service of the staff and crew. I genuinely felt so welcomed here, not rushed at all, very accommodating, your employees were friendly to me and every person they interacted with. A fine dining experience serving delicious, hot, crispy fish & chips.”
“We had the chocolate mousse cake and I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but I loved it. Everybody in my family loved the cake. This is our new favorite bakery.”
“Honestly, there’s many places in San Jose you can get great coffee, but here’s why I always come to the San Pedro Voyager1) the customer service. I actually got caught off guard when the barista asked how my day was going because I’m so accustomed to the robotic baristas at Philz that just at scowl at you when you come up to the register. It really feels like the baristas here genuinely want to make you feel at home.2) Lots of seating which is usually rare at popular coffee shops. Being in SP Square means you can easily grab some good food if you need a lunch break and don’t want to move your car.3) Free cup of coffee with unlimited refills if you buy a bag of whole beans.4) Free 90 minutes of parking without the need of validation.Only downside of this place is that it can sometimes feel like a McDonald’s play land with how many parents let their kids run around screaming. And on weekdays, lot of people taking zoom calls and having meetings, so I’d recommend a good pair of noise cancelling headphones”
“Great people, great musicians, first time hearing the jam session but this place always has the best beer in town..I don't miss TIRED HOUSE at all???✌️??”

Siena Bistro
“The address is not the front of the restaurant on Lincoln. You need to park in the back, that is where the restaurant is located! This place is INSANELY good. Highly recommend the sole almondine. I’ve never been into fish and my family was fighting over this dish. Apparently it’s their best seller. Rightfully so!The angry pasta, seafood with mixed sauce, and paella were so delicious. The owner, David, is so friendly and is the genius behind the menu.”

Le Papillon
“The ambiance was beautiful, the lighting was inviting, and every waiter had immaculate customer service. The cuisine was top tier with all the right seasonings and herbs. The compliments of the chef was the cherry on top.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“This place is straight out of a book and or movie, really cool setting! The drinks go hand in hand, everything from the food to the cocktails are all curated so perfectly and the service is top notch and very helpful when it comes to deciphering which cocktail(s) you may like most.”
“I'm not one to write about fast food but I gotta say that the cashier was very pleasant and polite. Restaurant was very clean. Service was as quick as it could be with those ever present drive thru lines!”
“One of our favorites for Mexican food. The food is delicious and fresh! I gave it a 4 star only because they are slow when it comes to bringing chips and salsa and drinks..Parking: The parking lot is big.”
“I know… it’s only a chain burger joint BUT you can’t get them “back east” so I always try to stop when I’m in Ca! They never disappoint. Fresh made burger with grilled onions. I get a strawberry shake to boot!”
“Love their pizza and food. They even did a side of sautéed spinach for me. Their roasted garlic made it extra special. Wished it was a regular item on the menu.Parking: Disabled, pick up, and regular parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.”
“Having read all the raving reviews, my expectations from this place were very high. We got the Bonda soup and the pani puri. The panipuri tasted good, not exceptional, but alright. What was disappointing was the quantity of filling offered. It wasn’t enough for all the puris. Maybe if we had more filling to spare for each puri, the taste would have been elevated. We were trying bonda soup for the first time, so we don’t know what to compare it to. But we weren’t impressed. The Bonda ‘batter’ separated from the fried crust on putting it in the soup. So we were eating the ‘batter’ with soup and the crust with soup, separately. Not a great experience. This was the place I was most looking forward to on our trip to San Jose and sadly, I am disappointed by it.”
“This is my family's third time here. We are always welcomed warmly and Tyler has always greeted my kids with enthusiasm and a smile. We are definitely new regulars here for laundry day. We love the food, the service and price, they make us feel like family. God bless this ”
“Excellent food, fantastic selection of wines and craft beers, and a friendly, welcoming environment. This is my go-to bar to meet with friends. I highly recommend it!”
“This is my favorite burrito place hands down! I make it a point to tell all my friends and family about this place! I'm a person that never writes a review unless the business is absolutely phenomenal and go above and beyond! This is one of those places. The staff is excellent!! It's a convenient location off of 280 or 87 freeway and has a drive thru if you are in a hurry. I am absolutely in love with the asada and red chicken but no matter what you get burritos tacos are plates, this food is the best!!”
“5 years ago I posted that I love this location. Still 5 years later my love is still there. We moved out of the area but every trip back there we go there for coffee and my the staff are still really top quality and make the coffee experience that much better. Highly recommend this location.”
“Visited this restaurant 30mins before closing. Pretty good service and food. The order came in within 10 mins. The person who took our order(Lila) seems to be new and learning, but was super sweet and gave us complimentary chai too :)”
“Many people come here to eat~As far as I'm concerned, it tastes similar to McDonald's burgers in Taiwan~However, the fries are a bit hard~ I still prefer the fries from McDonald’s in Taiwan! When ordering food, you can order meal No. 1 for the first time:Double DoubleBoth burgers and fries must be Animal style! (The fries will be topped with cheese sauce)In addition, if you come here to eat inside, you can add your own sauces and food!PS: If you like my comments, you can follow them~I will take photos of the appearance and color of the food I saw on site and present it to everyone. I will go to various places to discover delicious food and unique places! !I wish everyone’s wishes come true! ”
“Service was excellent. I got tacos de Al pastor and they were delicious. The salsas are also good, red one if you want some real heat. Sat under a nice shaded tent even though it was very hot and sunny it made it pleasant. Right next to JC Penny and the bus stop. Was hard to find at first for us. When you turn into Eastridge go right. Delicious!”
“I’m a regular for their breakfast burrito in the morning ? place is always clean, staff is friendly and we share laughs, bathrooms key available upfront (no need to ask for it), and the horchata is so good ?”
“This BK takes a bit longer, and there is no drive thru, but less food is made ahead of time. This location usually makes everything to order. It makes for better food.”
“I really liked my hot plate beef bolgogi. It was flavorful and adding their hot sauce tied it all together. Unlimited bonchon so don't be afraid to ask for more. Limited seating so I recommend going right when they open so you get in right away. My friend got the hot stone bibimbop and said it was a bit plain for her. I would come back to try the tofu soup it seems like a popular option.”
“One of the.. sorry, the (ONLY) best place for pizza, at least in the bay! The perfect crispness and spice of their spicy vegetarian has been my favorite for over 5 years. They are very consistent with the crispness and taste over all these years. Their quality didn't drop even through the pandemic, when they were operating as take out only. However, off late their weekend crowd is unbelievable! So much so that they don't pick calls to take orders on these days! And recently, the pizza missed the mark as it was taken out a bit sooner with still raw-ish peppers and under done crust. But, I will still keep the 5 stars given how they have maintained quality all these years and given how amazing their pizzas are!”

Shabu Time
“Always a phenomenal time here. Constant quality of food and service. The only knock is it's a little smaller and not easy to accommodate larger parties. But the staff here is always amazing and as accommodating as much as possible. My favorite Shabu restaurant in the South Bay.”
Fine Dining
“We had a wonderful experience at LB Steak the other night, the atmosphere was great, not too stuffy and perfect for a DateNight! They have a pretty extensive wine list, and from what I could see, the Bar looked pretty well stocked too. We ordered a couple glasses of the Benton Lane Pinot Noir, which was delicious and then decided to order a whole bottle. My husband had the Boneless Ribeye and I had the petite Filet Mignon, both meats were juicy and tender, cooked to perfection. It definitely satisfied our “steak jones” we ordered the Mac and Cheese to share, which is served “Family style.” Let me tell you, I would go back just for another helping of the Mac and Cheese, it was so yummy, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the cheese blend was amazing! We loved everything about the Mac and Cheese! We ended our night with dessert, I had the fruit Crème Brûlée and my husband had the Chocolate Molten Cake and both were outstanding! Perfect yummy ending to a perfect evening!”
“Excelente lugar para divertirnos chicos Ora feliz, chicas bellas Billar, dias de show ,dj y grupo.los fines de semana Y recuerda botana gratis todos los dias los espero para divertirnos yeeeaaaaaa!!!!”
“Fun Viet bar (aka quan nhau) to hang with friends and have a few beers or liquor bottle service. You may sign up to sing songs in multiple languages at your table. However, there is no microphone stand nor a stage or private karaoke room to rent so it's not exactly a karaoke bar. Service is good and attentive but does get busy at times. The crowd leans toward not young, not dive barflies, and below professionals who flash money. A good mix. Gets very loud! Note the receipt says "SH House" but the outside sign remained Song Huong.”
“My favorite place to get Pho in the area :) Very cute and cozy family-owned business. The owners' young daughters work there and seem to be very well-mannered and professional. Won't be visiting any other place for Pho by my house since I found Bon Mua Restaurant!”
“Super friendly, always greet people with a smile at the door. Ready to help. Delicious, fabulous ham. The service is great. I am disabled and they always help carry the ham to my car. Worth the price.Parking: It can get busy during peak shopping hours.Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible to wheelchair and the employees always help people with disabilities. Very kind.”

Burma Choice
“We have been to Burma Choice several times and enjoyed the experience. There are not many Burmese restaurants in the area. So, the vibe, the decorations, and the flavors of the dishes feel different. On our most recent visit, Black Pepper Lamb was cooked just right, tender and juicy. Burma Choice Noodle (vegetarian) was flavorful. The only downside was that all the dishes were salty. And that is the reason why we don't visit this place very often. The staff were friendly but not striving for better service. Despite listing carrots, the Black Pepper Lamb came without them. When my husband asked about this, the response was a shrug and 'I don't know what the chef did.'There are many unique meat and vegetarian dishes. Be sure to order rice separately because it doesn't come with the dishes.”
“My recent visit to Maggiano’s for my daughter’s birthday was excellent. The atmosphere was inviting, the service attentive, and the food delicious. Highly recommended! Thank you Ashley & staff for making us feel welcome!”
“We ordered king crab, snow crab, shrimp, and crawfish. The crab is good, while the shrimp seems not very fresh. Fresh shrimp in my mind is a little crisp but that one was not.”
Cheap Eats
“Wonderful bar with an awesome community feel to it. The vibes are always schway, and the drinks are really good. Love to bring friends here, hang out, and play games. Also, the Thursday fighting game tourneys and Tuesday trivia nights are so fun.”
“Clover has been the spot for a long time since my high school days. It seems like it went crazy on tiktok and the lines became bigger. During the times I’ve gone recently, it’s been totally fine. The onigiri is actually the best I’ve ever had ? and they continue to add vegetarian options. ?”
“My best place for cocido and chicken enchiladas, I really love this place, and the service is great,Today Jan 20th, 2024Tries is still the best place to enjoy great food great personal, and the cooks are awesome, still 5 stars.”
“This restaurant has a wide variety of authentic Mexican food. It has an indoor dining room, but it is low-end. The bathroom room is outdoors on the side of the building. The establishment is friendly. You go here for the food. They are one lare.”
“I heard from a buddy it was the best doughnut shop in the area (he's a bit of a connoisseur) and I totally agree. It's our go-to now when we want doughnuts.Parking: 10ish spots. It's popular and some cars were double parked. I don't know if you can park at nearby locations. I said difficult, but it hasn't been too hard if you time it right.”
“Went for the live music. It was Saint Patrick's Day and they were serving corned beef and cabbage in addition to their regular menu. The place was packed and I think the live music was a surprise to most of the patrons. The duet playing their own renditions of mostly Rock classics, Mary Ellen and Thom Duell were excellent and very engaging with the audience”
“A friend of ours was raging about this little pizza place he found in San Jose. So of course we had to check it out. The restaurant is on the smaller side but if you get there early, you should be able to get a table. They have a bar and TV's for those sports enthusiasts. The owner, and staff are very friendly and helpful. More importantly, the pizza was delicious! I love the thin crust. You can order what's on the menu or create your own pizza. We will definitely be back”
“Omg THE BEST VEGAN DONUTS I’ve ever had! I was craving Boston Cream Pie donuts and they knocked it out of the park! I tried a lil bit of everything, all of their donuts are HEAVEN! Also, if you’re a cappuccino lover you must try their cappuccino! I got one with oat milk - THE BEST CAPPUCCINO EVER! lol this place is heaven.”
“Delicious Korean food at a competitive price compared to other Korean restaurants in the South Bay. I like that they offer a non-spicy version of tteokbokki, as I prefer the savory quality to it and most Korean restaurants only sell the spicy version. Their soft dumplings are on the smaller side, but tasty and come with 12 for $11. Really good offering of side dishes, especially if you opt to eat in instead of take out.”
“Me and my friends come from Santa Cruz to Camden because the Capitola Crumbl closed down. Today we had the best service with a girl named Heather, definitely recommend!! Great service, great cookies ?”
“This place is awesome. Found it across the street from my hotel so location was perfect for me. If I were a local I would put this on my regular stop. The servers were super friendly and attentive. The food was super yummy and my drink was spot on.Lots of seating inside and plenty of parking outside. This is a great place.”
“Not a lot of seating but it’s a cute little corner shop that it’s nice to visit! Grabbed their mango matcha latte and it was spot on. Very fruity and flavorful and refreshing like a helpful worker mentioned. They also offer pastries and croissants of different flavors like pistachio, ham & cheese, butter, chocolate. Would need to come back to try one.Parking is street parking or garage parking two blocks down from the shop.”
“I've been a regular customer for about 50 years. This is the last one still open. Sadly, the landlord isn't renewing their lease. So April 23, 2024 is supposed to be their last day open. The place is always busy now since the announcement. The staff is friendly, the food comes up hot and fresh. Our favorite is the ribeye sandwich with a baked potato. Reasonably affordable.”
“My first time visiting this cafe and I ordered Dirty Thai Iced Tea. I am Thai and I gotta say it was delightful with strong tea flavored! Thai Tea part was good and even better with the combination of fresh espresso shot! Now I don’t want just normal Thai Tea but Dirty Thai Tea from now on! Lol LOVE IT!!!”
“Family owned local business ~ used to come here so often but due to pandemic, haven't been here for awhile.Food still so good. Service always good.Parking: Easy parking”

Milan
“Fabulous dining experience. Service was lovely, food was great excellent and interesting. We had the shrimp appetizer, grilled cauliflower, beet salad and we both had the Dungeness crab pasta. Very happy with all of them!”
“Varied menu and good service. The menu includes several gluten free entries. The staff are knowledgeable about special dietary requirements. I had Chilean sea bass and it was delicious! The only drawback is that it can get quite noisy.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options.”
“First, no parking, second, most seating is in a covered outdoor area, 10' from the traffic on Monterey Road. 4 Stars ? In truth, I simply had the plate of fish tacos. Service was good and the Tacos, excellent. Each bite a mouth full of pleasure. I did bring home an order of fruit and shrimp which I'm still too full to face. Chips and salsa ? strange to me. Chips - Not ! 'A' store bought corn tostada - the kind in the store on the shelf in a box next o the box of pre-cooked and formed taco shells. served with a cup of warm broth. Again, strange to me. Not something I would walk across the street for. ( not worth the effort ) - The Taco on the other hand is worth special trip for. I look forward to returning to explore their huge variety of fish and seafood options. They do sell the normal variety of taqueria tacos.”
“LeYou Ethiopian offers a culinary journey through rich and aromatic flavors. Each dish is a celebration of Ethiopian cuisine, prepared with care and authenticity. The cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality create a welcoming dining experience.”
“Do yourself a favor and get both the vegetarian and meat combo! I loved: Mitten shito Yemisser wot Doro wot I liked: After kik Atakilt wot Gomen wot Kei wot Raw Kitfo special (beef) Ethiopian Coffee This was ok: Alitcha wot (dry) Ethiopian Spiced Tea Eating these #goodeats with my bare hands was an awesome cultural experience There are lots of unique flavors and textures and having a large group made things easy to share. Highly recommend dining in as they'll serve you raw kitfo properly. Ethnic rules apply for service and ambiance. It's dark as hell in the restaurant so speak up if you need something or else they'll ignore you.”
“Okay the other restaurants will need to learn something new from this tequila's restaurant.Food service Atmosphere. And most of all respect to a humble person.Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family thing.Wheelchair accessibility: It's all accessibility ? ”
“The food is very delicious. Good service and very attentive and friendly staff. Besides, I forgot my bag there with an amount of money and they called to return it and it was intact, thank you very much 10 out of 10 ? I recommend it”
“One of the best birria tacos i've ever had in my life. The person who served me was one of the coolest and genuine person ever. He made sure he got me right. The music is bumping and the vibes are dope.Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants delicious tacos”
“Clean, festive, and incredibly delicious! I tried the calimari the first time, a quick stop, and was impressed with the clean, lovely restaurant, the service, and the incredibly perfect appetizer. With a little more time today, I decided to try the dine-in experience... even better! The chips and delicious house salsa are accompanied by a generous portion of lime... trust me, a few drops of lime unified and elevated this simple appetizer. Care was obviously taken when choosing this combination, and the chips were hearty and flavorful; possibly stone-ground? The shrimp are fresh, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with decadent flavor. Add the excellent produce and incredible sauce and you have a can't miss experience... the lowly shrimp is elevated to VIP status here, carefully prepared and paired with incredible fresh produce carefully prepared. Hands down the best tacos camerones I have ever had. Run, don't walk, to try this cozy, beloved restaurant just off Saratoga. You will thank me, I promise you!”

Juice Alize
“These days it becomes challenging to find a place with REAL juice. High Quality juice that your body needs. I've been to many places for real juice & I can tell you first hand that this place is what you are looking for.”
“I love how you can watch the chefs cook your food in the woks in their "open" kitchen. The only downside is I smelled pretty smoky afterwards. I stopped by in a group of 2 on a Saturday night for a small dinner. It wasn't too crowded inside with many free tables, although there were many people who picked up delivery/takeout orders during my meal. We got the mapo tofu ($13.99), stir-fried string beans with pork ($15.99), and a bowl of rice each ($2/ea). The mapo tofu came on this sizzling plate that kept it hot the whole time! The tender pieces of tofu were swimming in a savory sauce that had a numbing kick. The pieces of pork in this dish were pretty small and added some umami flavor to the dish, but the tofu was the star of the show. I am glad we ordered rice to soak up all the tasty sauce! The stir-fried string beans had a lot of peppery flavor and were nicely blistered on the surface. Although the string beans were glistening on the surface they did not feel or taste too greasy. The pork in this dish was saltier than in the mapo tofu and at times was a bit too salty for me. I wouldn't have minded the dish without the pork and might even try ordering it without pork next time. The servers are kind and attentive. The seating area is not the fanciest but this is a great spot for a casual and tasty meal!”

IZAKA-YA
“Authentic Japanese izakaya with a wide selection of delicious Japanese food, everything from ramen and sashimi to curry and bentos. Lots of great side dishes too, I personally enjoy the natto, sushi to pepper and tsukemono. They also have plenty of Japanese beers and sake. Open pretty late too (11pm) for when you get a late night craving for Japanese food.”
“This place is cozy and very cute! They have a nice happy hour with delicious drinks. They may be a bit understaffed but they have nice service (just takes a while). I liked the drink and food options during happy hour. Seems like a fun place to get wine and live music as well.”
“My friends recommended me this place and I always wanted to try it but didn’t get a chance. I did went there today for lunch and trust me the food was amazing. I tried their kebabs and wraps and it was really good. The staff was incredibly attentive, catering to our every need without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, which made choosing our dishes a delightful experience. Will definitely come back to try their others options from the menu.”
“Ate lunch here today, the calamari and zucchini appetizer was excellent. Followed by seafood pho. The broth was rich and flavorful and the seafood was fresh and plentiful. Really enjoyed the food and the server was outstanding. Definitely a great place for lunch at competitive pricing. We'll be back for sure!”

“The Breakfast Club at Midtown is a good brunch place. They have a wide selection of brunch items. Their hash browns are a little bit special. They have a unique flavor and texture that I really like.”
“I've never had anything less than delicious and the owner is sweet as peach tea on a hot summer day ?❤️?.Dietary restrictions: Yummy food without whatever ails you!”
“Nice restaurant. The menu has all the typical dishes and more. We just tried a few things on their menu, and everything was good. The wontons in the wor wonton soup was really good. There are lots of veggies in it which I like. We also had the pan-fried pork buns. Crispy bottom. The filling was just ground pork, which was good. We just ordered a couple of vegetable items. Dry string beans and eggplant in garlic sauce. Both were great. The portion size was large, which I appreciate. Lots to take home. I will be going back.”

iJava Cafe
“Been there during a meet. Managers/owner/staff was great. I had a great latte with a croissant sandwich which was very fresh and good. I heard that this location is one out of two. I'm not sure where the other one is, but I'll definitely visit it.”
55
Bistro Tupaz
“Bistro Tupaz was a nice surprise. It is a restaurant in a small shopping mall of Santa Teresa serving French and European dishes. I had a bavette steak you don't easily find in restaurants and it was delicious. Even if it was slightly overcooked, the meat was tender and tasty. Cassoulet was great. We had fresh beignets for dessert, a true treat with warm chocolate sauce. Friendly service, as it was my husband's birthday we also left with an extra raspberry pie at no charge. Highly recommended for good food without breaking your budget.”
“The service from this restaurant was amazing and the food was absolutely amazing the soup was creamy and rich but not heavy and the ravioli had a consistent chewy texture for al dente noodle.”
“Had the spicy pork lunch special and it was amazing. The pork was so flavorful and was great by itself, but adding on the provided hot sauce took it to the next level of awesome. The banchan were great as well.”

“Great customer service. And willingness to accommodate customers based on your own personal preferences. Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Warming place good environment. Family friendly place, totally worth it. Very much recommended. I was invited by my boss the first time I came to this place I loved the food, and service that made me come back to enjoy dinner knowing that I would be welcomed and treated with dignity. Apart from that their food itself it’s yummy. Definitely. Food, and service on point. All employees super helpful and friendly at all times.”
“I had the french toast and bill's original mimosa. I am not much of a mimosa fan but it was really delicious and I. Highly recommend it as for their french toast it was incredible.. Also our server was very accommodating and fast.”

Sendo Sushi
“We went for dinner. I had a Dragon Roll, and others with me had a Shrimp Tempura Entree and a Bento Box with Beef Teriyaki / Stir Fried Vegetables. For dessert, we had the green tea ice cream and the mochi ice cream. My favorites from the evening were the sushi and the green tea ice cream. The portions were well-sized, the food was tasty, and the server was very kind.It was a great experience, and I would happily go again.”
“I was here working for a week and was eating fast food and my body was highly upset about the whole food situation. On our last day in town I found this place with great reviews.Bartender was great and answered all our questions, I finally went with the pork chop.It was easily hands down, the best pork chop I ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Add a old fashioned and I was in a great place to be.Absolutely ?. Will definitely return to give the 5 Starz this place deserves. Do yourself a favor and just go!”
“Nice amount of meat and onions in the pho. Broth is just right. Tendons were tasty too. It wasn’t that busy, we were taking our time, I liked how they didn’t harass us to leave by bringing the check like other places.”
70
Sushi Maru
“Got the lunch special twice, and it didn't disappoint. All the items were tasty and nicely prepared. I've visited Japan and would say this dish is comparable to what I've eaten there in terms of authenticity. The service was friendly and quick too, despite how busy lunch hour tends to be here. The only thing is that the eating area is not the most spacious. However, I've eaten at smaller places in Japan so it's not a bother to me but worth noting.”
71
Saapaaduu
“This little gem just opened up near my house and I could not be happier. I've had their food twice now and both times they did not disappoint. I really wish they offered masala dosa during lunch because that's usually when I like to eat it! You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. Also very surprised by their cauliflower appetizer! Chefs kiss!”
72
Los Garcias
“First time came here, the food was tasty and the staff were so nice and friendly. Love the vibes, Highly recommended it. Chips and salsa were truly tasty. Qusadilla was ??”
“Absolutely the best Korean food in the area: delicious side dishes, fulfilling portions of food, and extremely flavorful. They also have the BEST seafood pancake I’ve ever had. Amazing restaurant overall, highly recommend (from an Asian person)!!!”

Sweet Mango
“Great little restaurant in Willow Glen. Service was very good and the food is reasonably priced. We had wor wonton soup , Chinese chicken salad and beef chow fun. The food came Out very quickly and was hot and tasty. Really enjoyed the beef chow fun. Definitely will be back to eat here again.”

Pho This Way
“This was our first time dining here and we had an amazing experience! If you're not sure what restaurant to dine at in Vietnam Town, you definitely want to check this spot out! The net egg rolls (must try!!) have such a slight and delicate crisp, making every bite so satisfying! Their pho dac biet was so aromatic and packed with meat! The fried chicken rice plate was so tender and paired so well with the fish sauce for a burst of umami flavor! Their taro salad was something I've never tried before, and was so tasty! The fried taro balances well with the tanginess of the salad and so addicting to eat! And lastly the shaking beef was so juicy and flavorful and loved the sauce! The portions are so generous! The restaurant itself is very cute and clean! We loved the lantern decor! We received great service and were informed about the popular menu items. Overall it's a fantastic spot to dine with family and friends! There are so many restaurants in Vietnam Town, and it can be so hard to pick where to eat, but you definitely want to check this spot out! We will definitely be back! Since it's located in a busy plaza, parking can get crazy especially during the lunch hour. But since people are coming and going for lunch, it's fairly easy to find a parking spot. There's also a parking garage in the very back of the plaza, very close to Pho This Way!”

Sushi Island
“We came here on a Friday night 3/22 around 5:30pm. We're seated right away at the sushi bar. The place started getting extremely busy and all the tables were occupied by 6:30pm. They had 1 main sushi chef then a second cook came out to help. 2 waitresses on staff that were all working very hard non stop, but can't seem to keep up with the patrons and DoorDash standing by. We ordered the Rainbow roll - very fresh Tiger dragon roll - love this roll Spicy tuna roll - one of the best Kanpachi nigiri - it was okay Hamachi nigiri- very good and fresh Scallop - will not order again Ebi - just okay. We will definitely come back, but on a different day of the week when they not as busy.”
“Small but excellent place w really fast service. Authentic tasting Thai food . The egetabels were super fresh and crunchy. Highly recommend the khao soi, the chef was super accommodating to switch out the fried chicken with fried tofu instead. YUM.Vegetarian options: Basil tofu, Tom kha, khao soo, curries, pad thai, pad see eaw and more!”
“I liked the fried chicken, very good flavor. Only you have to add more slices to fried chicken. Since they put more cabbage than slices. Nice place, clean, tidy, and very good service from the staff. They need to put chips and salsa on what you expect the food to be.”
“I had lived in Japan before. The food was authentic and service was very nice. Definitely will visit again!Oyako udon teishoku was my kid’s favorite and my husband really enjoyed Miyuki teishoku(he chose beef sukiyaki, chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu).”
“All my Korean dreams come true and just down the street from me! Highly recommend you check them out and support their small business. We came here on a whim and I'm so glad we did. I've been craving Korean food and I'm so happy this place is so close to me. They've only been open for 6 months. Plenty of parking in the lot or on the street. The lady who took our order and served us is so cute and sweet. She doesn't speak English too well, but she was working hard and she was the only one front of the house! She takes care of all the patrons, the Doordash orders, the to go orders, refill waters, check you out, etc. We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, spicy beef stew, and the veggie pancake. Both were not spicy but tasted amazing! My husband said the stew is his fave soup of all time! The beef is shredded and it comes with glass noodles. I normally don't like seafood pancakes, but the veggie one here was fried to perfection. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The braised short ribs had great flavor. I do wish the meat was more tender, but it's still a solid dish. They don't skimp on the ban chan and they were all good. They'll give you refills if you ask too. This place isn't cheap for being on the East Side, but I think prices are on par with other Korean restaurants. We're happy to be back because the food was fire and staff were so friendly.”

“I like their Ambur mutton biryani which is full of flavor and a bit spicy though not dominating other flavors. Appam is authentic and our kids love it with mild chicken curry. Service is very good , Chef is very friendly and he himself served some dishes.”

Goodtime Bar
“Food is great, the people are better. Ann and Steven are crushing it and as the name would suggest, if you're looking to have a good time—you can count on finding it at Goodtime Bar.”
“We wanted a home-style food. We ordered a catfish with sour soup, very tasty, nice vegetable textures. We ordered fried noodles, two kinds of egg roll, a kho with pork and rau mung(sp?). Service was nice, our friends enjoyed the selection.”

Cha Cha
“Best sushi in San Jose! Wish the place was a bit bigger because it’s always busy, but I get that the owner likes things just the way they are. Bigger isn’t always better. My favorite sushi place since Kubota closed in Japantown. One thing I have to say is that you call and the phone just rings and rings. It’s literally like they turn the phone off, that’s not good.”

PHIN BAR
“What a great place to grab coffee and enjoy your morning. The coffee here is spectacular if you love coffee also if you love cool looking places. They offer a variety of flavored coffee drinks which I truly avoid but in this case, my wife tried one of the flavored ones and really enjoyed it. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. I can't say anything bad about the service as well. Come here have a small talk with a friend and enjoy your drink. Definitely recommended and don't miss out.Pros: coffee, staff, decorCons: popular:)Stars: 4.5”

Zeni
“We really enjoyed our dinner at Zeni. The food was delicious and the portion was very generous. The honey wine (Teje) was spot on! What we really enjoyed the most was the service and the friendly staff. Helen (our server) was very nice and welcoming. She made sure we were happy and provided quality service! We will definitely come back when we visit SJ again!”
“Escape the hustle and bustle and retreat to this charming hideaway, where draft beer takes center stage. With a rotating lineup of craft brews on tap, there’s always something new and enticing to try. The inviting atmosphere and warm hospitality make it the perfect spot to gather with friends and enjoy the simple pleasure of a cold beer in good company.”
“I am a HUGE fan of 365 Mediterranean! My company orders from them often via Relish and I always look forward to having them on the menu. I came to their store for the first time and there was tons of parking and seating. The food also came out super quickly (+ a free piece of chocolate). Their portions are always large and the food is always delicious! Highly recommend checking out 365”

Bazille
“Bazille is a great place to catch up with friends, family, and enjoy a tasty meal while at Valley Fair. The seating booths are comfortable and the servers are friendly.I ordered the crab bisque and it is filled with great flavor that melts in your mouth. The steak was yummy and paired well with the kalamata aioli dipping sauce. The best part about Bazille is their delicious fries and kalamata aioli dipping sauce. They are my favorite, a must-try for anyone trying Bazille for the first time.If you are looking for a great place to unwind and eat in the mall, look no further than Bazille”
“Located in Vietnam Town, Enjoy Seoul is in a corner of the left building when you pull into the lot. It isn't the biggest, but definitely clean. My mom and I were seated immediately for an early dinner. We are regulars here as my mom thinks this is her favorite Korean restaurant, and I have to say the soup and the stone bibimbap is also probably the best too. It was more than enough food for the two of us, and we had about one serving left to bring home. I think the banchan helps make the meal filling! Service is average, but in a good way. Took a star down because the table next to us got their food first but we ordered before them, and they seemed to order the same thing we did. Overall, definitely will come back again, and if you do go, try not to go during lunch or dinner rush because it's not that big and you might wait a while.”
“Nice atmosphere and great service with friendly staff. Our only issue is with the prices. Our lunch which consisted of 5 small tacos, 2 house margaritas and dessert came to around $100.00. In Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA) which is an expensive tourist destination, a similar lunch with a lot more food and a great margarita costs us about $60.00. There were very few Mexicans dining there either as it is apparently targeting rich gringos.”
“We arrived around 12 noon on Sunday morning and heard that there was only one server on the floor. They informed us there might be a little wait. However, after we sat down for a few minutes, our server, Yoon, greeted us quickly and took our orders right away. She even checked in on us after we received our food. The best thing was that she recommended the spicy wontons, which are made in-house now. We LOVE it!! We also ordered some other appetizers and our ramens. Yes, the reviews are right; the restaurant is a little loud if you are sitting inside, the place is definitely pricey for ramen, but you're paying to be at Santana Row. Overall, I'm very happy with their food and service.”
“I went to this restaurant Saturday night around 6pm without reservations. It was full even bar counter. Recommend to book on weekend. I really liked the sausage! Beef tongue was tender! Shrimp flitters taste very shrimpy so it was ok for me. All dish has a lot of flavor and everything is good with wines!”

Tabu Shabu
“I have indulged in a late lunch at Tabu Shabu twice. The staff did a great job of describing the options and preparation process, after learning it was my first visit. They checked in several times to ensure things were going well and offered advice. There are a variety of protein options and the vegetables gave "farm to table vibes." The meat was high-quality and the ponzu dipping sauce was delicious.Parking: The parking directly in front of the restaurant is small and crowded.”
“Good food, AMAZING rice. The service was great and quick, the guy who took my order was very kind and welcoming. The lady who served our food was also very kind! Once receiving my food I grabbed some utensils from the side and will say the food is great is you're looking for Caribbean food, the chicken is seasoned well and the salsa they give is good. Definitely recommend the mango drink they have, probably my favorite part of the meal!”
“Came here on a rainy Saturday evening for dinner. There were quite a few patrons, but no wait since there were open tables. The “prefer English” option for the QR menu was nicely done. Everything was translated (as opposed to Taiwan Bistro’s QR system where all the menu items are still in Chinese and only the in-app functions like “order now” are in English). We would skip the woodear mushrooms next time; these were a little too spicy, sharp and tangy for our liking. I got the clear beef noodle with rice noodle, which was tasty. The highlight was the pan fried soup bun. Lots of soup and a lovely crusty bottom! We would come here again!”
“We enjoyed a great fresh, hot pizza and a glass of primitivo. It’s nice to be able to enjoy a nice glass of wine with a meal. Fun urban vibe. We’ll be back!”
“Wonderful place, family owned and so welcoming! Perfect place for families, date night, great food, awesome value for quality food, will come back and recommend to everyone!”

“Love this local coffee spot. The owner is super nice and welcoming. It seems like a community center where everyone knows each other, greets warmly, and even offers to share seats. We enjoyed a cappuccino and a latte (they offer soy/almond milk for substitute), we appreciate so much with the owner’s sweet treat! The relaxed atmosphere here feels so European, instantly bringing us back to Portugal and sparking that nostalgic feeling. Great spot to chill with excellent coffee and some food. Definitely coming back.Cash or Venmo only. Free parking right next to the shop.”
“Very good bakery with a wide of variety of cakes, macaroons, pasteries and danishes to choose from. I got some tiramisu and it was sooo delicious. Their ice cream macaroons are out of this world. They also make some really good tropical drinks made with sugar cane. You can preorder cakes for holidays and birthdays. The manager Van is really nice and she goes out of her way to make sure yiur order will be prrfect. You gotta check it out. If you go there once, you will be there at least twice.”
“Amazing Indian/Nepalese cuisine. The veg momos and pakoras were very flavorful. The California spicy noodles was very hot…so you may want to let them know your spice levels. Highly recommended!”

“The best Menudo I have had in the Bay, bar none. Not a fancy atmosphere or area but the menudo speaks for itself. You can eat the Menudo as is or with all the fixings they provide and it is FANTASTIC. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys menudo.”
“First time after new ownership. First they do not keep the points so we lost them. Overall it's as good as before, the tables are now much cleaner as are the floors. There really is no other place around here to get tea and snacks, compared to other places the tea is not as good but it is decent. The calamari and popcorn chicken were excellent, crispy and tasty.Service was fine, one tea came out much slower than the others.”

“Omggggg the food is sooooo good!!! Can't wait to go back, it's super loud in there, and service isn't that great, they never come back to the table so when you go make sure you're calling them over for refills and more drinks!! Their $5 palomas are delicious, get a few!! Just letting you all know the truth, but I highly recommend you still go and eat there!! It's honestly the best food so far, and I'm very picky!!!”
“Great experience set in a beautiful mansion. Had cocktails on the deck, dinner at the bar. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. “My daughter and grandson took me out to dinner here. What a fun expereince. The waitress was so attentive. And helped us make good choices. Wow the Sommelier was so helpful and knowledgeable about all kinds of different wines. How they taste where they are grown, and a little history. Thanks team. BTW the super fresh vegetables for sale looked cheaper than the grocery store.”
“The featured fettuccine with Parmesan and truffle was fantastic, from the table side service to the last bite. Many thanks to our server for the recommendation. Antipasto plate to share for starters exquisitely assembled, and an excellent Valpolicello to accompany everything. We were gratified that the attentive staff was able to find a quiet table for us, too. We'll be back!”
“This is the place to go. A group of friends and I came in to celebrate a birthday our service was amazing. Our server name is Samantha and she treated us so good. My friends all said they will come back because of the service. Come here to eat and see how wonderful things are. And the food is delicious. Thank you Samantha for the great job”
“The food and beverages at Left Bank Santana Row are excellent if you know what to order. The trout and French onion soup are typically sure things. The atmosphere is lovely and the location is neat with all of the twinkly lights outside.”
“Loved eating brunch here with my family! Our server was very attentive and friendly, and we enjoyed the ambience. The complimentary chips and salsa were a lovely touch; the chips were fresh and the salsas were tasty and unique. Definitely recommend!”
“Gave four stars because of outstanding service (Tami) and assistance by general manager (Jenn). Here for brunch on weekend. My eggs over hard. Ordered over easy. Bernadine sauce really really bad. Cook hard time cooking. Not used to making eggs as the brunch just temporary. Still! Steak served cold. My 84 year old lady friend had small steak. She loves it here. I don't. most likely return for dinners as she lives nearby and always asks to come here. Me, I prefer Morton's or any upscale steakhouse.”
“Parking: Large parking lot with EV charging stationsWheelchair accessibility: The lot has 2 or 3 slots in front of the restaurant with an accessible curb and wide walkways free of debris.”

“Awesome experience. Had food from Mercy Mediterranean and Luna’s Halal Taqueria and it was 5/5 good. The employees/manager checked up on our experience a few times and it was super nice. Definitely recommend!”
“Casual hawaiian eatery located in the Maplewood Plaza. Bright space with wooden chairs and tables inside, and a few tables outside too. Employee took my order at the front counter (standard service), though there's a self-order kiosk as well. Order was ready in 5-10 minutes, no other customers at the time. Got the mini loco moco, and the meat, gravy, mac salad, everything was flavorful and satisfying... the mini size was sufficient for a filling meal. Based on taste, I'd say this would be one of my top 2 hawaiian spots in the south bay.”
“Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and overall good vibes. The owner of the place, Rosemary is so friendly and welcoming. I strongly recommend to go and visit this place.”
